Samuel Jones: How is this ranked good? The food quality is a travesty. The chicken fried rice I ordered look like Elizabeth Taylor cleopatras when we all knew it should have been Pam Grier. Cole Stewart: When you first walk into the restaurant, you do a double take and make sure you're in the right place. "What's that smell?" you ask your partner. They reply "what smell?" "Exactly!" The restaurant is strangely devoid of all odors, unless you venture towards the bathroom, almost like the kitchen is in some sort of pocket dimension.As you are seated in the Bob Evans style dining room, and given a menu, you look at the extensive options, well over 140, but realize that some of the options are sharpied out. With choices made, you await your meal. Food comes out, still no scent, and it surprisingly is not that bad considering the environment you find yourself in.Overall, slightly slow service, weird odorless food, but with the proper companion your meal will not be an absolute bust. Just be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait.

Never had a bland Brisk tea ever before until I came here.The waiter girl was talking to me and I caught her breath. Sht stank like she been eating onions or something.Got food told them to label it and she did…still put rice noodles in wrong container.Didnt even take me 10 mins fo get home. Emmaline Moore: Wow, very disappointing experience. Does not match what the other ratings say at all. The first waitress struggled to understand us and the second one was very huffy and rude when I pointed out my order was completely wrong. I had to convince them it was wrong (according to their own menu for heaven's sake) then I was given a "fixed" order with a significantly smaller portion size, probably out of spite. Food was really average.

Blanca Jacone: I am aware that this restaurant has new owners and they have updated the seating & painted the exterior so it looks nicer. However, the food is subpar. I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and quality of food that is now served. I didn’t even finish the meal bc it was so bad. I think spending over $40 for two meals and not being satisfied is truly an unfortunate experience to what used to be the best Vietnamese restaurant. Unfortunately, I will be taking my busn somewhere else and wish the best to the restaurant to stay alive with their subpar meals.
MRRE: Went with a group to dine in. Tried the crab rangoos, the #51 pho, and dumplings. The food was delicious. The only reason I would not give it a higher rating is because while we were eating we saw multiple little cockroaches on our table. Definitely gets rid of your appetite because you start seeing them everywhere on the table and walls. I know it is under a new owner now so hopefully they fix this.

Antoine Carrico: Honestly... this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever had the displeasure of visiting.Our waitress was rude. She only asked one of us what we wanted to drink, and brought us all the same drinks. She barely said a word to any of the other tables she waited on. I watched her roll her eyes while walking away from another customer's table.The food is trash as well. Bland and flavorless at best and disgusting as a whole. The pho was made with instant broth mix (the same you can get at Saraga for a few bucks) instead cooking it the proper way. I barely made a dent in my bowl before I let the other waiter take it (he was rude as well)Honestly, I'd be shocked if this place stays open much longer. They're riding off of the legacy of the previous (superior) owners and frankly, they don't seem even remotely interested in providing a good meal/service to their customers. I'm not saying they need to clap every time we take a bite, but don't treat us with contempt either!

Jason Collins: Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very impressed. I have enjoyed Vietnamese cuisine for many years, and this restaurant did not disappoint. Summer rolls with shrimp and pork were freshly made, and the seafood egg noodle soup was hearty and served in a rich and flavorful broth. Their version of Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk is also a must.
William Deakin: This is easily the best Chinese/Vietnamese/Japanese restaurant I've had since moving to Indiana. I am a HUGE fan of oriental cuisine and have tried most of the Chinese etc. restaurants in the Phoenix metro area. The Crab Rangoons had an amazing flavor profile and substantially more and larger pieces of crab than any places I've been. I got the General Tso's chicken, which is a lot more similar to Orange Chicken but still amazing. Had a decent bite to it though, so if you don't care for that make sure to order it not spicy. My wife got the Katsudon which was also outstanding with a really soft texture. Our mother in law ordered the Shrimp Tempura which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. 100% recommend this to anyone who is a fan of oriental cuisine.Vegetarian options: They had various vegetarian options for people who want/need those.
Mark L: Hidden gem in Indianapolis. One of the few restaurants that actually has vegetarian pho (vegetarian soup base does not use beef stock). Never disappoints with quality of food.
Twon Is Twon: Pho broth is great, not the best ever but the new fav since saigon changed ownership, best Ive had for the west side of indy. Service is standard, not exceptional but not bad. The place is clean. Tried the summer rolls and they were alright, a little above average. When I eat here I come for Pho, and I get the hot tea (jasmine green).

Caleb: Staff is rude and closes earlier than their posted hours. This is the second time we’ve been turned away. The first time we arrived at 7:30 on Sunday thinking they were open until 9 but turns out it was 8, fair enough we assumed wrong, but they said they were closed even though there was around 5 tables inside, again this was a half an hour before they closed. We let it slide, usually we wouldn’t go out 30 mins before close. But then today we got there at 7:15 and the same thing happened. This time we walked in, there’s plenty of tables still eating, and as we’re approaching the counter the guy literally wags his finer at us to indicate they’re closed… like guys you’re closing at 7:15 on a weekend night when you’re busy? I can maybe understand if you’ve been slow for an hour or something so you shut down. But they just wanted to stop taking tables so they could leave early. Sorry for the rant but so rude to wag your finger and waste people’s time when they’re trying to support your restaurant. Went down to Thai Orchid and they were really nice and food was great.EDIT: Just want to add in case the owner reads these. Your food is good. Don’t lose customers over bad service and lazy employees. Reading through your reviews it seems almost all of the bad reviews are relating to the service. If I owned a restaurant and found out one of my employees waged a finger at a customer and told them they were closed 45 mins ahead of time they’d be fired. But here they seem pretty comfortable turning away business for their own benefit instead of the restaurants.

Brad Zachary: It's been open for a long time. Today I visited and ate Pho and crab Rangoon. It was good... the Pho was good. The service was good. It is in need of some work though. The walls need paint in a few places. The chair was sticky as I pulled it out from the table. The restroom was clean. The TV playing kept going off and on. So... no you don't go to watch TV, however the thing playing caught my attention as I was alone and the only person eating. So that wasn't great and has been a problem since I've been going, which is about 5 years now. There are better places to eat Pho now that I've gotten around and tried others.

Graham Meinert: The pho was not everything I had hoped for. The beef, basil, bean sprouts and peppers were all perfectly fine but the broth was not quite as rich as I was expecting. The Vietnamese coffee was outstanding though. The service was quick and friendly and it was quite affordable.

Peter Chojnowski: The food was bad and the service was worse. They messed up my order(shrimp instead of tofu) then wanted to charge for a replacement. When I got the replacement the food was completely bland. Tasteless sauce that was runny and didn't even coat the vegetables. Not even salt. The only reason they have 2 stars is that to vegetables had a nice cook on them and the lack of flavor also probably means they did not have msg. But the good cook and poor seasoning highlighted the cheap ingredients. Never again.

Kayla Washington: One of the most delicious flavorful beef bone broths I've tasted! My mom had the veggie pho and again the broth was full of depth. Our server was great, everyone we interacted with was kind. We also had veggie egg rolls that were fresh and crispy. The atmosphere was very clean inside as well, we will be back for more!

Jared H: Pho was ok. Kapoon is what I got which is pork belly. There wasn't enough pork belly in it imo. There was supposed to be a mix of crispy fried pork belly and then stewed pork belly. I liked the texture of the fried, there just wasn't enough of it. My son got the chicken Pho. It was decent, I think his has a richer better broth to it. Needed more lime and cilantro, as well as meat. We also got a beef Banh Mi sandwich which was pretty good but very small. Added the hoison sauce to it, and it really brought the flavor levels up. Also added chili oil and peppers they have on the table to the Pho which added another level to it. I am not a Pho connoisseur by any means, but it was overall ok food imo.And I see a lot of people complaining of service, they must've addressed this because we had no issues. Would possibly go back to try other dishes.
Erika Moorman: Food was good. Waitress was no good lmaooo. She never came to check on us and spent the majority of her time at the register staring into space. Then she got into her car and left without even giving us our check, let alone a refill. It was just bizarre. Will be back of course food is superb, they should work on their wait staff tho. Ryan Farrell: The pho and spring rolls are delicious, but the service is absolutely terrible. The owner is in desperate need of more staff. The server (whom I believe is the owner/manager) was in such a hurry, she literally threw the food and drinks down on the table and ran off. We never received any napkins or utensils, so my wife snagged everything we needed off the server station. Do not come here if you don’t have at least an hour plus to spend. If I could rate the place for food alone, it would receive five stars. Unfortunately, the service needs to drastically improve before I can go above three stars.
Madi Correy: Would give 0 stars if I could due to the service. Pho was average but the service was horrendous. The two girls serving us were staring us down from the kitchen area and being obnoxious. Whenever they came to our table, they were both laughing so hard when there was nothing comical about the situation and it made us feel super uncomfortable. They rushed us with our bill and kept coming to the table to ask if they could take the tab when we weren’t even halfway done eating. When we said we weren’t ready yet, the server turned around and started mocking us to the girl in the kitchen area. On our way out, they yelled “have a great night!” In a rude tone and hadn’t done that to any other customer walking out. It seemed like their jobs were a joke to them and it was a super uncomfortable experience. The two girls serving us were clearly judging us and were flat out rude while we were polite and respectful customers. We will never be coming to this business again and I highly recommend that you don’t either unless you like being laughed at and mocked by the employees. The vibe in this restaurant was horrible and those who take the time and spend the money to go out to eat should be treated with some decency and respect. I cannot believe people who work in the service industry and work for tips would behave this way to customers.

Alex: This has to be the most underrated restaurant in the area. I say this because it doesn’t get as full as I think it should based on the amazing food they have. I have been here so many times and it’s always so good! I always get that beef Pho and the mango smoothie. Today I had the pork banh mi and it was amazing. Highly recommended spot for lunch!
