Septemberlady S: Terrible!! Contacted them for bankruptcy paid in full. Decided not to follow through with bankruptcy and just pay off old bills. Contacted Mr. Seese talked about a refund stated since he never done anything with my information. I would be recieving a refund lessor the $100 retainer fee within 30 days. The waiting time would be because the accountant would be sending the check out. After 30 days recieved a check that they deducted close to $300 (although previously stating it would be no charge past retainer fee). for returning the money to me from the office located right in the city where they are located. They also spelled my name wrong on the check so I wasn't able to cash it. Then instead of fixing the issue and refunding the money. They told me to get my own lawyer and Sue them for the difference. I was completely shocked!! But lets not forget they spelled my name wrong so I still need a properly filled out check. I also asked who spelled my name wrong the in office paralegal told me whom ever signed it! Which it's signed by Patrick M. Seese. I would definitely say I'm glad I didn't follow through with his help! How can you help and not spell your own clients name Shannon and they wrote Sharon! Not only on the check but on the letter head and envelope!

Stephanie L Miller: I would not rate with 1 star, if given the choice. I hired this firm, paid my balance in full after the consultation. Communication from beginning was lacking. There would be weeks in-between responses and obviously they deal in time sensitive materials. The only time I received an immediate response was after 14 days of nothing, I copied the attorney on an email requesting someone communicate with me. I have provided all requested documentation within a 24 hour period of when it was requested. My final requirement was a copy of my 2018 tax returns, which I provided the day before it was officially requested by the Trustee; then received a formal letter from Trustee that was emailed by a paralegal who works for MM Law requested the returns. At that point, I had been waiting a week for correspondence regarding a correct attorney code for my final BK class. After I forwarded the email where I provided my returns a week prior, and AGAIN requested a correct attorney code; I waited 23 days and received no response; so I completed the course without the correct attorney code and forwarded the completion receipt. 5 days later, I received a warning from the trustee stating my bankruptcy could be dismissed entirely if I did not complete the class within 45 days of my original creditor meeting. (Which had been rescheduled 4 times). At this point, I have not received communication from this firm since February 12th, 2019- and have emailed them twice with pertinent information and questions.My attorney was GREAT! Dan went over everything in great detail and had no issues explaining things I questioned or was unsure about.Bankruptcy is not something people file in a proud manner. It was a learning experience for me and one I will do anything to not have to repeat in my lifetime. I am disheartened and upset that the firm I chose, which was far more expensive than the first attorney I consulted with; chose to deliver this type of service and care for their clients. Especially a client that paid every penny up front, with no payment arrangement.I will not be recommending this firm to anyone who confides that they may be looking to file Bankruptcy; or for any legal service they may need.

Yolanda Campbell: Although the staff seemed very knowledgeable and mostly polite. I paid for advanced services in anticipation of future services, I thought the lawyer is usually required to keep the money in a client trust account which is my money so I thought. The lawyer has a right to withdraw the money after the fees are “earned” by the lawyer. The lawyer and I agreed on approx $500 in fees and the rest would be a refund of approx $1000 I requested a refund approx 30 days ago as of tomorrow and I called today and got nothing but the excuse give us more time were busy with trials. Understandable but you were paid for your work partial refund owed or not. I was a client as well. Remember every customer is equal not just the one that's paying you right this moment- Yolanda .C

Started the process at South Bend office, then was informed that we had to go to Warsaw office for everything after that. Misleading information every time I called. Anita would never get on the phone, so had to go by what the people answering the phone said anytime I had a question. Got so many wrong answers it was ridiculous. I don't know how these people are still in business. The only time I ever talked to Anita was when she called to YELL at me for calling the trustee. After 2 years of dealing with them we had our case dismissed just so we didn't have to deal with them anymore. That was not before she took her fee of $4000. We are now in a worse situation then before we filed. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Come to find out before hearing when I was getting filed they fired her. No contact to let me know she was gone or who would be replacing her. Here all along I was told in was getting filled two weeks prior. When I called them they were like uum we haven’t even looked at it an that the other lady was gone. First red flag. Secondly I have never met the new attorney nor did they ever try to contact me on anything. It was always me. I get a letter for court date take off work to go an they never told me that it got canceled or anything or a new date. Red flag #2. I call the office cause I am upset an they hang up on me. Saying they busy an not their fault.RED FLAG #3.. Finally get court date an again never met the person who took over my case as it was all done by phone. Anyhow 3 months later I getting bills letters that wer supposed to be taking care of. It is included I my paperwork but they didn’t submit it properly. Red FLAG#4 Got letter in mail saying that I have one day to submit my post bankruptcy discharge course or it will be dismissed without the bankruptcy. Mind you not I done this course the day after filing 3 months prior an sent the office a copy. Conveniently they lost it or whatever happened never turned it into the courts so almost cost me another 500$ for their mistake. With that being said the bill I just got in mail is the last straw I taking with them. I going to file bbb an everyone that will listen. They are rude an disrespectful on phone an when they don’t want to answer you they put you on hold.. I have been hung up on put on hold for over an hour. DONT USE!! Trust me. Now you saying I was told it was not dischargeable in April, how is that possible when I have never met you nor ever talked to you on the phone.
