I have been a patient at Indiana Hand to Shoulder/Dr. Kaplan for several years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Kaplan has effectively treated me for arthritis in my right thumb, trigger finger and surgery of my right hand, and most recently, tendinitis of my left wrist. I assumed that I might be diagnosed with arthritis, so I was prepared for the possibility of needing an x-ray, or worse, an MRI. Dr. Kaplan patiently listened to my complaint and after a few manipulations and applying pressure here in there, he diagnosed me with tendinitis. He hit me with a cortisone shot, then I was over to his occupational therapist, Rachel Hummel, who did an excellent job of fitting me with a custom removable brace. I have 100% confidence in Indiana Hand to Shoulder and Dr. Kaplan, and would never go anywhere else for any problem pertaining to my hands or wrists.
