Ashley Cyusa: This is my second time at memorial midwives, I throughly enjoyed it the first time and was hoping for the same level of care I previously received. Sadly not the case—if I could give a 0 I would—-DO NOT GO to memorial midwives, especially Claire Walker. I started with them at 6 weeks (august 2020) begging to be tested for everything because some thing was not right. For multiple appointments they refused, told me that the tests and my symptoms were “normal” and that I needed to calm down. They even went as far to cancel my testing requests and throw away my urine specimen after I left the building!!! I continued begging. Only in October ( I began in august) Claire walker was reluctant to do a job pelvic exam, but did with attitude. She immediately told me I had 2-3 different things that was going on. MEANING MY BABY HAD ALL OF THIS RUNNING THROUGH HIS BLOOD FOR THE FIRST TWELVE WEEKS BECAUSE NOBODY WANTED TO BELIEVE ME.—i was also high risk pregnancy— I eventually had to go to my regular doctor after Claire walker would cancel my orders and throw out my specimen. My family doctor told me I had such a bad uti infection it was 100% affecting my baby. My whole experience was horrific.And yes. Although I cannot literally prove it, but through the most genetic testing possible, there was no explanation to my son having had a heart condition. But due to Claire walker refusing to treat me for uti+ more, he was born and passed at ten days from his heart defect. Severe uti’s are a serious cause to heart defects.Also terrible TERRIBLE customer service by one specific nurse but never bothered to learn her name, as well as their “head nurse.” It was ridiculous and I ended up just walking out and never going back. I would highly highly discourage any pregnant women to go there, especially if it’s your first bundle of joy!!Memorial’s e. Blair Warner took the rest of my pregnancy and were absolutely wonderful!
Ashley Stephens: Honestly the office staff doesn’t deserve any stars. They were completely rude and unprofessional, especially the office manager. The first few mistakes I was very understanding and flexible, but by the fourth I decided to part ways. The actual midwives were nice and did a great job answering my questions. However, this is my first child and the experience I had with the office staff was unacceptable. What’s more alarming is that when I shared my experience on Facebook, the number of people that reached out to me with similar experiences. Luckily I was able to get a good recommendation and found a doctor with a much better staff.

Dania A.: I absolutely love the beacon midwives. I was unhappy with at a different practice and decided to switch and I am forever glad I did. The midwives are the kindest and most supportive women I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I would highly recommend them for pregnant women. I’d love to especially call out Laura Mabry who delivered my baby so calm and efficiently she was in my deliver room from the moment she arrived at the hospital just staying there silently supporting ( I had other support helping me). I also want to thank Claire walker who I saw at a postpartum visit. I was full of hormones and anxiety and when i started to cry even with the covid pandemic she gave me a huge hug and helped me feel not alone. I love you guys thank you.
Skeletal Decay: Wonderful if you have zero complications. If you do have complications, they'll gladly recommend you to a different office and explain how the next pregnancy will be better, and what can be done to protect the next pregnancy, while they practice 'watchful waiting' instead of trying literally anything to save your baby.It took me three years to get pregnant and they did nothing, just watched and waited for my daughter to die. They did nothing but tell me how they could do something for the next pregnancy. Well, not them. They can't treat my next pregnancy. They didn't even wait for my daughter to be born or die before talking about the next pregnancy. They made it clear that she didn't matter to them. I was told verbatim, "I don't want to give you hope."

Alaina Elder-Correa: I have never been so pleased with my prenatal care and delivery. I went to the midwives throughout my third pregnancy and recently delivered my daughter with them. My other children were born in different states. This experience was by far the best of any of my pregnancies. I really loved the whole team of midwives as well as the front desk staff and medical assistants. My appointments were always on time. I never had to wait. The appointments were succinct, but each midwife always took the time to talk with me and answer any questions. I would have been pleased with any of the midwives delivering my daughter, but I loved having Kristy be there for the delivery. I felt very confident in her experience, especially as the end of the labor got to be more difficult. Each day after the birth, one of the midwives visited me and talked with me at the hospital. The level of care and personal attention given is top notch. I really can’t recommend them enough. We aren’t having more children, but if we were I would not go anywhere else. I’ve already referred several pregnant friends. Seriously, if you’re anywhere near South Bend, this is the place to go for your prenatal care and delivery or women’s health.

Leslie Jerdon: I've had two babies with this wonderful group of Midwives. They are a strong team and make sure to help you every step of the way in your pregnancy and delivery. If you want all natural they go to bat for you on that. They have great techniques to help manage pain. When it's time for baby to come, these ladies have shown they really know what they're doing. The after care is top notch. They strive very hard to abide by your requests from your birth plan. I've had good experiences with them and would recommend them to anyone!
Krystal Moses: Very open and supportive, willing to listen to concerns and advocate for you when necessary. They know their stuff, but have the courage to admit when an issue is not something they are familiar with and make it their business to learn about it. They have delivered 2 of my babies so far, one full term and healthy girl, and a boy who was born sleeping. Both deliveries were treated with the same level of importance, respect, and care. I am about to deliver my third, and I would not go anywhere else.
Kristina Pavlides: Does not take matters seriously. They have awful systems in place and don't get back. You have to chase them down for answers.

Andrew Helms (BlackBacon): Throughout my wife's pregnancy she met with Kristin at Midwives care. Going with her was the best decision we could've made. She was patient, knowledgeable and kind. 20 hours into labor my wife began pushing, but the baby was face up. After 4 hours of pushing with seemingly no progress most doctors would've called for a cesarean, but Kristin kept by her side offering helpful advice all the way and after her 5th hour of pushing our daughter Olivia was born. Throughout all the stress that comes with childbirth it's important to have someone professional that you trust there to guide you through it.

Levin: Great nurses, especially Ashley and Valerie!
Erica: I just had my baby here recently. I had a cesarean and seemed to be rushed out after a couple of days even after having problems with anesthesia still being present and me going home with a numb leg and foot. I had some good nurses and then I had one that really couldn't be bothered with me and when she did she seemed as though she was fishing for info and assuming.
Miya Edwards: I've had 4 children here and this last experience left the worst taste in my mouth. I was treated very poorly, especially by the last nurse I had and also one of the nurses that was in charge the last night I was there. I usually get surveys sent to my phone after every visit to memorial. I did for this visit too, except when I click on it, the survey is not available (conveniently for them). I guess they'd rather not hear or address my concerns.

Liz Agadi: Andrea has a beautiful gift for accompanying women through delivery! My husband and I were so blessed to have her serve as our doula for the birth of our first child. Andrea went above and beyond to support us during a difficult labor. Her encouraging presence and practical wisdom helped us through multiple twists and turns in our birth story. I also found our preparation meetings really helpful to as we discussed a birth plan and practical preparation tips for our hospital stay. I strongly recommend her!
Katlyn Cramer: Andrea was an amazing doula. With this being our first child and having to navigate through a pandemic, there was worries galore! She went above and beyond with answering questions, providing us information, and making sure she was able to be there by our side during labor and delivery! She will not disappoint you!
Katie Bennett: After a challenging marathon of a first birth, my husband and I knew we needed more support for our second. Having Andrea as our doula was definitely the right choice! Because the birth of our son was fast and furious, the support she offered ended up being primarily during pregnancy, but it was nevertheless invaluable. This was our rainbow baby (pregnancy after loss), and Andrea walked with me through all of the conflicted emotions from the day I lost our daughter to the day our son was born. I cannot speak highly enough of the strength she lent me during my pregnancy and delivery. During labor, she helped me relax and worked seemlessly with the rest of the birth team. Plus, she got coffee for my husband while I was in labor- it's the little things!We love Andrea and would recommend her to anyone seeking a doula.

Jess: I was so worried during my (first) pregnancy. I wasn’t ready, was terrified… and had never considered myself having a single mom bone in my body. I’m very glad that I went to the women’s care center. They helped my partner and I through our pregnancy, checked up on us. I was so worried about everything at the beginning and they helped me with everything from helping me find care, emotional support, and help with baby care. The staff confirmed our pregnancy, gave us ultrasounds to track her progress in the first trimester, snd they were beyond caring. They offered so much love and support and I am grateful I went in the day after I found out I was pregnant, because now I have the most beautiful and wonderful miracle.Babies are blessings, and so is the women’s care center and everyone in it 💕.
jessica H: While this center is helpful to some women, it should be noted that this is a what is called a Crisis Pregnancy Center. These facilities are not medical facilities and do not have to comply with HIPPA law. They DO provide services for mother's but do NOT offer assistance in finding abortion providers as preventing abortions is the primary goal of such organizations.

E Burman: What struck me first time I walked into a Women's Care Center was the calm, beautiful space, and then I found out that the counselors are all so welcoming. The Women's Care Center provides pregnant women with a safe, non-judgmental, and (important!) non-coercive place to get all the information they need in order to make their own best decisions.
Mercy Medical Inc: The Women's Care Center is a beautiful and warm environment! Here, you can get free ultrasounds, counseling, pregnancy confirmation, and classes to help you birth/become/live sanely as a parent! I have been personally blessed by their generosity and I so greatly value their presence in the community.

Starting all over the women care center was there for us every step.earning coupons and going to classes helped me be completely prepared for my daughter's birth. Class on Mondays and Tuesdays are continuing to help me with diapers and amazing knowledge. I can't thank them enough.
Christina Cruz: I always have a wonderful experience when I go to the Women's Care Center. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping me through my first pregnancy! in Addition, all services provided by the Women's Care Center are free! You do no have to pay anything to go, they actually give you incentive coupons if you go and visit them, and you can trade in your coupons for items for your baby including diapers, clothes, cribs, car seats, etc!! If it was not for them, I would not be where I am today at 33 weeks pregnant. They have amazing counselors that help you through whatever situation you are in and really personalize and care about you and your well-being. I have Grace Anne as a counselor and she's absolutely amazing! She definitely helped me in all aspects of my pregnancy. I also had Susan who was the nicest nurse do my ultrasounds to check on the growth of my baby. I always feel welcomed and supported every time I go to the Women's Care Center and I will continue to go! Thank you so much for your services!!

We were completely new to the area, and didn't really know where to begin when it came to prenatal care, medicaid, and all the other things that came with expecting a child. They immediately set up an appointment with us and walked us through everything. They also provide free classes where you can earn coupons and buy baby items, which we took full advantage of! Such a wonderful organization!!! I highly recommend them!!!

elizabeth wills: They were positive and supportive of my decision. They backed me up 1000 % I was cold and blood pressure was high. They gave me a blanket heating pad and put me in a room to relax. They helped me with the procedure I am most grateful to Dr o for being patient and understanding!!

Mitchell A MIIN: It’s clear nearly all the negative reviews here are by people who are opposed to legal abortion, and who have never used the clinic’s services. And they are all just parroting the same talking point; the reason the clinic is currently “unlicensed” is because of the numerous unjust roadblocks the state, and various pro-birth outfits have put in the clinic’s way — so much so a court had to allow them to operate temporarily without one. Then the court case was delayed again, last year, because of the pandemic. The court case is finally getting underway again this week.Whole Woman’s Health Clinic provides an immensely valuable service to Michiana, as attested to by hundreds of women here.
Kelly Pickell: This place is such a blessing! The staff is always courteous and informative. There were even volunteers outside with bright umbrellas helping guide us in. Thank God for clinics like this.

They provide excellent care, even with aggressive protesters outside. Fortunately, there are volunteers there to help patients enter and exit the building without being harassed.
