Would recommend them to anyone!Edit: Focus and I had an appointment with Dr. Ambrous today. I had discovered a lump under her left ear a couple days ago. Dr. Ambrous took his time explaining why it is nothing to worry about. I can sleep better knowing Focus is ok and that she is being well cared for with both Dr. Ambrous and Dr. Shore.

Lauren Williams: Dr. Ambrose is amazing! When my cat had entropion, the first vet clinic I took him to had me try 4 different creams and medications and they still didn't know what was wrong. Less than 30 seconds after seeing his eye, Dr. Ambrose knew what was wrong.

They called to change the appointment but never a time that worked with my schedule. They said to keep my appointment on that Friday. I never got a call to cancel or an email stating my appointment was canceled. I showed up to my cats appointment and was told it was canceled and she would not be seen today because the vet she was going to see was no longer there.The earliest they could get her back in was over 2 weeks away. Neeldess to say I was not impressed with this vet and I got an appointment at another vet much sooner.

Susan Alloway: Chloe had a nasty ear infection and needed to be seen. Their schedule was full but they fit her in. This is the second time they fit her into their schedule when she became sick and I appreciate it. Nice staff good doctors

Lexie Hoskins: Dr. Ambrose is absolutely wonderful, however the fill in vet IS NOT. My family called early this morning to schedule an appointment to come in later that day to put our dog down. She is very old and in insurmountable pain. When we get there, and the fill in “vet” checked her out, she refused to put her down because she “wasn’t comfortable.” She proceeded to tell us that it was our choice because she is OUR dog, but refused to grant us our wish. I’m sorry but if you’re too “uncomfortable” euthanizing a dog as a vet, get a new job. Now we have to sit and watch out precious angel suffer for God knows how much longer. This is a picture to show how old our baby is.

Either because of them not disclosing reasons for tests and charges or just not really caring about my fur baby.We had been to Binford Pet Wellness Clinic a long time ago but had been other places in recent years. Our dog suddenly started showing some concerning symptoms, so we booked here again.She and I were both a ball of nerves going in. Everyone was so kind and so patient from beginning to end. They were very busy, but they continued to check in on us and give updates, so we weren't wondering what was going on. They explained every step and updated charges with every change. Which were pretty reasonable given today's costs.Dr. Miranda was very informative and even consulted a second doctor to be sure she was giving me all of the info. Our nurse, Alicia, was so sweet and patient with my poor, nervous baby. I felt so supported by them through the whole process! I would definitely recommend them for all of your furbaby needs!

It's my first Dog and I've only had him since February so I was worried, but it all got better with a day! They were even able to give me an estimated date for his birthday!

I cancelled the service after three years, during which I went to two vet visits and one surgery (which we paid 4 figures for on top of the subscription fees).I called to cancel the subscription, and they seemed pleasant enough, but then didn’t cancel the service, instead left me a voicemail wanting me to listen to a sales pitch from the manager.After I called a second time and insisted they cancel it, then then sent me an email stating that I still owed them over 300 dollars. Apparently over $3000 in monthly fees since June of 2020 weren’t enough to cover the two vet visits my two dogs each received in that time.So when they say the subscription covers all basic services that is a complete lie. I wish I could give negative stars. Beware, read the fine print very carefully, because they are as slimy and dishonest as a politician selling used cars.Complete and utter scam.

While she is knowledgeable, the rest of my experiences on various occasions were similar to the last. I had an appointment for Friday at 9:15am. I show up at 9:15am and don’t get into a room until 9:45am. Tech came in with an attitude, so I left, and the receptionist had an attitude when I said why.Be cautious with these veterinarians that are owned by larger corporate entities. I’m sure it’s no fault of the staff before the acquisition), but being number driven rather than customer-driven in this profession isn’t what I look for in pet care.

Something to be aware of, that they do not disclose over the phone - they have Sunday hrs, but there is an additional $35 charge to come in on Sunday's.

First they denied the order to chewy, then i asked them to email me the prescription and they said they dont do any online order and I had to be in person to pick a prescription. I used to live in the boonies in Mississippi and the vet was more updated than these guys. So extremely inconvenient if you are not willing to do everything thru them while having to show up repeatedly to their office. We live in the digital age, for this to be a problem.

Having recently relocated to downtown Indy, we came to the them to provide palliative care while treating our 15 yo Westie. Nathan Bell: I created an appointment 16 hours before the appointment time. I could no longer make the appointment and I lost my deposit of $50 because i didn’t cancel with 24 hours notice. I was not told this when i made the deposit. I will never go back here.

What has impressed me the most with City Way Animal Clinic is receiving the follow-up emails and hand-written mail from the staff. It really shows they care for their patients. I've had appointments with both Dr. Bryan and Dr. Squiers; both veterinarians were exceptionally helpful! emma M: As much as I can appreciate the work the team does here, there are practices that hinder clients and vets from being able to get care they need in a humane way. Forcing people to wait for over an hour before they can check in because you don't want other people to have time to eat is just rude and time consuming. You should be able to check in upon arrival regardless of when lunch is. I am actively watching it take over an hour for 20+ people who have all been here since noon (before the team goes on lunch). You can not tell me that getting people checked in for the afternoon list up to lunch would not save time for when you get back from lunch. Again. I appreciate the work done, but this is a disrespectful waste of everyone's time

James Farris: Staff was very friendly, part of why my late mother loved this place. Took one of her babies in to be laid to rest as she was in pain from cancer and probably some heart issues. And it was to much for me to bare so they stayed with Cuddles the entire time as I just couldn't do it. The price was the best price in town along with the choices they gave you for the ashes to be put in. I wanna personally thank the staff for their help and assistance in this hard time. ❤😥🙏

Jacob Hash: I took a cat dying of kidney failure, and a dog dying of heart worms for end of life care here. They were so good to us, and helped us get extra time with our pets. When the time came they were so helpful and caring that I recommend them to everyone. It's a extremely busy place so you should plan to get there as early as possible, and plan to spend at least 4 hours there.

Shannon Roddy: I’ve been coming to this clinic for almost 3 years. I’d give it 5 stars but the last visit, gets 3. The wait is long but it’s cost efficient. $35 to see a doctor. Mondays and Friday’s are the busiest so get there as early as 7:00 -7:30 am. The office people are cool, BUT, I’m not a fan of the male doctor there. He’s not the friendliest guy, not very gentle with the animals, and will not even TRY to calm you cat down if they hiss. I was recently there to get both of my cats looked at. After waiting for over an hour and 15 minutes, after waiting an hour in my car, he comes in and barely looks at my cat because she hissed. He literally said, “I’m not going to be able to look at her if she’s acting like that”, he left out the room and sent in a tech named Holly who was AMAZING. She was way more helpful then him. She calmed my cats down and they even let her touch them. She gave great advice too. He just came in after her, and tried to give his 2 cents and prescribed a $30 medicine and left back out. There use to be a female doctor and she was amazing. I miss her energy so much. But yeah, I’m not sure I’m going back there or not. I don’t have time to be waiting 2 hours for a doctor to be scared of doing what they are suppose to do. You have a great clinic, ditch that doctor and hire one who actually cares about the animals when they are stressed out.

Daniel Smedema: Excellent care from caring people. My dog can be reactive and lash out, but they've worked with me to figure out how best to get his needed care without stressing him out. I've had at least three different veterinarians over various appointments, and all have been great.They also do a pretty good job of helping you understand what you can do to save money, like telling you about rebates on the meds you're getting, having a rewards program, etc.I typically go to this location as it's the nearest to me, but I've been to the Irvington and downtown locations as well. The fact they have multiple locations is great if you need to schedule something for a more specific time. Many of the vets and possibly other staff work at different locations on different days, so you're getting the same great service no matter which you go to.

The vet techs checked for a chip, helped me understand what to do next as I'd never found a stray in Indy before, and allowed me to call with countless questions as we ended up fostering the pup for a couple weeks. Alli eli: Extremely disappointed by the staff. I called to make an appointment for my male cat who having urinary issues. Instead of scheduling me and advising I find something sooner than weeks out they told me as long as he’s eating and drinking he would be fine. Fast forward a few days and I had to rush my cat to the ER (male urinary issues are actually a big deal). I would’ve appreciated a simple “we can schedule you but you should find somewhere that can take you in sooner because this is commonly a severe issue”. Because of this I wasted the deposit and thousands of dollars on my cat which could’ve been saved had I gotten him in somewhere soon.

Sucharitha Bose: Largely negative experience here. Established care for my dog at this facility after moving to the area. I have been unhappy with City Way Fall Creek since our visit. With a pandemic dog, I only have had previous curbside visits, so I wasn't sure if I was just overreacting. I didn't realize exactly how poor the quality of care was here until I established care somewhere else this week and saw the drastic difference in person.Pros:- Receptionist and MA(Mari) very nice and friendly- Price is reasonable- Mari was knowledgable- Facilities are nice and there are many locations, but I've only been to this one- easy to get an appointmentCons:- Dr. Smith blew off a few concerns I brought to her. For example, she blew off some new incontinence my dog was experiencing as normal behavior and incorrectly documented the circumstances of the episodes as to minimize the concern. We kept going in circles when I would say these new episodes are NOT due to excitement, and she yet would conclude that it was probably just due to excitement. This week I transferred care to another vet and saw the records, that she had documented incorrectly seemingly as to protect herself. The new vet addressed it and I clarified what I actually had said to Dr. Smith and addressed the concern appropriately- I feel like I kept having to chase them down for baseline care. At the same visit as above, they said everything was fine, no changes. I go home and see on the bill that there is a diagnosis code for my dog being overweight and I wonder if this is a typo. I then have to play phone tag with them and to confirm this is actually a concern that they neglected to tell me. Mari emails me "I got your message regarding your concern's for Muggsy's weight," when it actually should have been an apology for failing to relay this info. It was followed by a long actionable email of next steps...things I wouldn't have known if I didn't chase them down- I called about three months ago about another concern to see if it warrants an appointment. The receptionist said it does not sound concerning and does not seem to warrant an appointment, but if I would like more reassurance, the vet would call me back in 48-72 hours to discuss. I said sure, and it has been over 3 months and no one called me. In comparison, the new vet I saw this week combed through his records and addressed it immediately. It was something that apparently did warrant a discussion with the vet and she gave me advice for the concern and the concerning issue has since already stopped.- They dont use Chewy stating that they aren't vet owned, so they won't work with them and instead have their own online pharmacy. Fine, but their pharmacy is more expensive, 6 months of heartgard and nexgard was going to cost almost $100 more through them. The process of continuing to use chewy through them was a bit of a headache. I had to chase them down for a written prescription to be done with a few phone calls. They refuse to send it electronically or physically to Chewy and I had to go pick it up physically to then mail it to chewy.- Mari the MA did all the patient education, not the vet. After the short physical exam, I didn't see the vet. Mari is the one who discussed next steps. Mari is also the one who had to email me to relay the diagnosis that wasn't discussed with me. The vet we used before was very thorough with patient education but I thought maybe she was the exception but then I established with another vet this week and she also was very thorough with the education/next steps. Would appreciate education from the vet instead- the exam the vet performed wasn't thorough. This was a yearly exam and she didn't look in his ears and barely at his teeth. My dog has a few chipped teeth that we are supposed to keep an eye on and I mentioned that, but she barely looked at them and didn't comment on the teeth at all. Again, only after establishing with this new vet this week and seeing how thoroughly she examined him, was it obvious how lacking the exam was here.

She always makes sure my old lab has a room with a mat so he doesn’t slip, and loves on him every time we walk in. Dr. Smith takes the time to give a personal phone call with lab results and will always take the extra time to answer all of my (many) questions

Donnie D.: The girlfriend took one of our dogs in here recently for a scheduled appointment regarding a UTI. They proceeded to upsell and throw everything in the book in terms of vaccines, meds, and dental surgery. Not properly explaining what we would ultimately be paying for, ended up with a bill that was close to $800! On top of that, they never ended up even getting the urine sample to be able to test for the UTI, which was the only reason we had came there in the first place. Our dog had its 3 year rabies vaccine from the same City Way chain last year (twice in the same day...another story) and they continued to charge us for that this visit. It's been the same story for this company either place we try to go to. Will be looking for a new vet and open to suggestions.

Madeline Willis: We have been taking our dog to this business for the past four years and haven’t been overly thrilled about the service that we got… I had an appointment to take my dog for his yearly check up at 3:20 today. When I got there I was told that the appointment was at 3 PM and that I was late and couldn’t be seen. I showed them the confirmation voicemail that I had stating that the appointment was at 3:20. The front office staff was very kind and took my phone back to the vet to show them that I had the confirmation for 3:20 and that it was a mess up on their side. I could hear the vet in the back saying how she would have no time and that it would be rushed if she could do it and it would have to be in the lobby. It was very unprofessional. The front office assistant came back to relay the message (even though I could her the vet yelling about it in the back), but then the vet tech came around again and said never mind that my dog couldn’t be seen at all today. I took half a day off work and drove my poor scared dog all the way to the vets office and was on time for my appointment, only to be turned away because of an error on their side. I will never be back to this business and I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere!!

Hannah Myers: I’m giving three stars because I love everyone who works here. They’re all very kind and want the best for your pets. It’s conveniently close to my house. They offer beverages too which is something I’ve never been given at a vet clinic, which may be some of the cost for going here. My issue is the cost. I’ve been to multiple vet clinics, even in different states and I’ve never seen prices like this. The first visit, including office visit, vaccinations and blood work for potentially getting my dog neutered was almost $400. They estimated neuter and dental cleaning to be between $761 and $1200 for a 9 lb dog. Though it’s exceptional care, it’s nowhere near my budget.

Anita Thurston: They are closer to my house. Once I got into the vet the place is so clean, very courteous, and extremely thorough. I received great assistance for my aggressive cat. And found out what's wrong with my other cat - teeth issues. I don't like the centralized call customer service center. However if you are at the vet you can press 1 and it will get you to your vet's office. Let me say again, this vet was very very clean!!!

Sess Eka: Giving 4 stars because the staff is really nice and 5 stars for them only. 2 or 3 stars for everything else.Anyway, like many others say, it seems like prices are a little gouged. For example, the case of 24 prescription food cost me $84 at my cat's visit, but when I ordered it online from their own pharmacy service, it cost me $61. Why charge over $20 extra? Is it because you know owners will pay extra to immediately get their pet care? This rubbed me the wrong way.After my pet's visit, my cat was throwing up occasionally and having runny stool. I read the directions of the medication he was given and it said to call the vet immediately if this happened. I tried calling and calling and Indy Paws would not answer their phone. I tried the text service but it was hours before I even got a response that they were looking into it. I waited all day about 7 hours and had to check in because it was 4pm on a Friday and I didn't want to go all weekend without an answer. They finally got back to me and told me not to give that final dose I was asking about.The exam room we were in had crusted blood and/or urine on the floor for my last visit. I used to volunteer at a vet and this just isn't acceptable imho.The overall look of Indy Paws could be a lot more inviting. Sure, this is an aesthetic thing and I'm a designer but I've been to a lot of vet offices that are way nicer for the same cost. I take my cat to this one because it's close and I don't want to stress him out with a longer drive.

Amber Gerkin: I highly recommend this place I had an emergency with my dog they got me in there within an hour they showed the utmost concern with my dog and took my feelings into consideration I was concerned with how much it may cost to get my dog into the vet with very short notice but they were very cost-effective definitely didn't break the bank I thank you very much for the services you provided for my dog and the care and support that was also provided

Kerry Little: I am so happy I found Indy Paws. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable and cared for. The staff got me and my sick cat, Luna, into a room very quickly and the assistant came in and took all of our information. Dr. McGovern came in soon after and assessed Lunas issues and answered all of my questions and concerns. She explained the best course of action and asked if I was ok with the plan and if I had any other questions. She provided everything I needed to care for Luna and we were on our way. She called a few days later with bloodwork results and asked if there were any more questions. At that point Luna was already so much better and well on her way to what has been a great recovery. My initial call to Indy paws was to inquire about euthanasia services, but thankfully Dr. McGovern's assessment and course of treatment has given her back her health. We will absolutely be visiting Indy Paws many times in the future for the continued care of our pets. Thank you so much!

Katrina Perry: I cannot say just how wonderful this place is. All of the people are lovely, and I have never felt like my cat was in better hands. I came in accidentally the wrong day (totally due to my error as I was freaking out about my cat who had serious problems) and they made a little time to see her anyway 😭 Spot came back from a blood and urine draw relaxed! That's never ever happened with my elderly girl, especially when she's in the kind of pain she's in. I hope they never close down because they have earned patients for life. You won't regret trusting them with your animals.

Kaitlyn Crawford: I wouldn’t take your pet here if their life depended on it. They don’t return calls or answer their phones. They have a line you can text and they say they’ll get back with you and don’t. I took my dog here to get vaccines and he stopped eating, drinking, and started vomiting- days after his vaccine and his symptoms just got worse. I called and they claimed his actions were normal. However, something didn’t set right with me so I called other vets to get an opinion, and they all said his symptoms were not normal for the vaccine he received at all. He has an appointment at a different vet tomorrow to get blood work done to see what’s causing his symptoms.

Joe .Halstead: I took my 11-12 yo WGSD to this guy to have his guts checked out.Doc didn’t even touch him in my presence, and idk if his guts were palpated.This was maybe 5wks ago.This guy said he was fine and this guy claimed he wasn’t aware that GSD’s are prone to digestive tract cancers.I’m not a dr but I’ve owned 3 GSD’s and all 3 died this way; my ex was the town vet in a city just west of Indy, when this city’s police GSD’s tumor ruptured they came to our house in the middle of the night and doc couldn’t do anything for the K9.My dog had numerous tumors inside and this guy would’ve caught this 5weeks ago if he’d given me the option for an X-ray.

My Pitt Bull was a patient at Churchman, he had been since his puppy exam and shots. By 2 years old this vet told me my dog is "dangerous". Now he is the only vet my dog had seen. I've taken him for shots, yearly exams and he has ear issues so he's been a few times for that. Now if this vet can't handle him after being his vet for 2 years YOU SHOULDNT BE A VETERAN!!!
