Life Treatment Centers, Inc.: what do users think?
Ricky Brough: Very nice people
James Johnson: This is a okay place to get the help but the staff here is not about the help so it what you make it
Sherri Dirty Krontz (KRONTZ): It's helped me with my drinking keeping me sober
Robert Johnson jr: I have friend that resides there and needed to talk to her and got a reply like i have the wrong number. I know for a fact that was the correct number. Rude people who run this place.

Choices Recovery Center: what do users think?
Mark Sealy: My experience at choices was the best thing I had ever experienced in my life, MS.RACHAEL always had time for me to vent, cry, or just have a normal conversation, not to mention laughter. She is just an ANGEL ON EARTH, just as MS MONICA AND MS. KENZIE, these three LADIES changed my LIFE FOREVER. Ii was a lost soul just wondering around here on earth but they cared enough to show me how, when, why, and where I should be going in life and because of these 3 ANGELS I now own a 2 story log cabin in the woods in TN. , I work for the county HWY DEPARTMENT as an equipment operator and I have taken my life back because of THEIR BELIEF IN ME. if I went to every rehab center in the world I would have never found what I did with the WHOLE STAFF AT CHOICES, LOVE THEM FOREVER, AND THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ALL I CAN BE!! VERY MUCH LOVE TO ALL
Hope Smith: I have been to icfr in Bloomington and it was the best experience I have ever had with a rehab! I think this will be a great Resource for people that want help!!❤️
Tiera Atwood: Very respectful company
Amanda Crowe: Honestly i don’t even know where to start. I was coming off opiates with serious declining health, they didn’t care much. got to the point i could barely walk up the stairs there. I was able to do a facetime call to my mother when i was 8 days in (4 days post taper) and the first question my mom asked me was what drugs i was still on because i looked worse there than walking in (and trust me i was a mess walking in) Talking to numerous people expressing i’d like to leave the next morning (with arrangements already made for pick up) they continued to call my parents, girlfriend and other family members saying i was a danger to myself and others and it’s in everyone’s best interests that i stay as long as possible. Well, I left day 9. Here I am 8 months later living sober and better than ever. Despite the fact everyone told me I was nothing but a junkie leaving to get high.I left and immediately went into the ER with malnutrition because they have someone who graduated the program 3 months prior cooking.I would say go if it’s your LAST resort, as it was for me. Detoxed and done. They have no actual program going on
Nick Rodefer: Worst experience. Lied about insurance coverage to me, unprofessional, dirty, and code violations galore. No cooks, no hot water, They only care about dollars. I left ASAP and went to the bluffs in Ohio and couldn’t have been more thankful to be out of that joke of a place. I am fighting w them and my insurance now to remove a 3000 balance bc they lie to patients.
Stephen B: Been to 7 treatment centers & this is the worst place I’ve ever been to. There is a very good reason we called it the “compound”. Do your group till 3 then smoke cigs for the rest of the day. It’s filthy they do your out plan a day or two before you leave. I recommend Northern Illinois Recovery Center in crystal lake. Great place you go to outside meetings very clean good freedom to give you opportunities. Choices is a straight joke please please please don’t send your loved ones here
Avery Johnson: VERY THANKFUL FOR THIS PLACE , BUT MANAGEMENT IS SO HORRIBLE AND UNFRIENDLY HE BARELY EVEN WANT TO SPEAK WITH YOU THEY R SO CONCERN ABOUT INSURANCE MONEY AND NOT RECOVERY TI THE FULLEST. ENVIRONMENT IS HAZARDOUS COLD IN BEDS AND AND CLASSROOM AND I WILL CONTACT INDIANA BOARD OF HEALTH FOR THESE CONDITIONS. RACHEL IS AWESOMEBRANDON NEEDS A CLASS ON BEING A CEO AND MORE HOSPITALITY AND FIX THE PROBLEM S IN THIS COLD FACILITY I HAD TO SLEEP WITH A COAT IN BED EVERY NIGHT
Jonathan Alexander: Fun times! Not a 28 day place, expect 45-60 day stay. Nice wall/fence to prevent escape but you just need to be creative.
Joey Ramos: Choices Recovery gave me a balance that I never thought I would have. There staff gave me a comfort that a family would give to one leaving home for the first time..To truly understand my faults.I had to go through all the programing Choices Recovery had to offer. And I a better man then I was before. Thanks to Choices ..A better Father and a productive memeber in our society.thank you Bradon and staff..
jeffrey frasher: They are under staffed. Most haven’t been sober 4 months. The clients were cooking because the staff quit. Made everything harder than needed. Showers were cold. Bunks were to small. Don’t do it.
Lee Luna: I am posting this under a pseudonym. I can't say enough good things about Choices recovery. I am grateful for this program and for the staff here. I have made many mistakes while attending Choices. I have broken rules and I have disregarded the welfare of my peers, all in the name of addiction and Choices did not throw me away, push me out or forget about me. They continued to let me attend their program and get treatment for my disease. I'm grateful they recognize that my disease was working in full force and that is not the person I'm striving to be. If you don't get anything out of choices it will be because you did not put anything into it. It is 100% what you put into it. I know I don't want to continue on this path and I am willing to go to any lengths to change the course of my life and thank God that Choices is here to help me with that. The only thing I find a little difficult is that there is a lot of down time after classes. I am aware that this is difficult for me so I am planning things to fill my time. Thank you Choices for more than Second Chances, third and fourth ones. I believe that I will be able to maintain sobriety if I work your program to the very best of my ability and I take the tools I learn and practice them in everyday life I thank you from the bottom of my heart, my cold black addicted heart lol
brandon adolf: What an amazing program!
veronica garcia: Disorganized , I was a patient here and I had to take control of what I needed this place is insurance fraud , all that money that doesn’t benefit you. They lie there way into coming, they put your job on hold and tell you you completed the program but didn’t graduate the last minute ask if you want to stay another week andThey don’t give you back the release papers. Worst treatment facility there is I recommend any other one but this one they pay no attention to there clients your basically roaming around doing nothing all day because classes stop at 1:00 tell me how does that make sense?
Jeanne Gedeon: Dont believe them when they tell you your bill will be 100% paid for! And the accommodations are not true neither! Dont get one on one counselling for weeks!
krista Oconnor: I went there a few years ago. After coming in clean they kept me in detox for almost 10 days. On the 9th day the doctor wanted me to start suboxone. Which made no sense to me considering I was clean already...the facility otherwise wasnt that bad, but when I left I had no money or phone and they were aware. They got me a ticket for a bus in Chicago. Dropped me off on the south side of Chicago with no money and no phone then come to find out they didn't give me an actual ticket when they dropped me off. I had to beg someone to let me use their phone to call my boyfriend so he could buy me a new ticket. Mind you the bus station on south side isn't more than a bus stop. So I had many issues with the ticket lady to get on the bus because I had no ticket and she had to be called by another bus company and told to let me on. The girl who helped me only did because she said it was a bad area to be in at night with a suitcase and no phone or money.3 people I know we went there with me also were snuck 9ut at night and getting drunk with workers.most of which would also hit on the females regularly.. All 3 friends there OD after getting released..Also being next to a liquor store isn't very easy for people struggling with addiction.Should have wrote this sooner but it took me this many years to find the help I needed to be clean.I did enjoy the communications class though.
Taylor Inglis: Amazing staff. Kind, caring, and deligent. They care about the clients more than anything. Want too see people succeed
Kelly Williams: Choices Recovery is a well structured recovery center with a very knowledgeablestaff. SMART recovery class helped me to understand my addiction and Choices counseling staff helped and encouraged family therapy sessions which helped me better relationships in my life. Security staff as well as client services staff was always extremely helpful with any client needs 24/7. I would recommend this treatment facility to any family/friends/loved ones in need of help.
Chris Santiago: Words can't really describe how I feel about Choices Recovery because quite frankly they saved my life. I have been battling alcoholism and addiction for the past 14 years and have completed 5 different rehab programs with little success. I was skeptical at first but then I took a step back and stopped thinking (my thinking got me in here) and started listening. When I did this I realized I had missed something previously and really started to see how knowledgeable and compassionate the staff really was. Thru their Smart Recovery course I uncovered the root cause of my addiction and with their guidance began to confront it and learn new tools and behaviors to pull me out of the past and better equip me for the future. I came in completely lost and hopeless and they helped me find myself giving me a peace of mind that I had been searching for. As far as the living situation the homestyle meals, comfy leather couches and ridiculously huge LED TV's would have made it impossible to be active but luckily they've got a great gym staffed with personal trainers that are out of this world. Honestly the people here make it a home and become family. I never thought I would love it but I was definitely sad to go. If your serious about a better life this is the place to go.
Anna Nychypor: If I could give a negative star, I would.First of all, I was lied to since the night I arrived. I was told by Cameron that my out of pocket would be nothing. Turns out they called my mother for 3k that same week. I was barely intoxicated when I came in but they kept me in detox for 12 days, collecting their 2k a day. I met with my counselor for 15-20 min a week. My case manager taught a great class but was horrible as a manager. The place is terribly dirty. They found out we were getting a health inspection so they had us do extra cleaning one night. I found 10 dead bugs under my bed. And it was my responsibility to clean that up. Also, I left a coffee mug in my room one morning and was punished by the directors girlfriend to wash a wall...I am old enough to be her mom. Some of their teachers don't even have a year of sobriety. If you don't smoke, you won't fit in. If you are over 35 and appreciate being treated with some respect, you won't fit in. And most of the people writing these reviews are employees there...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!
Josh Steele: This place saved my life. The staff is great and compassionate. They helped me every step of the way. Many activities to keep the clients busy during the program. Clean facility and the food is great.
Jordan Irmiter: My boyfriend is in "recovery at this treatment center" currently. His counselor and case manager are very unprofessional. He has not taken any sort of responsibility being there for five weeks. People get to see a counselor one time a week there. They spend about 4 hours a day learning (still unclear about what is done the rest of time). His counselor tells him his problems are not that significant. Very unpleasant experience. I feel like this "treatment center" needs to be investigated and shut down. Do NOT waste your time. Please, if you or someone needs help, do your research!

Indiana Center for Recovery- Alcohol & Drug Rehab Center Mishawaka South Bend: what do users think?
Carrie Longfellow: Icfr i would highly recommend coming her if you are struggling with addiction everyone here is so nice Belle,Billy ,Sadie ,Rob and all the nurses are wonderful oh and I can’t forget Max he’s the best
Bernice Occhipinti: After all my complaints to Atty general licensing board etc no response My brother is a documentary film maker I have numbers for 6 people I was in there with Any others interested. t
moist towelette: I came in for mental health services and I have a blast, the staff were so accommodating and amazing. Specifically Sadie, Joy, Camrie, Britney, Monique, and my case manager Darius. Roxane is the lead MHT and she’s so understanding of everyone situation and will help clients with whatever they need. If I had to give ANY advice to anyone coming in it’ll be that take it one day at a time, and to trust the process. Leaving here is so bittersweet definitely a healing journey I’ll remember!
Katlyn Johnson: As a rehab facilatator i would not recommend thia facility to any addicts persuing recovery. Pictures are extremely misleading and is more of a jail setting than a comfortable place to recover. Staff is condescending and rude which helps noone during their recovery. No showers in rooms.. Keep your possesions even if you want to leave. Recovery IS POSSIBLE. Just not in this setting..PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU TRUELY WANT TO RECOVER.
Cooper Middaugh: The staff was absolutely amazing!!! They genuinely care and want the best for you. The facility is very clean and accommodating! There are always snacks stocked and the food is solid. Groups are informative and with it being a dual assessment facility means they take your mental health seriously which was the major draw for me. If you are focused on recovery, you can find that here regardless of whatever critique one can find.
Zachary Kikalos: This place is a lifesaver. Truly. Though the group meetings can be a bit long, they are necessary. Lisa, Leah, Mayah & Constance all do amazing work leading the discussions. They all do their best to help on an individual basis too. If you’re dealing with mental health or addiction recovery, this is the place to go. Happy to say that I have made a family at Indiana Center for Recovery..1 day at a time.
Carly Lemaire: There is a gym, massage therapy, and yoga classes running. They are working on ketamine treatments to be ready by the end of this month. They offer emdr if you request it from your assigned therapist.
Gigi38864: Staff is great. Very caring and helpful. Nice amenities. Vegan friendly. Can't say enough good things about how much they helped me.
david winchell sr: The staff here is amazing. A special shout out to Zach, the fitness guy.
Taylor Grunawalt: I have been to a few rehabs and this one is by far the best ! Staff is amazing and still sober today:)
RapSnackAddict: I’ll admit I was scared coming in here when you think treatments like this you usually think scary things especially if you’ve never been. But from getting picked up to the getting admitted in everyone was so kind and warm and welcoming to me. To make matters even better the other residents saved my whole life. The connections I made really saved me along with the group teachers like Maya her classes and just her one on one really helped me in all ways. Same with my case manager Darius he made sure to get me set in everything I really need. If I continue this I wouldn’t have enough room. I just thank the facility and the people the connections I’ve made became a family for me let alone friends so never forget and if you’re really looking into it this was a nice experience and I thank them because I’m feeling more better than ever and I’m thankful for that 30 days.
Jermaine Buchanan: From an addict to a sober man this recovery center has given me the tools that I truly needed. The staff & techs are very very helpful, mindful, & caring. I DID cry before I was admitted because I was so ashamed that alcohol had consumed my life. Indiana Center for Recovery has given me the chance, Knowledge, & willpower to put my best foot forward, for that I am so thankful from the bottom of my soul; I can now feel free from the bondage of alcoholism. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for showing & teaching me how to manage my life. The group facilitators are very helpful and very resourceful. They can and WILL help you with any aspect of your life that needs attention.. I was about to give up and these staff members helped change my perspective for the better. Staff members that I would personally love to thank are Sadie, Dave H, Mayah, Lauri, Austin, Both Zach's, Bella, Billy, Tiana, Josh, & Roxanne. The food is amazing. The Facility was very clean & organized. Oh yeah, I cant forget the nurses all were amazing, if I forgot anyone I still want to thank everyone for all they did & for the personal attention I received. Thank you ICFR!! -JB
Jessica W.: ICFR Mishawaka is a really nice facility. The building is well managed and staff is knowledgeable. They have created a great safe space for clients. The group facilitators are patient and Mayah is absolutely amazing at what she does. If you are unsure of where to start and are looking for a place to help you gain perspective and grow this is the place to go. It works if you put in the effort and focus on your own personal healing.
Sheldon Shearer: I was incredibly nervous and scared before I checked myself in but my time being at Indiana Center for Recovery was more than what I could ask for. The bond you make with Staff members and other clients is a feeling that I haven’t felt in a very long time. Everyone one is understanding and really makes you feel comforted and safe. I highly recommend.
richard navarro: I cried before I went in because I was scared to go into treatment & now, I ended up tearing because I had to leave. I really love the staff, & they don't treat you like a 5-year-old, they treat you like an adult. The beds are comfortable, the areas are clean, the staff show compassion & understanding to everyone's needs. So, if you're looking to get sober, from one addict to another, this place will give you the tools needed and show you a better way.
Jan Lassus: This facility is amazing. The professional lism, compassion yet knowledge and wisdom the staff is unlike any other facility I have seen. You can clearly and quickly see that clients are treated as an individual with each their own special needs. The atmosphere is geared towards every area of recovery. They teach you the joy of life experiences without having to use. My son has had some time at this facility and he came out a better person. I highly recommend for anyone who chooses the path of healing and wholeness and recovery. Top notch.
Mariela Patlan-Luna: Maybe biased: but I have never been so proud to work for such an amazing team. 🙏🏼😊As someone with family suffering from addiction and Mental Health, I give my word I 100% would recommend this facility to my own people. 💯💯💯
ThatOneKidYt: Beautiful facility, just like the pictures show, full medical Detox and residential program. Staff is amazing and make all the difference, they treat you like family! ❤️ come with an open mind, & you will succeed.
Alison Lee: I would recommend their South Bend program to anyone seeking treatment. This facility offers incredible support for not just them, but to their families as well. A beautiful facility with a pretty amazing team offering the quality care you’re looking for!
james hall: I was there at icfr for 20 ish days give or take a few they let me go home a few days early because I was doing well and they really set me up with a lot they gave me the tools I needed to leave there and continue work with a psychiatrist and therapist. Icfr really saved my life the residents that were there were all great the staff was all great everyone was so friendly and caring towards me. It’s somewhere I think I’ll always consider to be home.
Nicole Glupker: Great staff, very clean, good food. 10/10

Oxford House Emyla: what do users think?
Michael Bozsanyi: This place is awesome, you'll get what you put into it. If your not serious about recovery you'll probably think not, if you are serious this is a safe, drug free place for you to go were we hold each other accountable, until our minds are free enough to hold ourselves accountable. This place really did help me become a productive member of society again.
Todd Buysse: Great place to live and recover ..I've been here for almost a year it worked for me..
H Reed: As of this writing I have a years experience with this location and program so will try and clarify things a bit. An important thing to understand is that each house is independent and ran by the current residents under guidelines set forth by its area chapter which in turn is governed by the state chapter then national program. Each house is run democratically by its residents with a persons power being in their vote. I feel most of the negative reviews I've heard are from those who relapsed or who routinely or egregiously violated rules and were kicked out. The only violations that allow for immediate expulsion are relapse, violence, or those of a potentially criminal nature. This program is not a good fit for everyone as it is more of a peer supported independent living type situation. It is not as rigidly governed as many halfway houses and is better suited for those comfortable in recovery and capable of living independently but still desiring some structure and guidance. As for Emyla specifically I would say it is a great location. It is near downtown with Leeper Park and the river nearly next door. The residents tend to be easy going and get along well. The house is big with 3 full baths, 3 kitchens, and 2 living rooms. It is worth looking into the place to see if it is for you but remember it is not for everyone.
Courtney Terry: Awesome place they really help you when you are willing to help yourself
Zachary Stults: ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! Ran by completely unprofessional, incompetent "outreach" personel. You pay basicly a morgage and you are responsible for holding others accountable and are penalized when they violate rules or don't do there own chores. You pay to have to babysit grown adults. You can be evicted wo notice and made to vaccate the premises immediately for failing to do a chore. They put pregnant women in the street for not mowing the lawn (when they shouldn't be mowing anyway). Completely disgusted with this very selfish entity
