Derrick Moore: Hey, I understand that walk-ins have to wait. But, I went in at 1pm and didn't get seen until 4:15. I was there for a basic cleaning. First, I was told that I didn't have insurance. After verification of my insurance, I was told that I HAD TO get a deep cleaning by Dr. Patel. She insisted that I get a deep cleaning. I told her that I would get the deep cleaning from my dentist. Then, she refused to do the basic cleaning. I tried to explain that I had waited 3 hours and would like a basic cleaning. She literally scraped my teeth for two minutes before ordering in her assistant to polish my teeth. Please don't go here! Save your time!

UrgentCare Indy said they could see us, and they were very professional on the phone and in the office. The staff were helpful with my toddler, too, who had to tag along for the testing. We were in and out with results in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend!
Michael Cox: Completely racist location. Wouldn't even see my wife without an ID. Go down the street to Riverview they saw my wife without an ID and prescribed her medication for her condition. This place said they wanted $100 to just walk in the door. Riverview gave us an estimate and said we could pay later.

Also they do not require patients to wear masks which I find very disturbing especially for a health care facility. When I questioned the PA about this she told me the Covid epidemic was over and they leave it up to patient to decide if they want to wear it. Really? Very disappointed in visit and will not be returning. Will not advise anyone else to go either.

I have only been to the facility on two separate dates. It became obvious to me that a "copy & paste" had been used to pull symptoms from the previous visit into the current visit.The staff was very friendly and I appreciate being seen quickly. However my clinical summary is very inaccurate, which is concerning .
Jillian L: This place gets 2 stars because my experience was kind of of a live hate situation.. went in for personal reasons ended up needing labs done had 2 call for 6 days straight, now mind you the 3rd day I had to go back and redo my labs because they got "contaminated" so did that waited 2 days heard nothing finally I called they said got the results just can't read them so here I am feeling worse with no results almost a week have passed smh... the nurses and doctor were friendly and kind and very helpful.. but getting results when you are not feeling good is bad for business do not go here go to the ER!!
Wesley Ziegler: So I went to Indiana immediate care. They ran my insurance wrong then billed me a year later $250 for a covid test. I called to fix the problem and they said to go ahead an pay it and call the manager. I call the manager admits they have had problems with billing and will call me next week. A month passes I call back with insurance on the line they say they will fix the problem. No refund when I call again they say it has been to long to refund. I think they are con artists. The place should be shut down.

Celeste Davis: Rude receptionist, but quality medical care from nurse and doctor who saw me in office. No complaints on my treatment, the nurse was a sweet young Asian lady and the doctor was kind and explained me through my worries and obvious distress/pain from the infection. I asked for a single work note for the following Monday from the receptionist because my cat bit me hard and I work hard labor, I couldn’t even pick up my deodorant stick properly this morning from the pain and swelling. Receptionist told me no the doctor wouldn’t clear it I should be fine to work and didn’t need one but I could get accommodations. So I then asked her for a letter for accommodations because having the documentation for work is important, she said no and coldly insisted me I was okay to leave. Their lobby room was practically empty and not busy. I’ve gotten a work note from a blown out ear from my plugs before, I know I could have gotten some kind of note. The way she spoke to me was incredibly rude and although my treatment was good, this is now the second time I’ve had issues with this medical provider company but at a different Indiana location. I will go to St. Vincent instead for urgent care needs from now on.No issues from doctor or nurse again, thankful for them being patient with me. Just frustrated that the receptionist couldn’t take an extra minute to type up an official letter for my work just saying that I need appropriate work accommodations and how I was promptly dismissed since she deemed it unnecessary for me. You have to get documentation from a medical provider to properly get those medical accommodations?? It’s common sense. Lazy and negligent. Really disappointed.

Akire: Was told my entire visit was covered by insurance, but they knowingly sent my sample to lab not covered by my insurance without informing me resulting in additional bills and fees. Previously I had billing issues with this center but they were quickly resolved and I decided to give it another chance but after this, I will not be returning.
John Joyce: I went to this location 6/27/22 because my urine looked pink. All they did was take a urine sample and tell me it WAS blood. That's it, no further tests to tell me why or where it was coming from.Even though I gave them my Medicare card and supplement, they keep billing me $246.00. That is high by any standard and useless without more information. NOW I have to convince them I DO HAVE INSURANCE!! What a waste of my time.
Tyler Mellor: I’ve been feeling sick and missing work for over a week, so I went in to try and figure out what was wrong. Dr Kristy Reynold’s came in for 1 min, asked me how what symptoms I was experiencing then wrote me prescriptions and had me leave. Never once did she do an evaluation or examination of any part of me. Then said if symptoms get worse just go to the hospital.

Indmom11: We were billed by this facility over a year after our claim. When I spoke with my insurance company, they informed me that Immediate Care had sent the bill to the wrong place. I waited on hold for Immediate care for 45 minutes. Because it was over a year out it could no longer be properly billed. I suppose I could have fought harder and won, but frankly I don’t have the time to call them 50 times and wait on hold. Shame on you Immediate care for improper billing and the waiting a year to send an invoice. Borderline fraud. Find another place to go.
Ben Swain: We went once and liked it. But since then they are not an urgent care. They require a negative covid test to see you, which they will tell you to schedule online. So in 3 days you can get your covid test from them and they will see you then. So it is not an urgent care.

Jessica Frey: It was quick and fast but a little too quick and fast. The nurses and receptionist were all very helpful and nice but I felt differently about the doctor. The doctor came in like she was in a rush which was weird considering there was no one else at the clinic and they clearly weren’t busy. I told her about my concerns and she immediately said that it was due to the covid shot. She never examined the physical symptoms I had and didn’t even ask me what type of vaccine I got. I had symptoms that were a clear sign of a common condition but she didn’t even take a blood test to confirm and just told me it was the shot. Overall I talked to her for 1 minute. I did some further research and could not find one piece of literature that claimed the vaccine could cause the symptoms I’m experiencing. I’m not a doctor but I’m sure a major side effect of a vaccine would be published to the public. After my visit I was told to take 4000mg of vitamin c. The limit for vitamin c is 2000mg and that’s much higher than recommended. I just felt the visit was not nearly thorough enough.

Life with Jody: I have been to this location over a dozen times for testing for myself and my family. I have never been treated so poorly and felt so violated than during this visit. I was contacted 10 mins prior to my appointment as usual to get register a d was asked if I was already in the parking lot, which I was not but live 3 mins away so arrived as the call ended. I sat patiently waiting while 1 testing tech addressed 4 vehicles in 20 mins which has never happened in my previous visits so I called to inquire if there was some kind of issue. The gentleman (I say that out of respect not based on his behavior) that I spoke to was short, rude, and accusatory when I asked if there was something going on since it had been 20 mins since my appointment time. He then asked my name and I said that I was “next.” While trying to get his name he name an accusatory statement saying that he didn’t feel safe giving it to me because i was being hostile which was completely out of line especially after the way he was speaking to me. Then the testing tech came to my car as I was hanging up and he was extremely unprofessional. I have been tested there many times, including when the tests were originally given and swabbed deeper in each nostril. Not only did he go deeper but also he purposed went slower causing me a nose bleed. I am completely appalled by the staff that was working today and I understand people have off days but to treat others this way when you have the ability to have them in vulnerable positions is absolutely abhorrent. Which is a shame because I have always had good experiences prior to this visit..

After researching the prescribed medication the description does not even match my symptoms. All I wanted was to be given a CT scan so I can be diagnosed properly. Instead I was treated on a timer, prescribed useless medication and pushed out the door figuratively of course.

Aizen2468: Came in with severe coughing and sinus issues, and was seen quickly.I was told that by the male doctor that it was a simple Upper Respiratory Infection and could return to work basically immediately. I was a tad surprised by that, because I've been hacking my guts up nonstop, and coughing so much that tears were coming out of my eyes. I work a very physical job, and told him as much as well.The doctor stated he could set up a doctor's note stating I could return to work tomorrow.But when the nurse came in, she suggested I get plenty of rest and try to take it easy. I voiced my confusion of this, because I was told I could return to work tomorrow. Also, i work overnights, and was a tad concerned about how my boss might take the note. She said she'd talk to the doctor and see if anything could be done.The male doctor then opens the door, and while standing in the hallway, begins to openly and loudly berate me in front of several staff and whoever else was nearby. Basically openly accusing me of fishing for sick days from him, not being open with him, changing my story, etc.All from the hallway, shouting all of this it into the room I was waiting in.....for all to hear. To say he was clearly irritated, annoyed, and wanted everyone to know it was an understatement. I more just wanted to clarify me working overnights, and was just...surprised with how miserable I felt, and how horribly I was hacking to the point of tears that I just wanted to ask him if it would be alright to literally just miss one day.He then told me, loudly and annoyed, from the hallway, that seven days is the absolute max he's ever given anyone.....again, trying to make it seem to the staff and anyone else listening, that I was fishing for as much sick time off as I could or something.I just felt humiliated and embarrassed by my visit is all and i never want to go back to this place. I don't think I did anything overly agregious. I literally just asked the nurse about the doctor's note when she told me it was advised I take it easy and get as much rest as possible. I never raised my voice, I don't think I indicated in anyway that I was trying to be insulting or anything. But the male doctor clearly took it that way and wanted the whole immediate care to it....The speed of being seen was excellent and the nurse I spoke to when i was first taken to the care room was quite professional and nice. But....I've never had a doctor kinda....flip out on me like that from the hallway, so everyone could hear my business.Personally, I just feel like the doctor felt like I was questioning him and fishing for sick days from work, and he maybe jumped the gun when he revisited me all guns blazing in front of everyone.But.....I've never seen a doctor do that before....and humiliate a patient in front of everyone around them. Openly voicing the information for all to hear. At least not without the patient freaking out first to get a rise out of the doctor....I left definitely feeling humiliated and embarrassed. Which I think was maybe the male doctor's goal.

Very personal with me. I'm in Healthcare as well so that's so important to me! She made me feel incredibly safe and welcome. It's nice being seen by people who care to get to know you on a personal level the way she did! And the doctor was amazing as well! I can't remember her name off the top of my head but she was a taller white lady with long brown hair! She was equally amazing. They couldn't help me that day but allowed me to leave with some pain relief which was what I was struggling with the most. Thanks Immediate Care for awesome work! It did not go unnoticed! ❤️

Well I had to call around to even find a pharmacy with amoxicillin and what if they’re out by the time it’s transferred? They don’t care.

Jose Nieves: Horrible service at the minute clinic. Do not spend your time or effort coming to this location, you will get an extremely cold attitude regardless that you are sick. They just do not care.
Lauren Schmitt: Stuck with a $500 bill my insurance fully covers!Absolutely do not go to this clinic for any reason. My doctor Sara Jones wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say purely because I wasn’t on a birth control pill. She kept trying to force a script for the pill during my visit, even though that isn’t why I was there! Then, she coded my visit incorrectly so that my insurance won’t cover the costs. I’ve called the billing and complaint department numerous times and wasted hours of my life for them to continue to not solve the problem after months. My insurance has even said if they would change a single code it would be fully covered!

When it came to signing into the clinic their kiosk was messed up. I forgot my veterans ID but I had my mission act number and I have my regular driver's license. Rather than telling me hey can you at least get us a picture of your ID or call the VA to confirm your identity or at least try to reschedule the appointment I was disregarded and dismissed. I could have easily given them the number for the mission act program I could have easily had them verify that my veteran status by calling the VA giving them my social and they could have easily looked me up in the system. The clinic staff were just looking to dismiss individuals and I felt really insulted. I do not recommend this place
Skull & Bones: The Minute Clinic had no one working and I waited a long time for no reason.
Nouha M: The worst experience I’ve ever had at a clinic. I scheduled a rapid COVID test at 3:50pm today and was sent text messages letting me know to pull into a designated spot for my test and to NOT enter the clinic bc of COVID risk. So I arrive, to find NO signage about designated parking spots, so I call the store and it’s impossible to get ahold of someone. So I go through the pharmacy drive thru and he tells me I have to park in front of the white shack at the front, or knock. There is NO parking in front of this shack and no signage except their logo. So I get out and knock only for them to tell me I missed my appointment and that they tried calling me. I received two calls from Rhode Island, so I don’t answer what look like spam calls. She tells me in the instructions it says they’ll call me at my appt time—I pull up those so called instructions and nothing is written about getting a call. She says, “yeah they do it a little bit differently at this location”. So which is it??? She apologizes, understands this is ridiculous and the worst customer service I’ve ever received, and tells me I’ll have to reschedule. Better believe I’ll be avoiding CVS if I can from here on out. Just awful customer service.
Jessica Scherb: Didn’t sleep at all due to fever and strep like issues. Walked in the minute they opened. Booked apt and the earliest they could see me was an hour and a half later. Lady didn’t even look at me as I sat there miserable just needing help. When asked if they’d be able to assist be any earlier she asked if I was vaccinated for covid and said I wouldn’t be helped without the vaccine. I was there with strep like symptoms and just needed a strep test ...
Tom Terry: Husband had a 6:30 appt. Checked in at 6:15. At 7:20 he is still waiting and no one checked with him. He went to find someone and they are closed. Closed at 7pm. And he was sitting there,waiting UNACCEPTABLE. Major breakdown somewhere. Now he will get an appt with Walgreens clinic.

Jenni Case: Got in line from home on the website, checked in at the kiosk and waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. Was in and out in under 20 minutes!
Bridget Watts: I have used this locations services a couple times for both myself and my children. The staff are knowledgable, professional, efficient amd friendly. We have never had to wait very long to be seen. Very satisfied with their service and will continue to use this as an alternative to the er.
C & N Dalton: Visiting from out of town, this was the closest clinic to downtown. The wait was a bit long, but you can download the app and hold your place in line. Really good service and friendly nurse practitioner.My uber driver mentioned that it wasn't a great area of town which had me worried, but it was totally fine, clean and safe.
Lauren Bangs: VERY disappointed.Started to feel congestion symptoms late last week, so I popped in Monday and could not be seen due to a lack of insurance card... Ok fine.Tuesday, I was booted out because I checked in too late (I checked in at 5:45) and they close at 7...Wednesday morning (I took a personal morning off)... had to wait over an hour and a half and could not be seen because I had to go back to work.Wednesday afternoon.... finally seen. Nurse tells me that I have a bad case of allergies and that I should buy zyrtec and sudafed...Really? I've been sick with sinus pressure and congestion for a week and you're gonna recommend that? Ugh. I tried to go to Walgreens across the street for a second opinion, they're closed temporarily.HOW FRUSTRATING. Do NOT recommend.
kristine smith: DO NOT GO HERE FOR THEIR CLINIC!!!! I signed in with only 2 people ahead of me at 12:30, at 1:00 the NP just left to go to lunch. Per their policy online and their phone recording, this is a Huge no no! The NP just shrugged and said "the computer doesn't dictate my lunch". Horrible horrible service!! It's not CVS that controls this, but they represent it and let it happen.
Camry Hess: Do not go here for a flu shot! They charged us $53 dollars. We have insurance, which covers preventive services (flu shots included) for free. We showed them the insurance card and they still charged us. Now we are getting the run around with billing services. Ugh. I will never come back here. Go across the street to Walgreens. I've never had a problem there.

Melissa Hinman: What a complete joke. Don't waste your time if you value your life. They knew from the get go what my deal was, instead of sending me straight to the emergency room they made me sit in pain for hours. Then after waiting and then finally being seen by the unprofessional physician, he said we can't treat you. Told me to go to the E.R. This place needs shut down. I wouldn't send a flea here for treatment nor my worst enemy.
JaQuita Sturdivant: Negative zero stars but that’s not an option this place is garbage. The staff and doctors have nasty attitudes and are rude. I brought my 11 month old baby up here and they literally shoved medicine down her throat made her choke. Every time someone came in the room they made no eye contact, talked fast and could barely understand them they act like the patients are a burden when clearly they are getting paid it’s not like they are volunteering their personal free time. If the staff don’t like their jobs find new ones no one is forcing them to work in healthcare. Do not waste your time coming here for anything.
Susie Cunningham: 100% Wrong diagnosis. I was told to go to the ER. I had a blood clot in my lung. My head and chest were congested. One could hear wheezing from my chest when I breathed. I went to my family physician today. I have a severe sinus infection and severe bronchitis. I was prescribed a z-pack. Now, I am on my way to get better. DO NOT go to this facility!
Debbie Baker: Recently my husband and I were in this med center. They were so nice. Saw 2 different doctors and 2 CNAs. They were efficient and knowledgeable.Yes we had to wait even when we called ahead for appointment but they told us that upfront. We were both very pleased.
Mackenzie Stinson: I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I almost never write reviews, but wow. Save yourself the time and DO NOT come here. I had a 12:27pm appointment. I got there early with chest pains, so they took me right back. Not sure what the urgency was for, because I didn’t see a doctor until after I had been sitting there for 45 minutes (no exaggeration — I was sitting there solemnly watching and listening to the clock tick). The nurse who helped me (don’t know her name, as she didn’t bother to tell me and literally said ONLY what she had to) was rude. I had to get an EKG & she didn’t tell me what was going on, only to “take off your clothes. I need your bra off and everything.” OK— right here? No cover up? Right now? While you’re in the room? Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded if she told me what was going on and walked me through the process. It was absolutely terrible. SO unprofessional. The staff outside sitting at their desks were murmuring things about patients. This place needs a new staff or needs serious training. The doctor was nice, for the very few minutes I got to see her. However, it’s unfortunate because the service there was so terrible that it didn’t matter how great she was. Rant over— DON’T go.
Olivia Rodriguez: My kids peditrician didn’t have any openings so recommend to be seen by urgent care. This was the closest one that accepted my baby under 18 months. Made an appointment, got there, checked in and was seen and got a diagnosis in less than an hour! Nice helpful staff and felt like they wanted to figure out what was wrong! Thank you!

Amanda Maynard: I typically have a good experience with Medcheck Castleton, until this Sunday evening. I went in with two sick children with appointments at 4:40 and 5:50pm. After checking in, several people walked in and were told they would have to wait an hour or so for walk-ins. Around 5:10-5:15pm, two of the walk-ins that came in after us we called back. When I approached the desk for the 2nd time to complain about still waiting for appointments that were over 20 min passed due and two walk-ins being admitted before us, I was greeted with the most disrespectful nurse. She yelled that we were about to be taken back all at the same time and there was nothing else she could do because there were only 3 of them. The right thing to do would have been to have call those of us who had been waiting for our appointments and were still not admitted. I understand that they were busy and behind schedule, but appointments should come first. I was not yelling at them, but I was frustrated and annoyed. After I walked away, she then said very loudly “like you run this up here” or something to that effect. Her response was completely disgraceful and uncalled for. Our actual nurse, on the other hand, was great. Unfortunately, I will not be using this medcheck in the future.

Lily: I went in with symptoms of mastitis. I waited for 2 hours for a NP to come in and tell me I don’t have that. And no other help. I had all the symptoms including flu like. I contacted my OB-gyn cause I went home and my symptoms were worsening and they prescribed an antibiotic immediately. I forgot this is why I hate the urgent care.

Holly McLin: This was one of the worst medcheck experiences I have ever had. I misunderstood the directions when trying to check in on the iPad they have set up. When I asked the girl at the front desk how to check in she very rudely asked “Did you actually read the directions”? I told her that I had read the directions but was unable to check in. She asked what I did, so I told her. She immediately replied and said “That is not what the directions said, so you did NOT read the directions and you need to go back to the iPad and actually read and follow the directions”. At this point I chose to leave and seek services elsewhere. I will absolutely not be returning to this location for any kind of services moving forward.

I was told over the phone I could receive care here and when I got into there exam room all they told me was I needed to go to ER and they forced me to sign a form saying I was refusing care so I couldn’t sue them or be liable. Ridiculous waste of time. I could’ve already received the care I needed at an ER if they weren’t insisting that they could treat me. Awful experience. Avoid.

Abby Stephens: I took my boyfriend in for what we believe to be a flu related issue. They refused to test him for the flu because “nobody gets the flu anymore” and instead tested him for covid (which he had already done twice with a negative result) and strep. They then took an xray and left him to sit in the room for thirty minutes with no updates or communication. The only thing they did was try to prescribe him cough medicine which was the least concerning of all of his symptoms. Super disappointed after this visit.
Melinda Emmanoelides: After reading all the poor reviews I feel compelled to share my experience. I took a friend to this med check yesterday and had a great experience. All of the staff were friendly and we got in to see the doctor right on time. The doctor quickly assessed the situation and prescribed the appropriate medication. They even supplied translation services.
Tasha J: The worst service I have ever had in my life from professionals (checkin was great). I wish I checked the reviews first. Do not take anyone you love to this place, especially if they are having issues breathing not related to Covid. Go to the emergency room. These people are scared. Why stay open if you’re too scared to do proper checks on people? It’s truly sad.
Nicole Streza: I had an appointment at 1:26 p.m and they were extremely late calling me back. Once I got back to the room they informed me that it would be another hour wait. They do not honor appointments at this location. Please stop letting your patients believe they have an appointment when they don’t. I was not able to be seen today for my visit.
Kelli Jack-Kelly: A wonderful experience from start to finish! Booked online to see them for a severe attack of sciatica, was taken to intake within 2 minutes of checking in, and in a room less than 2 minutes after that. My vitals were taken, and the doctor came in less than 5 minutes of waiting. She was incredibly kind, empathetic and knowledgeable about my pain, and after a check up, she wrote me prescriptions, and even gave me number to call if the pharmacy was closed when I got there. Outstanding customer service, incredible care, and kindness....kudos!
David Ring: I don’t like to get upset with health care workers. I know that there under a lot of stress, but I have to question that when you take a family member here and your told to wait in the car do to Covid. First I walked in with my wife and then when she is called back and I was in the restroom I come back out and my jacket is gone and no one tells me what is going on but just tells Mel after being in the building for 15 minutes is ridiculous. NowI you have my jacket and took it from my wife but didn’t return it when you asked me to leave. I understand being cautious, but be professional.
