Not only is he a LIAR, but he is also a SISSY. Called him out in front of 2 customers and his employee. Straight up little girl! Stay away, far away. He is a JOKE of a business person and a JOKE of a man. I want to leave -1 stars but not even allowed to leave a 0. Lack of accountability is a HUGE problem. You know who I am. You have my contact info, but just in case, on Facebook and Twitter. Look me up girly boy. You and your kind disgust me!

Brad O: I've had nothing but problems with my Leer topper, the lack quality is astonishing. Every window leaks and the gaps around the rear frame are large enough i can fit multiple fingers through, i found parts of the hatch frame bent from what looks like lack of care in shipping. The carpet headliner started coming unglued within 6 months. If i could return it I would but unfortunately I'm stuck with it. I'll never recommend Leer.

Gil P: Ordered a new cap in December 2020 when I got it all of the windows and brake light leaked as well as the cap itself wasn't molded even closely symmetrical from the left to right side. It took 5 months of fighting to get my money back. Very slow responses from them. Very very poor customer service I will never buy or own a leer product again
Anthony Defrancesco: do not for a minute think that Leer products are any good. i have had issues with mine since day 1, and their customer service will not answer the phone, return voice mails, or return emails. they know that they sell bad products and are tired of facing the facts. save your money, plenty of other good caps, and tonneau covers out there. leer is a disgrace.

Jason Lowery: I have been a Leer dealer for almost 20 years. Once upon a time Leer offered a quality product that fit great and was worth paying a little extra over the competitors product. Over the past 5 years I have seen such a decline in the company's operations, I can no longer in good faith offer their products for sale. Their customer service team is the absolute worst in the industry. They decided a year or so ago to fire all of the senior staff and replaced them all with the people who have zero experience with fiberglass truck caps. Ordering replacement parts usually takes several weeks and multiple shipments to get correct. Build times continue to get longer and longer. Caps are delivered on a regular basis with major defects and flaws that are unsellable and should have been easily visible prior to loading. The staff is too lazy to care and they just try to push the product out the door making it somebody else's problem. Continued complaints with sales reps go unanswered or are full of the same excuses time after time.I am also a dealer for a competing product, with little to no issues from them for a product that is produced faster and at a much cheaper price.Leer's problems have started to drag my reputation down that I have worked 42 years to build, and I will no longer stand for it. I beg you, if you are in the market for a truck cap, please do your research and choose wisely.

Dealers or corporate will not do nothing to help with offers to promote a sale, all they do is get the book out & figure the price, no discussions or anything. Take it or leave it mentality, too bad DesMoines, IA. area doesn't have any honest dealers anymore. I have since bought a competitors truck cap, with a savings of about 500.00 dollars! What people don't realize is that the components all come from the same place, Creation Windows supplies all the manufactures. All the rest is a fiberglass molding process. PERIOD.
Pat Kelley: I honestly hesitated writing a review for my Leer 122 Topper. My reasons for it were not so much the topper but the lack of customer service. I have been calling my dealer over an issue with my topper over the last month. I also found the TAG phone number and called it and finally got to speak to a gentleman named Joe. He asked me to send him pictures. Now you have to realize that my dealer has been calling and leaving messages with Joe for a month and he has yet to return a phone call about this issue. Joe did talk to me and I did send the pictures. Someone cut the opening for the door too big and the door will not cover the opening. I know it does not take that long to look at a photo and I am not saying I am the only customer he has but after a month you would think he could take the time and take care of the issue. They have options. They can have it sent back and see that it is what I said which means they have to build a new one since I do not think they make the doors. someone else does. They could also just say you know what we messed up and we will give you your money back since it was out fault. I am now going to go through a summer without the use of the topper since I cant use it due to the amount it leaks water at the window. Everything on the floor is wet after a rain which really is why I put the topper on in the first place. It would be nice if someone at Leer would read these and ask why it is taking so long. I have nothing against my dealer he has done everything he can. He cant make Joe return a phone call. I had heard Leer was true to the guarantee and I expected nothing less than that. I guess I was wrong. First LEER product I have owned. I cant say right now that I would do that again. Not because of the topper itself. Everyone makes mistakes and they can rectify it. It would simply be because they do not care to return a phone call and keep the customer happy. Rick Resh: After having other leer products, I am soooo disappointed with my new leer cap, specifically the craftsmanship. Mostly on the back hatch, looks like someone took a chop saw and trimmed the door, just ridiculous!
Brian Bechtol: This has to be the lowest quality American made product I have purchased in a very long time. I could understand some of these flaws if the purchase price was less, but for the amount of money paid, this is disappointing. Obvious paint flaw, huge gouge in back window skirt, headliner not installed correctly, glass hinges loose and latches not adjusted properly. The list goes on. The profit margin on the must be huge, because there is no way this topper shell is worth what I paid for it.
SiG Man: Quality has disappeared from leer. Never had so many problems. All hardware related. Struts quit after a few years, left hinge snapped, cheap cable came off. Then today the lock pulled right out. Bought from a guy at work who babied it, but since I'm not the original owner, they refuse to take care of the issues. Buyer Beware!!!

No pictures I have seen in the literature or online shows this bad look, yet LEER is not willing to accept their responsibility. So bad workmanship and poor customer service. BUYERS BEWARE!

This was rhe second time this has happened. The owner jody flipped out on me and told me to leave the property as he was tired of me complaining. He was screaming and In my faceCrazy acting. I was honestly scared - i a had to actually call the elkhart police dept and it's now on file there.other customers witnessed this and asked about the situation and stated they may not were come back if he is going to treat customers like that - he then exploded further.They stated my cap was out of warranty and wanted me to pay them - so i have called leer and they have a 5 yr warranty and are now sending me new shocks.I would think twiceAbout your safety and supporting this company .they do have a history of this if you dig Around but they also have a lot of friends and family that support them so it looks better than it really is sometimes.

Bryan Byers: I ordered a tonneau cover online and tried to install it myself. I wasn't confident that I correctly installed it. I called LC Sales to see if they could take a look at what I had done and see if it was correctly installed. They told me to swing by and they would take a quick look at it. I stopped by and they pointed out the mistakes I made and told me how to fix it. I went home and still couldn't figure it out on my own. I scheduled an appointment and brought it back to LC Sales. They had it fixed in less than 45 minutes. In hindsight, I wish I had just ordered directly from them. Would have saved me a lot of time and the stress. They had the exact same tonneau in their shop for the same price I had bought it for online and they offer free installation. Lesson learned...use the experts at LC Sales next time! Highly recommend. They were able to get a tonneau cover for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma in 13 days which matches the contour lines on the from good. Who else can do that. They had it on in less than 30 minutes. The place is awesome, they have never let me down.

Mitch David: Worst costumer service I have ever dealt with. I contacted deal twice over a month wait for them to try and get a part. Never called me back. Finally got a hold of them and said they couldn’t get any answers from factory. I have emailed factory and got one response in 2 months. I have also left probably 5 voice mails and no one will ever return my call. Also never can get a live person to answer the phone. You Always have to leave messages with no response.

She provided me with several distributors in the area. I asked for an engineer and was forwarded to a VM. Left a detailed VM. Tech support from California was very helpful in making my decision along with a stop at a dealership. After seeing a new Sahara Jeep with the updated removable top I am intrigued to see if this will be like the Leer topper for the Jeep Gladiator. Thank you for the support! Lon Barillari: Wish i could give them less than 1 star. Bought a tonneau cover for a customer of mine. 1 week in he has issues with the way it opens and its already started breaking. Ive called in around 10 times, when i finally got a call back from the girl in customer service she was rude and short with me. Finally got ahold of a gentleman named Scott who handles RMA thru distributors and he told me to email him a copy of my invoice and a picture of the customers serial # tag. That was 4 days ago and i have yet to hear back from anyone despite numerous phone calls and email. Do yourself a favor and go buy an extang cover the people who work here are bums and treat the customers like they wont take their truck accessory business elsewhere

Brian Ward: One of worst experiences I ever had as a customer with a company. Ordered the Leer truck cap through a reputable dealer and when it arrived, it couldn't even be attached to the truck bed due to poor construction. Dealer took pictures and sent them to Leer explaining problem. TAG or Leer wouldn't do anything and didnt believe the dealer. They ignored the problem for 10 days and only decided to build another one after dealer complained. I needed this truck cap by July 11, 2019 for a trip and still hasn't arrived with the replacement. Horrible customer service and arrogant too!!!
Dennis Frazier: I have had four pickups and four Leer toppers. My current is a 2002 Chevy with a Leer tonneau cover I bought right after I bought the truck.A couple of years back, the paint started peeling off. I checked my "Limited" lifetime warranty and this was covered and acknowledged by a rep of Leer. I could not find my original sales slip. I sent Leer a picture of the metal name plate attached to the cover, which should identify me as the original owner. That was not good enough. I guess Leer doesn't care that my peeling cover is a rolling testimony to the quality one can expect over time.
