Bargain Lane - South Bend: what do users think?
Jasen Robert: It is definitely a different kind of shopping experience. On e that I believe everyone who likes to find deals needs to visit.
Tracy Ulloa: Ppl that work there aren't very nice . And it's sad , supposed to enjoy going. Many items are broken and won't know until you buy them and take them home . If the store wants to succeed, try being nicer and take out the broken items
Sarah Bolinger: I understand pallets are an investments and you may come out on top or you may lose some money BUT the pallet said $500 and we got it for $200. He(Issac) said I can guarantee that you can make at least $450 off this pallet. Well I'm sure you could of anything was usable! The double folding table that $180 online, is cracked and broken to where you cannot fix it. The $180 towel warmer will NOT turn on. The insta pot is too far gone where I'd be afraid to even try it. The alternator is cracked, not usable. Alot of the curtain rods were bent or missing pieces. The bath towel hanger has 2 pieces missing so it's not usable. The bath tub lap table is cracked and broken. The towel drying rack is broken. Giant foam thing was dirty and gross. The pool has a holes in it to where it's not able to be patched. Like I said you may come out on top of you may lose "some" money BUT we lost pretty much all our money. Just a Buyer BEWARE is all.
Melinda Lomax: Staff (especially the middle aged woman with the long brown hair, I guess she’s a manager) is so rude. My husband and I not only shop in the bins but buy the big bundled products and have spent hundreds of dollars there. We’re not going back though, they’re just too rude. Today that woman yelled at my 11 year old son because she thought he opened a box. I immediately took control of the situation and corrected him in front of her. She still proceeded to yell and talk to him very aggressively. I had to step in and basically tell her to shut up so she would leave him alone. I almost lost my cool so we left immediately and definitely won’t be back🤷🏻‍♀️
Joslin Stiffler: I absolutely love this place. I have found several great deals here. Be careful though. I have purchased some empty boxes because they won’t let you check the boxes.
Melissa Doolen: It started out fun. Staff and fellow shoppers were friendly. Could find some cool things.Ever since new management took over it has been going downhill.Staff is removing high ticket items from the bins to sell at higher prices, which was not the original point of the store. Staff and fellow shoppers have become rude. New manager was walking around vaping. Staff moves the tables while you're in the middle of searching them and almost run customers over with the tables. Police at the door are on a power trip, targeting women and kids. Tried to bring issues to the attention of upper management and they won't respond to emails. I no longer feel that it's a safe environment for my family.
R Mallard: You have to dig through a lot but you get some real bargains
Shannon Cassler: I enjoy going to this store! I visit at least a couple times a week. With a little patience and a good eye, you can find really awesome deals. Unfortunately it is a gamble on whether the merchandise you buy actually works. You don’t know that until you bring it home and plug it in. However I have purchased many items that have been perfectly fine and much cheaper than what I would’ve paid on Amazon or at the store. The only drawback for me it’s not having carts. The bags get heavy. I also would like to see some of the clothes hung on a rack so you could actually see sizes and design. It’s a super fun place. If you’re one of those people who love the old “grab bags”, this place is for you.
Odididi: The best place in South bend its really fun to go there and you can find whatever you want
Gerardo Garcia: Worst place ever you have to purchase a bag in order to shop ladies who work there are very rude they do not have shopping carts so you have to carry or purchase an ikea bag for $5 each avoid going to this place at all cost! You have a better chance having a good conversation with a homeless than shopping there
