Jonathan: I went to get my oil change on this pass Saturday. I was told that I had a engine leak. So I thought I sent spots under my car on Sunday. So I called and spoke to Derek the store manager. He told me to bring it in. If I couldn't get it there. He would send someone to me. I got the my car to them. So it was a misunderstanding. They check everything out for me. Had previous work done by another Auto shop that didn't complete the service correctly, came here to Midas and they corrected what was needed. I trust this place for services for now on and will go to them for anything I need done with my vehicle. Don Z. Unger: The car showed a "Low Tir Pressure" warning, and I swung to this Midas Shiop today. I live an hour from this place and only had a little time to wait. The nice lady at the desk told me she would see what she could do for me. After 10-15 minutes, they took my car in! They found a large screw in the tire. The service technician brought the tire to the waiting area to show me the screw in the tire. The technician repaired it quickly, and I was good to go. The person at the front desk told me I did not have to pay for repair!!! I am glad I gave at least the technician a tip before he returned to the shop. What a great group of people. Stefan Lula: No hassle repair shop. They will tell you what needs to be done, and what doesn't. They won't do unnecessary "repairs" just to charge the customer more. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and can help you get cheap service that's not dodgy like the other guys.

Jango IG88: I first visited Deans thirty five years ago when I was 14 years old. The place has not changed since. My mentor teacher and friend the late great Charles T. Goodman would have his Volkswagen van serviced and maintained here so the Riley High School Speech and Debate team could travel the state of Indiana all year and compete. The service as always is extraordinary. The mechanical staff are honest knowledgeable and friendly. They never lie or attempt to over charge or trick you into a service or part that is not needed. They offer competitive pricing in high octane gasoline and sell quality car care products. The selection of soft drinks is as impressive as it was in 1983.Attend!!!!!!

Watchdog Trailers: I brought my work truck in for a few issues and they fixed it right up. I dropped the truck off around 10am for a radiator fan issue, oil change, and to check a vibration at higher speeds. The day started getting away from me and I needed the truck so I called to check on it a little after noon and they were wrapping it up. The price was absolutely fair. I will be bring my truck back to them in the future and recommending our other work trucks get serviced there as well. Susan Ward: They started working on my car BEFORE giving me an estimate or getting my permission. This is an older vehicle which we were trying to decide if it was worth fixing. I will NOT be using their services in the future. After more than a decade of being loyal customers it saddens me that I will have to find somewhere else for my car repairs. It is NOT the same after the former owners sold out. I used to feel confident in the service and treatment but now it feels like the same run-around you get at a dealership where all they want is to upsell. **** PLEASES NOTE: After my review, I was contacted by Central Automotive and we had a converstaion about my experience. I am happy to report that they were very generous in refunding some of my expenses for the unauthorized work. Mauro Prina: Got a quote from the shop for parts that were 2.5x the cost of the place they were getting them… and that does not even include the discount they would get from NAPA or similar for the parts. Unacceptable.

Don't Write Down, Printup: Best mechanic shop if you are a woman or female presenting. Like O'Reilly's they are staffed by grandpas and uncles that really want to see the world have safer cars on the road than just making a buck. I always go there first unless it is an emergency and sure enough only when i take it to anotber mechanic in emergency is when i get ripped off.

They also didnt tighten the lights on my tires and almost lost my tires driving to my friends house to do the break work ourselves (thankfully I did and didnt choose to go through hedman). As for the oil change. Pretty basic. Kind of hard to screw that up. But turns out they didnt tighten my filter down so I just leaked all of my oil out of my car. Here i am thinking it's something else with my oil because i just got an oil change. If i would have drove home without checking for a leak i would have blown my engine. NEVER GO HERE.Edit for your reply:I WATCHED him take all four of my tires off. So you're very wrong about that, sir. As for the filter you said on the phone "maybe it was a bad filter" and I have 2 things to say about that. 1. An oil change means replacing the filter. So if it was a bad filter that means you guys gave me a bad filter. Which once again means it's your fault.And 2. I was at work and had a co worker look at my car and the filter WASNT TIGHTENED DOWN AT ALL. JUST like the lug nuts to my tires so I'm seeing a pattern. You can keep saying "it was a little over two months ago" all you want but yall were the last ones to work on my car besides ME and MY FRIENDS with MY BREAKS. this is your fault. Own up to it.

Devin Mathews: We took our truck in to replace the alternator and the alternator bracket. They could not find the part, so they said we could bring in our own parts and then they refused to fix it for a days after we brought in the parts. And they only did half the job before saying it was done. All this happened after new management came in.

Kimberly Krebs: I wanted to share our story. While we were coming back from PA (heading to WI) our car threw a fit and decided to shut down on I80. After getting help from the tow truck and State Patrol we ended at Car X. David C was such a down to Earth person. His demeanor made the situation less stressful and promised that he would look at our car first thing in the morning. (It was closing time when we got there). The next morning, he touched base with us, told us the problems and after getting the go a head to fix, had my car up and running again within 2 hours. We joked about seeing each other again and I said if I ever had to break down again, I hope it would be near his location. Thank you to everyone at Car X that got my car up and running so we could make it home safely. (My boys also wanted to thank you for the quarters so they could get gum...that was an added plus to wonderful service). God Bless and thanks again!
mel akz: I went in there today 8/22/22 to ask an estimate of my truck. The guy inside was somewhat busy in front of the computer or maybe his playing? I really don’t know what he was doing????As soon as I entered in there tiny office I greeted this guy and I started talking to him regarding my truck. He was not that happy dude when I started talking to him as if I made his day miserable as I might be disturbed him from what his doing. In short.. he has attitude that maybe because I am not a white guy and looks no money for him. This type of worker should not be in there to deal with customers. I drove myself there early at 8 am to make sure people are on a happy mood but not this dude who is VERY RUDE!!!! I wish I am his name.As we talked, he sounds like knows everything and not getting my explanation to him of what happened to my truck. He just simply say… Where is the truck!! Oh I can get estimate!! If you what, to your truck if you want me to do it!!! They certainly use it .Asked for air in my tire cause it was a bit low on air .I was told the compressor is broken and it takes days to fix a flat . It’s Thursday today I was told ,“tire won’t be ready till Tuesday.” That is 5 days to fix a tire. Dan Southworth: CarX in Roseland is my go to place for car service. My original review is 5 years old but again this week they resolved a serpentine belt that failed and fixed our air conditioner that was damaged by the belt failure. My car dealership service has yet to respond to my call for service. CarX always treats me with respect and cost for services are reasonable.
