Kadampa Meditation Center Indianapolis: what do users think?
Alexis el nene: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
DeVona Lahrman: Find your laughing Buddha here!
Scott Trout: Services are in English, except for the use of Sanskrit mantras. The Teacher and congregation are very friendly.
Amy: I've attended weekend workshops at the Castleton location and meditation classes at various locations and have always had a rewarding experience.Wonderful, welcoming teachers and staff.
Erin West: Beautiful welcoming place.
Hillary Wilmer: I attended the 'COMMENTARY AND PRACTICE OF THE 35 CONFESSION BUDDHAS'. I am so glad I went. This was a great session. The presentation was easy to follow and relevant to anyone. Gen Dorje incorporated humor which added such a warmth to the atmosphere. This location isn't on my side of town but I will travel out there again.
Rj: Peaceful
Brad: This place is wonderful. If you plan to attend regularly become a member it's a no brainer. They offer some free classes but normally expect to pay $12. Really great people here.
Ingrid Upchurch: Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. If you are looking for a good place to attend guided meditation or learn about Buddhism. This is a great place to go.
Tyler Ring: This is a great place to go to help me keep my focus on growing & expanding spiritually. It’s a modern zen center, with a Buddhist monk that makes you feel right at home here! I’m so glad I found this place. I love it...
Michele Greenan: A wonderful place to go. Great people, great atmosphere - so welcoming!
Jenny Owens-Cripe: The people at this center are very welcoming. Each time I walk in I can't help but feel peace & happiness & I just smile! I love it here!
S Vlogs: Love the center and the people! The teachers are authentic and the classes are plentiful. We are so fortunate to have such a great place to come together and practice pure Dharma. I feel like the teachings have made a huge impact on my life. I highly recommend the center to anyone interested in creating a better life for themselves!
Tracey Van Gundy: The most fulfilling and peaceful days of my life are often spent here at KMC Indianapolis. I began coming two years ago, originally driving almost an hour and a half to get here. I have since moved into Indianapolis, and am now very active with the center, and even teach a weekly class on Sunday mornings. The warm and friendly atmosphere, the beauty of the teachings, and the sincerity of the practitioners made my move to a new city feel like coming home for this country girl.
Gen Wangden: DKBC is a wonderful place to go, whether you are just wanting to relax, or you are interested in the Buddhist Path.
Will Smith: Dromtonpa was a famous Buddhist practitioner and teacher of great purity in Tibet around 900 years ago. Dromtonpa was a little unusual in the he was a lay practitioner - he was not an ordained monk. Our teacher, Mandy Vickery, is also a lay practitioner and has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Her kindness, caring, warm heart as well as her wit and wisdom make her a very practical and approachable teacher indeed.Dromtonpa Center has been named after this particular practitioner by Geshe Kelsang to emphasize the Kadampa teachings; teachings of great purity which are easy to put into practice and give great results very quickly, especially with our busy modern lives.Dromtonpa Center has a very relaxed atmosphere. Most of the classes and prayers are drop-in. Most are part of a series yet are presented to stand alone as personal advice. This advice has improved my life and happiness immensely. Every year I see my Sangha friends become happier and have more personal power - this is the real deal. If you are looking for authentic Buddhist teachings or just to become a happier person and improve your relationships etc. then find a class online and/or call and just drop-in. Don't worry, it won't be weird, I promise!Meditation gives great results for Buddhist and non-Buddhists alike. Everybody welcome.

Santosha School: what do users think?
Adriane Suder: I met with Pierre for an Ayurvedic consult and had a wonderful experience! I felt very seen and welcome. He was a great listener and provided a wealth of information that felt very specific to me. After our consult he also provided a summary of our meeting with his suggestions and other resources. He's been very easy to communicate with and responsive. I will definitely continue meeting with him!
Narasimha Reddy: Great place
Leanne Abramo: It's been a great experience. I love that it's not just about the physical exercise. Each class incorporates mindfulness and meditation. The teachers really help guide a novice student. It's been very welcoming! It's also easy to schedule online.
T: I have never felt so welcomed at a yoga studio before! The moment I walked in the door I felt at home.I have been an inconsistent yogi for over twenty years, taking classes here and there. I'm not flexible and forty-five years old. I've always felt a little out of place at yoga studios. I have never felt that way at Santosha! The teachers are kind, patient and non-judgemental. They offer so many classes and lots of other services/products as well. This place is the real deal, such good energy! Try it, you won't regret it!
Max Williams: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityShiela is a great massage therapist. She is very capable in analyzing imbalances and doing what it takes to correct them. She is a great asset to me as I continue to be a runner late in life.
Shona Craig: I am a physical therapist and yoga teacher. I did some yoga and Ayurveda training with Pierre in Richland, WA. He and Santosha School offers some of the best and most authentic trainings around - life changing, really. I am forever grateful.
Linda M Marler: When I recently broke my radius , I practiced the relaxation techniques (esp. "alternate nostril breathing") that I learned in yoga, both in the ER and after surgery. I was able to manage the pain without drugs! My thanks to Santosha and my wonderful instructors, Sheila and Jo! And, I'm so glad to be back!
Tracey Burton: Great 1st experience!! Had a private session with Kathy and she was amazing! Would definitely recommend!!
T Ruth: The best yoga studio in Indy!! The teachers are all very welcoming, encouraging and knowledgeable. Everybody from beginner to advanced yogi will love this place!
Kit Palanca-Beveridge: I’m so happy I decided to have our surprise office Christmas party activity here. I brought a staff of 12 people and ALL enjoyed the YOGA AND THAI-YOGA MASSAGE experience tremendously. I especially enjoyed the personalized attention and care that Kathy Busso did from the very first time I spoke to her. She was very attentive and helpful and kept in touch with me so well throughout the process. The activity space was just perfect- both spacious and serene/inviting. Kathy and her girls provided the best Thai-Yoga massages. Kathy is just a wonderful person and I intend to continue seeing her for regular yoga and massage and I can’t wait to share my experience with my entire family. Thank you so much!
Valerie Yeager: I've been having bodywork at Santosha with Shelia and I'm so thankful that a friend connected me with her! She's really gifted and her knowledge and holistic approach to the body is exactly what I was hoping to find after moving to Indianapolis. Indy is lucky to have someone like Shelia and the expertise she provides in Ayruveda at the Santosha School.
Julie Guenther: Santosha is a beautiful shala! From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Everyone I have met is very friendly and welcoming! Truly a beautiful atmosphere! I am so glad to be a part of the wonderful yoga community here!
Bianca Smith-Benedict: What a beautiful facility. Amazing teachers and such friendly caring people. I love taking yoga classes here.
Jay Wehmeier: I am in yoga teacher training and learning more than I planned on. My teachers are TOP NOTCH and concerned and helpful. The studies are wide ranging. Not just the poses, but much much more. You are welcome any Wednesday night for ($5.00) community class, at 6:00 PM. Join our yoga class and watch the teacher trainees as their skills grow. Stay afterwards as the teacher trainees evaluate the teaching experience. Peace and Love Jayw
Dawn B: Sheila is a wonderful massage therapist!
Yvonne Noland: I've been fortunate enough to watch the studio grow over the years and every year the community and teachers keep getting better!
Dan & Melissa Moran: Starting yoga well into my 40's wasn't easy: there were many tangles and kinks to work out, physically and otherwise. Santosha School has been a welcoming place to roll out my mat and work through it all, guided and encouraged by some of the most experienced and caring souls I know. After several years of practice here, I enrolled in the teacher training program and am now growing my practice in another way. I feel so much better - physically, mentally and spiritually. And now my family has joined in the yoga goodness too!
Essence Mack: I have been attending classes at Santosha for nearly a year and can say the classes and community are such a beautiful presence in my life! It is such a warm and safe space to practice.
Brian Kent: I have been going to Santosha regularly for the past 6 weeks and I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. I'd never been to a yoga class in my life before walking in and noted the staff have been incredibly welcoming of practitioners of all abilities. The staff are extremely friendly/welcoming and have the ability to transfer their deep knowledge and understanding of yoga with humility. The school carries such a positive energy and has a feeling of entering an old friends household rather than a workout studio. Whether you're brand new yoga like me or deep into your practice, I'd highly recommend!
Yilin Liu-Leitke: Santosha is not just a yoga studio, it’s also a temple, a community, a peaceful place in the city.
Karma Hamm: Santosha is my favorite yoga studio in all of Indianapolis. There is a deep underlying current of tradition and spirituality and healthiness that is wonderfully balanced with the fun upbeat energy of the classes and teachers there. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I always feel I am exactly where I need to be when I am there and after class I am always glad I carved out time in my day for taking care of myself through yoga practice. I can't recommend Santosha enough for all levels of yogis. Also- massages with Shiela are other-worldly! :) She has a very intuitive gift and always knows exactly what my body needs to restore and relax.

Indiana Buddhist Center: what do users think?
Photogenic Ferrets: This has become one of my favorite places. ✌🏻💖
Kathy Brown: You will find kindness here and classes to help broaden one's mind. Down to earth and accessible. Good food too!
Winston Ty: I'm giving this place 1 star not out of aggravation but disappointment. I tried to connect to the beginners class on zoom and no one started the meeting. I've sent several emails asking about their practice and also why no one was conducting the zoom meeting and I have not recieved any responses. I've also left 2 messages by phone with no response at all. For all I know, this place is not currently operational, though I have seen nothing online that would suggest that. Its a pity, I wanted to study under a teacher and incorporate Buddhism into my own life.
Jason Rogers: Quiet but friendly neighbor's
sean: This temple was amazing and everyone should go to it.
jason mcdonald: Great place to learn Meditation in Indianapolis. The love and compassion from Geshe Jinpa Sonam, the authentic Tibetan Buddhist monk, is infectious. His humorous nature is also wonderful. May all beings benefit from this previous place.
Adreana Thomas: A place if piece, love, compassion, ect...I Love this place...I am learning a lot already..
Dezzy: This place helped me learn Buddha Dharma (Buddhism). It is a beacon of light and love in this age of darkness!
dbear: Beautiful location to meditate. Geshe-la is both hilarious and wise.
Christina Bobiles: Peaceful place to learn. Great people!
J Smith: Currently I have no review to give, just a message to pass. Into hoagland did arrive ...A monkey carrying a great message of importance did arrive into the foreign tribe with the message. The monkey understood this tribe to be nearly blind and so used simple vibrations to get their attention. The foreign tribe recognized the vibrations and were stunned and frightened and instead of listening to the message ran off the foreign monkey. The monkey is a man coming into other men, who are so blind and yet so simple, they have even in their blindness on the spot, banned simple monkey language. Awake to truth ... INTO YOUR TEMPLE DID ARRIVE ... a monkey with message of great important. And so was ejected this monkey. Let truth be spoken. Satnam.
ThienHuong Hoang: I'm a better human being today is due to my Teacher's kindness. Geshe-la Jinpa Sonam, please live a long live until samsara ends.
Susan Pahner: Will they take one back? Philip Pahner
Amanda Meko: I have been Buddhist for quite some time, but I've only ever practiced Zen. A good friend of mine invited me to IBC, and I must say these people are amazing. They were so kind and welcoming. I didn't know what I was doing but they guided me through it. I did not feel like an out case at all. Also, Geisha-la is very kind as well, he made us all tea, with a smile on his face the whole entire time. I highly recommend you check this center out, they are the best Buddhist place I have been to so far! I will be returning every Saturday.
Justin Wilhere: Wonderful teacher and supportive sangha.

Yesterday, I was around someone whom I am around frequently and they said "you have amazing energy". Note - TM is not affiliated with any specific religion. It is about connecting - letting go - mind & body.
