    4worldlovers: Most people would say the Peace Wate Winery story is pretty crazy. We guess any story that includes 8 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, a cow, basketball, soccer, a 1966 Volkswagen 21 window "hippie van" and a double chocolate chip frappuccino would be considered crazy by most. However, we do not think the idea that inspired our project is all that crazy:

    Simple acts of kindness can have a ripple effect that can help change the world.

    So while our family is large our vision is larger. When you drink our wine you are supporting charities here and across the world. Thank you for helping us make this world a more peaceful place, one bottle at a time.

    As Indiana's only locally-owned California winery, we handcraft our wines in the heart of one of the world's best wine-growing regions, Napa Valley. Why California? First, it's groovy so we naturally dig it, and second, the wines from there are simply awesome!

    Stephen Bradley: Nice out of the way winery. Good wine too.The only reason for the 4 stars is the neighborhood. The facility itself is great and I do recommend going there. Wen enjoy small wineries and the atmosphere they have.
    Douglas Pond: It's great having a nice winery in the neighborhood! They have grown from a small mom and pop business into a growing local enterprise producing a surprising variety of wines. Their downtown winery shop is really cool and well worth your time. Bonus... Free local jazz on Saturday afternoons.

Ellie and Alyssa made the day progress seamlessly, and the Juniper Spoon Catering- wow! Outstanding! From the first day we met with John until the moment we left the wedding, the staff was attentive, communication was great, and all the needs of the bride and groom were met. What a beautiful venue and unforgettable experience! Thank you to all at Neidhammer!
    Erin Linscott: Absolutely beautiful space. Very little decorations are needed since it has its own vibe. We were able to bring in our own food and photographers. The employees are easy to work with and quick to respond. They get the venue looking perfectly and helped with cleaning trash off tables during the reception. Highly recommend using their in house DJ. He made it so easy to have the perfect music and times it perfectly. They do an amazing job making sure that your day is exactly how you want it. Highly recommend.

    4worldlovers: From 1991 until 2006, our Owner and Vintner Jeff Durm grew grapes, sold grapes, and made wine in his basement. In April of 2006 we opened our doors to the public and began to share his efforts with the world. We've won 148 Medals at the Indy International Wine Competition along with numerous other awards.

    We have been growing grapes in Marion County for over 25 years. With almost 3,000 grapevines on 4 1/2 acres of land, we have the only commercial vineyard in Indianapolis. Most of the vines are from the original planting in 1991 and serve as the backbone of our award-winning production.

    Chad Worsham: This was our first visit. Honestly, we just stopped in for a rest break, but after seeing their selection we decided to stay for a tasting. And I'm glad we did because my wife found several that she liked (on the sweeter side) and I found one that I liked, too (dry). It's been our experience that wineries don't do both sweet and dry well, usually just one or the other, so this was a pleasant surprise. Also, the sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the winery.I know the wine is the main attraction at any good winery, but I knocked of one star because the setting was on the bland side. Don’t misunderstand me, we’ve been to dozens of beautiful and extravagant wineries that offered terrible wines, but the atmosphere does have a part to play.
