Don't Write Down, Printup: The place to go if you are a woman or female presenting and need help with your car!I was raised by mechanics but am hours away from them with beater cars that are not safe to go on the highway to get to my dads for regular maintenance. A few months ago I got a really bad flat on my car, could not move it and did not have a donut. I went to i dont know how many auto shops, trying to find a tool or solution to get my tire off. All of them laughed at me and only gave me numbers for a tow truck. I didnt have the money for a tow truck so as a hail mary I went into a local oreilly's in tears asking for a solution for my tire that did not involve a tow truck. One of the employees immediately knew what to do grabbed a long metal bar for grabbing and a crowbar like item to get the nuts and bolts off and said leave me a form of colleteral like a credit card or id, we'll keep it behind the counter and if this doesn't work you can bring it back and even if it does work, no charge. I left and GOT MY TIRE OFF AFTER A SIX HOUR WILD GOOSE CHASE. Came back this time with tears of joy and bought the tools he let me borrow.Then flash forward a new months and I have a new car. Almost immediately after buying it (not 24 hours) my check engine light comes on. I head to a different auto shop and was told that I was an idiot because i just put my gas cap on wrong. I go ok....but no matter how I turned it that light never went off. So I went to a different oreillys (reason youre seeing this review twice is that im talking about two seperate locations, but they have the same attitude at both so ya know) and they did the doohickey with my engine light. They found out that the most common cure to my problem was an engine pump and that the second course if an engine pump didnt fix it was a new gas cap. Finally got it to the mechanic and they were right! No more engine light.I love the workers at oreillys compared to other auto shops. Oreillys is like a bunch of grandpas and uncles who just want to make each car they help service the safest they can for the road, whereas other auto shops just see women as a cheap sale.Only negative I have about O'Reilly is that they don't have cute or cool accessories, but I would rather have their decent staff over cute bobbles for my car that I don't really need.

Fil Cevriz: Needed a part I couldn't find anywhere. The dealership wouldn't sell me the part alone and they requested $200 for a diagnostic and $2k to repair the part.I found Veldman's online, gave them a call and they were able to work with me and get the part shipped to me all the way up to Canada!Great customer service and communication. Got the part quickly and was able to fix my car myself saving me over $1800. Thanks again guys

Doug Wilson: I found this auto parts company through an ebay search. The part I was ordering was far cheaper than other dealers for the same part. I also hadn't ordered from ebay in a while and though I tried to update my address in the middle of the order, ebay still defaulted to my old address. After a couple calls and an email to confirm my information, the staff at Veldman's were able to override ebay's auto shipment and rerouted it to my correct address for me. The staff that I spoke to were all extremely friendly and helpful. Will order from them again in a heartbeat! Thanks!

Robert B: Had a recent dealing with those guys and unfortunately it wasn't handled professionally. Bought 4 items from their ebay store and things went silent. No replays to messages and when I called I was transferred to the eBay guy I charged with no luck but voice mail. In fact the last call the person on the phone told me the eBay person right here but once again voice mail. Last when I left voice mail to ask for the tracking number then sent me a message back saying there are damage to the Items. ALL OF THEM. Lol. Which a man in a flying horse can see what's happening and a refund was issued. I would be careful dealing with them online. Maybe in person better since I also check the feedback on this matter. It seems to be the same as my issue. If it's too good they keep it.

Jon Mann: This is my favorite shop when I have trouble with my vehicle's starters and alternators. Dan does a great job getting things either repaired or the correct things ordered for me when I need them. And the best part is, he beats basically every price from all the shops around that I've tried to get the same parts from. I've never had him be more expensive. Great value here. Also I know he does hydraulic hosing to order as well, but I've never needed that done. Go see him for any Starters, Alternators, or hydraulic hosing you need made!
