dstowa4483: I am a residential contractor and have a lot of physical pain from years of manual labor. I have herniated disks that cannot be operated on and they make my arms and hands hurt. I experienced some relief after my first visit. He is now helping me with tendinitis in my foot, I couldn’t put any pressure on my foot, after treatment I could almost stand on my foot, it is incredible. I expect that more treatments will help me to heal quicker. Not only can he help you heal physically, ask him about matters of your faith! He is a blessing!

Heather Zoller: Review edit after 2nd visit. Practitioner made comments to my partner during treatment that he "shouldnt let me come here alone" and made comments about my body and attractiveness multiple times even after I explicitly told him to stop. I did not feel safe enough in my body to get any benefit out of the treatment. I would not feel safe enough to go alone. Which means it will never be safe in any circumstance. I will not go back.What powerful medicine. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I would absolutely recommend it. I was comfortable and comforted and it was not just physically healing, but also a mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual experience. My neck and shoulders felt notably more comfortable immediately after and my heart was lightened. You should absolutely go.

Truth Facts: Young Park is unprofessional. He made HIGHLY inappropriate comments...such as telling stories about other clients, asking me not to wear a specific color of underwear at the next appointment because "pink is his thing". I'm pretty sure acupuncturists are not supposed to sit on their clients or lay across their clients while rubbing their legs, but he did. It's amazing he has such high reviews...I know I'm not the only one he's done things like this to. After speaking with other people in the community who perform acupuncture, they have heard similar stories as mine about him. If you've also experienced these things, please report him.

Lynne Barden: Young Park has treated me 3 times so far and I am amazed at his diagnostic techniques. His treatments include acupuncture, massage, and even a type of spinal adjustment. He is concerned with improving long term health. Combining medical and wholistic practices seems to works for me.

Linda Struble: My first time was in 2014 a medical Dr. ordered MRI showed an old tore rotator cuff causing a lot of pain He told me cortisone shot and Tylenolwould help but it only helped a little. I knew I had to find a Acupuncturist. One appointment with Yong Park giving me acupuncture treatment, the next day, I felt 50% better. He is really amazing. I have had treatments for legs, back in 2018. I should have went in 2020 didn't because of pandemic. May 2021 I was having a muscle spasms in my neck and I couldn't sleep, in lots of pain. I was dumb. I called family Dr., gave me prednisone and muscle relaxer, but still had terrible pain for over a week with no relief. Appt with Yong Park, I told him pain in neck, now in lower back. One acupuncture treatment next day, I was feeling so much better. After 2nd treatment I felt almost good as knew. 3rd appt. I told him, I felt good.. He had me point to areas he checked. He pushed on areas and I still had some pain. I am feel like a new person. Why take prescriptions and physical therapy, they don't work. I decided, that I need to have maintenance treatments. He is excellent. I recommend, you make an appointment and get relieved of your pain.

Chris Brennan: My 16 y/o son was suffering from a lower back injury/herniated disc since October 2020. He went through physical therapy, chiropractor, massage, and steroid injection. All of these combined relieved 50% of pain, but still daily pain. Acupuncture has taken the majority of the residual pain away after one treatment. The nicest employees and a template for what I hope my local coop will offer once it opens.Books, fair trade decor, blankets, the cutest Easter gift baskets, candles, the coziest sweatshirts, gluten-free vegan treats, the tastiest curried cashew hummus, kombucha offerings I’ve seen nowhere else, and gf & v hot soup. Okay, they also carry my favorite raw chocolate (Rawmio out of Illinois, not carried at ANY other health food store I’ve been to) and local moisturizers made by the Soapy Gnome and Sai Shakti.*Bernie 👀 has been relocated to the bathroom, causing me a mini heart palpitation when I forgot about him until I noticed him over my shoulder while washing my hands. 😳Oh my word! I stopped in on the way to my Airbnb and couldn’t have made a better decision! Bernie greeted me, beautiful fresh flowers and plants, lovely candles and coffee and vegan, gluten free, sugar free jam (which I’ve never seen for sale in all for my travels) and all the things I’d ever need to enjoy my little mini road trip for work. I’d stay in South Bend again anytime as long as I can visit the Purple Porch!

Megan Boomershine: I am changing my review.In the last few month the store has gone really down hill. A few weeks ago when the temps outside were above 90° the store didn't have the AC on for well over a week. The produce was rotting in the fresh fruit section and fresh veg section amd there was so many bugs flies and gnats. And even still it smells so bad of mold there by the potatoes its enough to take your breath away. The meat case has a horrendous rotten smell now by the chicken. The milk case has a bad smell now too. The new store manager doesnt seem to care about cleaning like the old one did. Its getting kinda nasty. I am worried the store will end up getting closed down because of his horrible oversights in cleanliness. Before customer service was always opened now its closed several days a week. Ive gotten big cuts of beef that cost over 20$ that have been bad when I open them to cook them but didnt look rotten but smell so bad when I opened the package. Also Ive bought baked goods that have been moldy when I open it. This never was an issue under the other mans watch. I dont know the new manager but its obvious someone new has taken over and he doesnt have the same values as the previous store manager. That smell in the fruit and veg department makes you almost sick. I'm worried the store will end up closed down if this keeps up. Please please address this issue District management. Our community needs this store. I love shopping there but I'm close to going to a new location and that makes me feel so sad.
