Todd Woelfer: At 55, I’ve been a mid teens golfer my whole life. I tried lessons several times but they never resonated. The terminology and concepts seemed like I needed to take a masters course to understand what was being taught. Recently, my game fell apart for reasons that I didn’t understand. I took lessons from Matt on a recommendation from a friend. Matt spoke in simple understandable terms and made the game much easier for me. At 55, I’ve shot my lowest score because of Matt and I’m still dialing it in. Most importantly, though, he made the game fun for me again. I never leave reviews like this but Matt’s method is incredibly effective and I strongly recommend him as an instructor.

brad davis: As a mini-golf fan, not big boy golf, this place was impressive even to me. No mats or rubber tees here to practice on...only green grass. Great place to come tear up if youre just learning and only have 2.5 mismatched clubs in your bag.(You're welcome Sheyks)

Mitchell Grooms: Just played the icebreaker. No incentive holes, no one out dictating pace, and ran out of food for a 2 day tournament. 3 stars because this is still an incredibly well maintained course, but wow this tournament was a dissapointment.

Brandon Glick: Blackthorne is a great course. The only knock I had was feeling rushed. My brother and I played with our dad for the first time in over 20 years, us both living out of state... Even though we had a good time being together, it was frustrating being pushed when we were playing a fast as we could. There were other factors that led to slower play which we explained, just to be clear.
