We only opened our doors a year and a half ago, but we have spent years planning this business. This store has been my dream for almost 15 years and building it here in Michiana was always the goal. I’ve been a part of this community my entire life; I was born and raised on the west side of South Bend and graduated from Washington High School in 2008. Soon afterwards I met the love of my life, and we started a family together. I then began my career in the meat industry and developed a passion for it and decided to dedicate myself to learning everything I could to advance my career.

During that time, I gained experience in many different retail settings including supermarkets, large chain stores, and small meat markets. I became inspired by my mentors and learned everything there is to know from the best in the business. I continued to excel through my career until the day I knew I had gained enough experience to turn my dream into a reality. Our goal was to take everything I had learned and offer the community an experience unlike any other in this area; an experience that was honest and transparent regardless of the outcome; and an experience that was “Nothing Less” than our customers deserved.

We are truly a family owned and operated business: Hannah, my beautiful wife and mother of our three children, supports me in-store and at home; Marcella, my mother-in-law, selflessly put her career on hold to help us day in and day out; my three children, who help bring joy during the ups and downs of starting a business and understand and support how hard we are working to build them a bright future; and Bob, my father-in-law and partner, the mind behind the concept, the build, and the kitchen our customers have fallen in love with. He works tirelessly putting his heart and soul into everything we do right alongside me.

I am thankful for our incredible staff. We’ve spent many long hours together, renovating our 15,000 square foot store, planning how best to serve the community, and building something to last. Kenny Zielinski, Ben Ujdak, and Ross Ricci- You all have been with us since the beginning and have put everything into this venture like family. Thank you for everything you have done to get us to where we are today.
