Bruce Secor: To say The Toy Pit is amazing & fantastic seems a bit inadequate - I think we need some new adjectives! I've been buying there a few years now & it's a great place for a life-long Trekkie like me; they got even better with the move to their new, much larger space. I've been collecting Star Trek for 30+ years & it's become difficult to find items I don't have but Toy Pit always comes thru. I was there today & found a couple items at the parking lot sale & a couple more in-store. As always, Mike the owner & Stockton the manager were terrific, very knowledgeable & helpful. Today was one where they surprised me with a couple Trek items I didn't have & immediately bought. As someone who has collected for years, buying online & at other shops around the country, I find their prices reasonable & competitive; as the signs in the store say, if you want to negotiate a price, just ask them. I've always received excellent customer service there & I'm happy I live only a couple miles away. Live Long And Prosper! 🤓🖖

Kwaaazy Kupcakes: The Toy Pit is a MUST VISIT for whenever you're looking for something specific or if you're just browsing and want to find something unexpected. They have WAY TOO MUCH to look at-Funko Pops, Action Figures, Pokémon cards, Barbies, Classic Horror figures, Anime, Superheroes, Star Wars...anything you can think of-THEY HAVE IT! We're always greeted when we come in and they're willing to help you if you ARE looking for something specific. We've never been disappointed with their selection. They buy/sell toys, their prices are reasonable, and everyone in there is friendly and knowledgeable-which is great for casual buyers or serious collectors. If you haven't been here yet, please give them a try! They have WAY too much...take some off of their hands...I know we try as much as we can 🤣

Sheri Selvey: Stopped in last night to shop for Christmas presents for my kid, and it felt like cheating - bc I wanted everything for myself :). So much whimsy and novelty, it’s so fun to look around in here. I got multiple items, and plan to stop in whenever I need a unique kiddo gift or just to see what’s new. A lot of the items are danish, polish, Czech - definitely have that quirky novel Scandinavian design novelty. And the books are carefully selected for a great curated selection you won’t find anywhere else.
Carson Royer: Great little local toy store. They carry a big variety of more boutique style children's toys, games, and books. They don't sell any mass-market or plastic toys. They have a wide range of stuffed animals, dolls, arts and craft kits, wooden toys, cars, and puzzles, and a decent selection of books. The staff is friendly, helpful, and great with kids.

Er hatte kein Problem damit das meine Enkelin alle Spielsachen im ganzen Laden ausprobiert hat. Wer Zeit hat und in der Gegend ist sollte dort unbedingt vorbeizuschauen. Meine Enkelin ist immer noch begeistert von ihrem Puppenbuggy.
Jeremy Miller: This is an amazing little store for toys. Everything is great quality; no plastic, breakable, throw away stuff here, with most items you won't find anywhere else. This is probably due to some of their brands being European but regardless it is all top notch products your kids (or your kid at heart) will love. We will definitely be back!

King Boo: Went back to ask if I could renegotiate the prices - solid no. I'm not paying $20 for a Shaymin VSTAR card that's worth $1.82. This place is disgusting. Not even worth 1 star. You're better off at Comic Book University, trust me.Went in to sell some items and look at any Pokémon cards. Noticed they had a full arts Sidney card from Fusion Strike priced at $10. That is obscene. The market value for that card at the time of writing this review is $2.44. They also had a Celebrations Venusaur for $20! That card is marked at only $4.51! DO NOT BUY CARDS FROM HERE YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF

Same experience selecting a book. What a giant asset to this Carmel/Zionsville community. And, they gift wrap! They were hits with the birthday boy AND his parents. Not sure how to get your child to live to read?! Then walk in and the owner will give you plenty of advice. She knows all of the books she carries. She will give you ideas for each child based on their interests. I love book stores, and this one is special. There isn’t an enormous collection but it is just right. She also carries wonderful toys. Perfect gift giving selections.
Andrew Pool: We've been to two birthday parties here for 3-4 year olds and they were great! The staff are extremely helpful, they have activities for the kids and keep changing the activities to keep the kids attention. Highly recommend, we will be having our kid's birthday here in the future if we can get on the schedule! The store is also very well stocked and has an amazing variety of books and toys.

It's nice for finding unique gifts and I really love that they have a selection of adult books at the front so I can browse those while the kids are playing. John Robinson: First, I was told my order wasn’t ready despite having an email saying it was. It turned out to be ready, but took three associates to find it. The item was either a lower quality version than I paid for, or it was described incorrectly on the website. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience.

Katy Aiello: Despite the fact that this is my closest Target store, yesterday was the last time I will shop here. The past few times I have been here it's been a mess but yesterday was out of control. It literally looks like someone walked around through all of the aisles throwing things in the air and on the ground. The clothes are an absolute mess, you can't even walk around in that area because there are clothes all over the floor and hanging off the displays. The sale/ clearance clothing area is a disaster. It doesn't really matter what department you walk through, they all look like this. I'm not sure what is happening at the store but I hope they get it together.

Maxs Starman: Well one of the main reasons I like Target is because it's not walmart. Ever since Walmart came in they came in with their cheap prices and combined everything in one store shopping. They closed out the mom and pop stores only to drive their prices up. And then created automated lines to fire 30,000 employees. So I do not try to shop at Walmart and I was not trying to do this yesterday. But when I came to Target I was looking for Universal TV stands not TV mounts TV stands. So if they had it for way more than what Walmart was charging. So I still had to go to Walmart. The only way you're going to beat out Walmart is if you sell your stuff cheaper than what they do now so they can drive their prices down because automated machines can't buy products they don't need them you need your employees because their money buys your products. Because if all the stores decide to change up to automated technology to where they don't hire workers to work for the money to spend back in their stores then they're going to end up closing down anyway because robots can't won't buy and don't need products. So in the nature of the giving season I wanted to do my shopping at Target to which it went to no avail. You can't have a multi billion dollar place with no employees and just robots. You will continue to lose money and close down because robots don't buy or need your products. I will go to a store with employees and no automated machines first before I ever go to Walmart. I promise
Evelyn Pender: After getting a puppy, I always use drive up and bring him with me. It’s very efficient and we never have to wait long. My order is always right and the employees are always nice. Wish more stores had free curbside but I’ll just stick with target :)

Kylie Lockett: This store is absolutely amazing! It has everything you would need to teach your children at home or support them at home for practice for extra support during homework time. I can’t believe this is my first time coming in to this place after all these years. Highly recommend checking it out for any teacher or homeschool mom or parent who wants to support their children at any age to develop their skills.
jesse dean: I went in needing only one thing to prepare for the upcoming homeschool year and I ended up leaving with a cart full of supplies. There was a store worker that greeted us as we came in and was able to immediately take me to where I needed to go. There is so much available in the store. I think we have found the new destination for Christmas and birthday gifts for our children

Leslie Wells: The in-store Target experience, overall, has gone downhill since the renovation at our local store. It is no longer a welcoming layout that draws me into the store. The layout is quite choppy which doesn’t create positive feelings. It also is messier than it ever was prior to the renovation. I would solely blame customers for this, but it wasn’t like this pre-Reno. I’m not sure if staffing has been cut because of the renovation?For these reasons, we no long do our weekly Target trips to wander around inside and browse. Instead, when we do shop at Target, we opt for pickups and shipping instead. But even those are significantly reduced.

Carrie S: The new layout is awful, disorganized and crammed. It is not inviting AT ALL! I feel very unwelcome when I walk in and very enclosed and all I want to do is get what I came for and leave. When I use to go to Target regularly it was to walk around see what's new and what's on sale and after going in numerous times since the remodel, I still get the same feeling; uninvited, enclosed and crammed. My husband and 3 kids said the same thing, we all hate the new layout, just awful and uninviting.

Ryan Chaffin: I went to this location because another location told me they had an item in stock. So I made the drive over only for 2 different employees to tell me it's in the back and that they won't go get it. Customer service is not up to par. I know the store could care less if I shop there again, but definitely will not be. If it was an item they needed or wanted they'd go get it. I worked for a target before and at the time they went above and beyond for "guests" but apparently they don't have the same values.

Dan Hoffman: I used to love shopping at this store before the pandemic and only returned tonight just to browse and shop. Normally, I would comment on customer service and staff attitudes in a review. However, this is impossible with this Target because, except for people doing shelving and opening boxes, there are no staff to interface with. When I got to the check out line, I stood along with about 30 others waiting my turn to self check out. This store is giving off all the vibes of an establishment on the verge of closure, something that I would not be surprised to see happen within a year or two. As a person who used to love the Target brand and how it differentiated itself from KMart, I was very disappointed with my shopping experience and won't be returning to any Target store. There are other places to shop without being forced to stand in line with thirty others to check myself out. Looking at Washington Square, I am saddened. A once vital and vibrant shopping center has been brought low. Target is this shopping center's last gasp.
