Lucas Nikkel: My 3 kids and I went ice skating today and it was a lot of fun. I love the park is big and has lots of entertainment for kids and some for adult as the restaurants are there, fire places, and snack bar. One of our favorites places we visit frequently.

Matt: Very nice park with Ice Skating and a large playground for kids. Plenty of places to sit and relax. A restaurant is onsite and there are plenty of food options within walking distance. They have a statue of Harriet Tubman and a river walk section with tons of history. There is a curling board and plenty of open space to spread out a blanket or ride a bike around the park.

Kelly Gaylord: Howard Park is a very fun, modern, and clean place to go ice skating, walk around, sit by the firepits (in the winter), or check out the playground. It is a very popular spot and thus can be very crowded, so plan ahead! Super cute place that I love to go with my friends :)

Daniel Wilde: Howard Park used to be an amazing park, with huge, beautiful, 100+ year old trees. Almost all of them were chopped down to make way for tons and tons of concrete. But I mean, that's what parks are all about right? The beauty of nature is soooo last year. This is the park of the future.

D. R. Hamman: Restrooms: Public Restrooms, The last time I was there in, Nov. 2022, There was NO Public Restrooms, that was a permeant structure (But our Parks Dept. Do have the portable restrooms that they move around by truck.) Though I prefer going home, if I need to do a #2!!! I like a very clean Restroom! And No Public Restroom is ever that Clean! Too many people who just don't care! Otherwise taking a leak there is ok. (Speaking for the Guys; of Course!) The portable restrooms usually look clean, But that's for You to Decide if You want to use them. Of course when Mother Nature Comes A Calling, She Doesn't Always Give You Much Time To Decide What To Do!!!

Richard Barrett: Lovely park, plenty of shade. Not close to traffic. Space for grilling, and throwing a Frisbee. Safe play area for the little ones. Great rate for the pavilion for larger gatherings. Simply a great park.

Cynthia Marvin: Surprise on me ! Rented a pavilion for grad/birthday party. Grill access. Open area with roof. Trash cans. Restrooms. Playground equipment for the kids. Did not use the splash pad. Clean friendly area. There are basketball courts and tennis courts. Everyone was respectful and enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend.

Beth: I go to this park quite often and walk my dog so he can get his exercise and sometimes if the waters running and there’s no little kids around I let him run through the water to cool off when it’s hot outside and he really likes to do that but it’s on a rare occasion. I think for the most part it’s a quiet area and it’s peaceful to walk around .
