Peace Water Winery: what do users think?
Meredith Blakey: Popped into Peace Water for a post-lunch wine flight. The space is very cute and open. The prices are great and there's a good selection of wines. This was my first time here, and I was surpised that there were just 1-2 groups including mine during our visit. There was only one employee, which made sense for the amount of business, but they weren't the most attentive. They were sitting in a corner booth at a laptop for most of our visit, and didn't seem very observant when new customers arrived. They also didn't offer any recommendations after finding out this was our first time here, instead, simply explained that they offer glasses, tastings, and flights and that one wine could be subbed for a flight. I would have liked some additional info, but that's not the end of the world and we of course still enjoyed our time.I enjoyed all my wines, but didn't love the one I subbed--should've stuck with the original! The tipping buckets for various charities are a really nice touch.
Katherine Kapustka: It was just me and the staff member on a quiet and cold Friday. She was very knowledgeable about the wines, and pleasant to chat with as well. There was a good mix of sweeter and drier wines. The charitable focus is an added benefit. When my travels have me back in Indianapolis, I look forward to returning.
Warren Reed: I just love this place and the wine is fantastic!
James Goalder: Great service, wine was very good, enjoyable experience.
Dorothy Loslo: We had a fantastic time at a wine tasting. Everything was perfect!
Austin Mills: Amazing atmosphere here! All of the wines are dry, so if that's your style it's perfect! We had the one Sweet wine they had and it was delicious, and a bit higher in alcohol content.
Hannah Petko-Bunney: Our server (Katie) was so welcoming and super knowledgeable about the wine selection. We stopped here by happenstance after getting a flat tire and were blown away by the atmosphere and service. Will visit again!!!
Tommy Woodson: Kind and nice the ladies were helpful and a joy to be around. Not for sweet and wet wine fans.
Steve Pressnell: Super cute, friendly staff, clean, and very good wine. Hope to be back!
Buffie Crye: Went for a special event, stayed for more wine!
Thomas Lynn: Ok but NOT local
Kelsey Rice: Katie served us. She was super fun and knowledgeable about all the wines we tried. We had a great time!
Liz Escoffery: Had a delightful date night here doing the wine tasting! I didn’t have a single bad wine, my favorite was the Sublime Pinot Noir. Great atmosphere and waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back!!!
Heather Riggs: I was traveling through Indianapolis, specifically in the Hendrick-Bates neighborhood, and decided to drive the mile or so to Peace Water Winery on Mass Ave. All of their red wines sounded amazing, but I went for what I know I like and ordered a glass of the Cabernet Sauvignon. It was so delicious that I bought a bottle before I left. They have a small outdoor space where I read a book and enjoyed the warm weather. I love how they give back to the local community AND have quality non-fruity wines. If I lived locally it would probably be a staple for my husband and I!
Stefan Cooper: The wine is exceptional!!! nothing like the indiana sweet wines. Location is perfect right across from BottleWorks, all natural lighting, outdoor seating, and music is nice. Perfect spot to host parties, they even let you bring in outside food!!!
Morgan: It was louder in there than I had expected. This place also focuses on dry wines and does not have any sweet wines, which I was personally not a fan of. If you like dry wines this place would be great. It has a nice vibe and atmosphere as well. I would recommend looking at their little shop as well.
COCO Brogdon: With this cloud over the 🌎 this 🍷 tasting co is letting the world know we has New rules but please come out and enjoy your life aww social distance won't hender your outing
john wichman: Incredible staff. Atmosphere is great and the wines are delicious. We held a bridal shower there. The decor is fantastic for a boho shower.
Loriel White: Beautiful shop, great zin, and awesome experience. Jeff was knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. Highly recommend.
Tim Bailey: Very nice host
Indea Harris: Amazing atmosphere and super friendly staff. Felt very welcome the moment we walked in. The decor is so eclectic and nice with a very comfortable atmosphere. Wine was even better and worth it! Try the Rośe and the Bliss it was 👍🏽

Tastings - A Wine Experience: what do users think?
Hailey: I LOVED this place. Such a cool idea, you are able to pick and choose your tastings and size of pours. There were only two waitresses/bartenders, but they did a great job. We got there on a Saturday at 3, when they opened, and it was full by 4pm.
Mike Schwaller: Great service nice selection.
Paul Alvarez: Jay = Da Bomb
Joshua Ankney: Went for an unexpected night of fun. Great food, friendly staff, and lots of wine to try. Some of the wine is overpriced but… you’re paying for the experience
Aisha B: First time me and my partner ever had and it was amazing!!! Jay makes the best most entertaining drinks, the flavors mingle amazingly on the palette. Will definitely be returning!
b h: No wine cards 1 hour within closing . Pointless.
Jonathan Hoy: This place has a very well curated wine selection. Love the concept of creating your own flights with the automated pouring machines
John Christiansen: It says a wine experience and that you can do but for us it was more about the very incredible craft cocktail experience. Jay mixologist extraordinaire along with our server Quinton took us on a cocktail journey that will not be soon forgotten. Go here and be ready to have some fun!
V C: The bartender is excellent!!!!!
Tina Sink: My boyfriend and I went today, and we had never been. We did the wine sampling, and sat at the bar. Our bartender was absolutely amazing! Quinton was so helpful, kind, friendly, and funny! He absolutely deserves a raise and amazing tips!
Kat: Love this place! Staff very knowledgeable! Wine is awesome! We will make it a regular place when we visit Indy!
Erin Findley-Sykes: How do I even describe how wonderful of a time we had? I wish took pictures, but it was just such an immersive experience with our bartender, Jay, with mixed drinks I didn't. We celebrated the Queen, my likes, my birthday and everything in between. So much knowledge and an encyclopedia of information!
Carol Trautwein: Best service in Indianapolis!
kim elgarico: Such a cool venue. Good varieties for your palette from all over the world. Fair prices on the pour and a very knowledgeable bartender for cocktails. Charcuterie was on point and staff was very attentive as well.
Maggin: Love this style of wine tasting. Stations that let choose how much of a pour and the types of wines. The prepaid cards are genius!
J. Andrew Sinclair: We had an excelled time tonight. Quinton was our server. Highly recommended! We were unsure how to use the machines but Quinton helped so we were successfully succeeding. 😂 wasn’t my best phrase but entertaining. One of best servers I’ve ever had.
lynn bures: You can preload a wine tasting card and walk through the entire establishment tasting samples until you can't walk..There are 72 different bottles throughout our floor you can walk around with a glass and pour a 2, 4, or 6oz glass freely for yourself.A huge variety of region's, varietals, reds, whites, flavors, everything.Once you have made your selection you are welcome to sit down and enjoy a freshly popped bottle just for yourself or you can sit at the bar and enjoy specially mixed cocktails. One of the pluses about this establishment is that all of the art is the art is purchasible you can either take it with you or they can ship it to you.
greg Hopkins: While I know this is a wine place, the real Star is Jay. He makes the most amazing cocktails, with plenty of flavor and interesting information to go with them .
nancy overholtz: We had the best time celebrating my sweet friends birthday.
Dylan Keastead: Pricy, but good selection.
Monique Dye: Went with my bestie for her bday...chill spot. Wish I could remember my favorite red wine!

The wine maker Nicole is beyond amazing. She does just “make wine” she curates a sipping experience and an old school organic experience like never before. My favorites are Manifest, Gratitude, Love, Abundance and Intention (German style Riesling with a vegan twist, in a traditional blue bottle) ;-P and soooo delicious they all are.Oh and did I mention the amazing variety that come along with their Sip’speriences... let’s talk about wine and cigar pairings, musical pairings, diy events and tons more... all have been 1000% delightful.Yet, I’m just one person, one palate.Go check out my favorites and buy some for someone else and let your palate be the judge.Great people and greater wines!I am proud to be a fan of Sip & Share Wines.
Alana Simmons, Ph.D.: I had such a wonderful experience with the virtual wine tasting on 2/13/21! We sipped on four, vegan wines, listened to a curated playlist of multigenerational music that inspired the winemakers, and heard from members of Indy’s Urban League—The Exchange—regarding the work they do in the community. What a wonderful opportunity to engage with a Black winemaker and learn more about the wine tasting experience. Highly recommended and I will be participating in future events!!!
Jax: Enjoyed the Conjure Zin, and the local free deliver is a huge plus. Sent several to friends and colleagues as Christmas gifts, no complaints!

Tamara Nance: I won a gift certificate to try Sip and Share wines. For some reason the online code wasn't working so I emailed them about it. Without any questions they rectified the situation AND delivered a lovely bottle of their Reisling to my door step!I ordered the sampler and can't wait to try all of the wines so that I can pick a favorite! They've got a customer for life!
Queen Fancy: The ONLY wine I drink! Love and Awaken are my favorites! Mixed with some homemade lemonade... perfect for a summer day!
Jessica Robin Preddie: Professional, accommodating service and great wine!

Patrice Lyons: You must try this home made wine. Awesome taste if you're looking for a smooth flavored nice dry wine. It's classy and great for dinner. My sister and I loved it.

Kurt Schilling: We came to the winery mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Not crowded, they were hosting a Bridal shower in part of the facility. We choose a tasting, I went dry reds, Mistress chose sweet and dry Whites. The fellow who served us (Warren) was very, very knowledgeable about the wines. Turned out that he also worked the vineyard. The winery is locally owned and only does direct sales. I wholeheartedly recommend the Malbec and the Jefferson Estate Blend. Mistress sez the Steuben is wonderful. Entertainment is on Friday nights and most Saturdays feature live music. You can get snacks and cheese trays or you can bring your own goodies. There is a patio overlooking the onsite vineyard. Try it, you Will like it.

Hopwood Cellars Winery: what do users think?
Nancy Loy: Hands down the best winery around.🍷The Hopwood’s are hard working great people and we are glad to be able to call them our friends. Cheers 🍷🍷
Brittany Hopwood: It is a must stop whenever my boyfriend and I visit Indiana. We even bought some for his family, who absolutely love their wine. It is a beautiful hidden gem, that I have introduced to all my own family. They hold beautiful outings that really provide a more welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone willing to try a variety of unique wines.
Chad Musselman: Went on a Saturday late afternoon and wasn't very impressed. We got a tasting flight and the service wasn't what we thought it would be.We weren't asked what we liked or provided suggestions at all. We selected the winners on our own and did the tastings. We had to ask for water to rinse between tastings. We were done quickly and left since they didn't seem to interested.
John Noble: Zionsville! The best wine I have had. Great atmosphere. Ron is great and always inviting!
Kurt Schilling: We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon to check out the wines. The owner and wine maker greeted us as we came thru the door. Wine tastings come in two sizes of flights of four. We chose the petite size since I was driving. We also elected to get the meat and cheese platter to accompany our wines. The descriptions of the wine taste/flavours is awesomely accurate. You can stand at the bar or if you're lucky grab one of the tables. Please note that the tables and stools are just the right height to sit and sip the beverage of your choice. In addition to the wines, you can get a sample flight of Whisky. The mm ear and cheese tray was replete with Edam and Colby-Jack, crackers with spicy mustard and several kinds of sausages. Saturday afternoons feature live music. If there is a full crowd you may not hear much because of the small space through. But the wines are excellent. The welcome you get from the owners is great. We will likely be back for a lazy fall afternoon of tasting the good stuff!
Michael Fugate: My friend and I had a great experience tonight. We enjoyed a bourbon and whiskey flight, a glass of wine, warm bread and cheese. It was topped off by a jazz band, which was the perfect accompaniment.
Stephen Famolaro: Looking for a local winery and spirits stop...look no further.Awesome wine, bourbon and whiskey.Ron is the best!

Buck Creek Winery: what do users think?
Douglas Cox: I would like to compliment Buck Creek winery. It is a beautiful winery with stunning flavors and world-class wine. The grounds are immaculately kept, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a memorable wine tasting experience. Here are some other reasons why I think Bucks is a great winery:* The wine is excellent. Buck produces a variety of wines. All of their wines are highly rated by critics.* The setting is beautiful. The winery is located in a great spot. Easy access.* The tour is informative. The winery offers tours that give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the winemaking process.* The tasting is enjoyable. The winery offers a variety of tastings, so you can find one that suits your taste and budget.*The winery has a great selection of treats that pairs perfectly with their wines.Overall, I highly recommend Bucks to anyone looking for a great affordable wine tasting experience.
Tina Cox: This was a great tucked away gem!!! Midwest hospitality and great wine, an awesome combo. Such a down home and rich history totally adds to the charm of the winery 🍷🍷🍷
Indy Reviews: Wine tasting was excellent!
Kendra Darby: Lovely vineyard with great selections! The tasting was spectacular! Such a fun place to stop in. Highly recommend the Autumn Blush!
Ben Johnson: Great Wine, Local Family Owned, Dog Friendly, Beautiful Property, this place has it all. Thanks to Joe and his crew for showing our group a great time!
Annette Manzardo: Such a sweet experience, family owned with a great passion for dry wines. A must stop!
Jessica Barton: I only drank their petite Siraz and it's perfect. Will be going back for more.
Pamela Thompson: The gentleman was extremely rude to my daughter and I. Continually complained of how busy he was. The tasting was a bit higher than some other wineries.
Hoosier Hoe: I will give one star because of the beautiful rock out front. First time visiting Buck Creek today and service was less than impressive. We walked in and after a few minutes and gentleman asked if he could help. I replied it was our first time and wanted to check out the winery. He then went right back to his conversation with other people. A lady standing behind the bar never said a word and we were looking at the different bottles of wine. My son was with me and he is training to be a sommelier however they would have never known this due to their lack of customer service. After we made our selection I took it to the bar to pay. The lady as the register rang up the bottle but then turned her tablet toward me which asked me to choose my tip amount. VERY unprofessional especially since I was purchasing a bottle of wine to go, not drinking at the bar. Judging by the pictures on your website the gentleman and lady are the owners. Upon leaving my son asked me, "A tip for what"? We won't be returning.
Lucy Scott: It wasn't that impressive I have been in many wineries and I have tasted many kinds of wine none of the ones I tasted here was unique.
Stephen Roberts: Great local winery!
Kurt Schilling: We dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon since we had not been there before. Definitely not crowded. Jeff waited on us. My wife sampled the sweet wines while I did the dry reds. You get a flight of 6 for $10 and I'd say that's pretty good. Jeff pointed out their best sellers to us. Those wines are standouts. For the dry reds, the Cabernet Sauvignon and one called Harold were very nice. I think I'm in love with Harold. The Roadhouse Red, sweet red was favoured by my wife. The Strawberry was exceptional. Awesome finish. Buck Creek is 32 years old and I'm thinking they should easily double that. Stop on by, you'll be glad you did
Mr. Larry OG: In my top five favorite wineries.
Chad Worsham: This was our first visit. Honestly, we just stopped in for a rest break, but after seeing their selection we decided to stay for a tasting. And I'm glad we did because my wife found several that she liked (on the sweeter side) and I found one that I liked, too (dry). It's been our experience that wineries don't do both sweet and dry well, usually just one or the other, so this was a pleasant surprise. Also, the sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the winery.I know the wine is the main attraction at any good winery, but I knocked of one star because the setting was on the bland side. Don’t misunderstand me, we’ve been to dozens of beautiful and extravagant wineries that offered terrible wines, but the atmosphere does have a part to play.
Alfred Weems III: One of my favorite wineries!
Andrea: Truly some of the best wine in Indiana. Friendly owners and staff. Cute outdoor area. My favorite go to winery spot! Don’t skip out on the slushees!
Kenneth Fitzlaff: Called looking to make a reservation and book a party for 100+ people. Lady was very rude and the first thing she said was "I'm swamped and don't have time for this" all I had done was introduced myself and the organization I wanted to book an event for. If zero stars was a possibility I would give zero stars.
Tanya Grays: It is beautiful place to visit. While we were tasting the delicious variety of wines they had the wine steward gave information on the wines. We purchased cheese with crackers & sat outside enjoying a nice summer breeze with a glass. Then we strolled by vineyards.
Becky Hibbard: Great wines Great atmosphere
Dennis Morris: Shared a great evening with friends and Duke Tumatoe. Excellent venue. Easy in easy out only $5.00
Sarah Stierch: Great tasting experience at Buck Creek Winery. I'm a Hoosier now living in Sonoma, California, and I work part time in the wine industry and I am a former wine writer for various Northern California and nation wine publications.Suffice to say, growing up in Indiana I despised the sweet wines we are known for making and I was a bit nervous about what I'd expect - especially given that the label looks like something you'd find at a hunting cabin wall versus a modern day winery. But, we aren't in California anymore Dorothy.I came into this tasting with an open mind and a goal to only taste wines using Indiana grown grapes (no fruit wine or wine using imported grapes from CA, OR, WA, etc). Our tasting associate was down to earth, informative and friendly. He answered all my geeky questions. I was very pleased with his knowledge about the wines and winemakng process, as past experiences with Indiana wine tastings have often been less than informative.I felt very overwhelmed looking at the two page wine list - 37 wines! I selected six (it's $10 for six tastings) and I chose estate and Indiana grown wines and one cider:-William Loyd Reserve (red blend)-Seyval Blanc (white semi-dry)-Forget Me Not (Traminette)-Grady's Hard Cider (heirloom apples from a few blocks away)-Pink Ribbon Rose-Autumn Blush (Catawba)I was tasted the William Lloyd first, which was very confusing, as I would generally taste a guest on a dry white wine first, but, whatever. It was the only wine I chose on the official "dry" list, so that's what my first wine was.Overall, I enjoyed the William Loyd, Forget Me Not and the Hard Cider. Those are the three I left with. The Seyval Blanc was really interesting (acidic with a strange bite) and I look forward to trying more of those at other wineries. The Pink Ribbon Rose was bearable and the Autumn Blush smelled like it was corked upon opening and pouring, but, I was told that was "just how it always smelled." I could not get past the scent of that wine when I tasted it. The rose-orange tinted wine is their most popular wine, which I cannot comprehend anyone liking. The wines I took home are dry. The red reminded me of a slightly tannic, but comforting and warm full-bodied merlot or syrah-based red blend I'd find back home. A good easy drinking, week night red.The Traminette is Indiana's state grape and this was my first taste of it since I left the state. I really enjoyed it. Its parent grape is Gewürz and it's got delicate floral and fruity notes, but nothing over the top. Really nice wine. The cider was semi-dry and just plain tasty.I noticed glasses of wine were being served in plastic cups, so I opted out of that. They were also selling wine slushies to go in big stryofoam containers, which was hilarious and very Hoosier.Overall, I was pleased to find some wines I enjoyed and look forward to returning to the future to try Buck Creek's other wines. Cheers.
