Its because Dr Mo waltzed into my cubicle and shot my mouth up--professionally, and waltzed out--presumably to shoot somebody else up. I have to give credit to Megan for the job of preparing my mouth for my departure. Walking through the corridor to my cubicle was comfortable because of the smiles of staff members---Alyssa, Dani, Cynthia, Morgan, and Brooklyn! Diana, I haven't forgotten you and Nanette, who bring a welcoming ambience to the waiting room! All 10's.

Jeff Powers: The Dentist does good work, but the policy where you have to call to confirm your appointment every time is an unnecessary hassle. The office will call repeatedly to hassle you until you call them back to confirm. A txt message with a Y to confirm would suffice. For that reason, I will not be using Aspen Dental anymore and will go with someone a little less corporate.

I read all reviews about everything I buy or do and it was no different when I decided to give Aspen Dental a try...For one thing...they took my insurance and that was a big deal. Here's how I knew! I called them to inquire about my insurance...no answer...I left a message and received a call back from an employee associated with their 800 operators...not the local people I had called. I was questioning her about the use of my insurance and what it covered...the operator told me I had to schedule my appt first and then wait for a call from the local office to discuss whether or not I was covered and for what and how much. Seemed counter productive as I did not want an appointment if my insurance did not work. No one called me so the next day I stopped in and gave them a copy of my insurance info. Did not hear anything back. Called twice the next day and finally received a call Saturday...two days before my appt. Monday morning. The employee informed me I had a 3000 dollar coverage and was good to go...Firstly...I have been very nervous about Aspen as a friend of mine went and ended up very dissatisfied. Terrible dentures that were 2x to big for her mouth She looked like a cartoon character...they never did get it right. I read a multitude of reviews online...which you have to actively look for as Aspen does not put them on their website for obvious reasons. They are all 2 stars and below. I STILL went today and I should be put in a nut house for doing all this due diligence and still giving these grifters a chance. I received xrays before I could even talk finances.. Now.. I am there for replacement dentures. Dr comes in for 25 seconds and recommends dentures! She said impressions were next! I said I wanted to talk money first...I took my old dentures out to get xrayed..what do they mean the Dr recommends dentures??? I wasn't there for a recommendation...I was there to get a replacement. I went back to the "finance" office and I told her I was familiar with the prices and wanted the best denture my policy would pay for as I had called and was told we had 3k to work with..but nope...here's the bait and switch..my insurance supposedly only covers the cheapies. Why do you suppose they did not tell me that on the phone? They knew why I was coming in. My guess is to get xray fees from my insurance which I was not in need of at that point. I will be contacting my insurance company and BBB.

Adrienne Robinson: Last week, I brought in my daughter as we are beginning our new patient relationship with this establishment. The staff was nice, attentive, and very patient focused. My daughter, who is 13, was being explained in full detail about her service, treatments, and after care. Dr. Mo treated her like a person who was able to comprehend and asked her if "she" had questions. That made me feel really good and it also made my daughter feel good.Now, she is excited to do her follow-up because she feels very important in her dental care decision making.Today, I had my first patient appointment and again, I was treated with respect, empathy, and they really listened to me. Dr. Mo again was extremely nice and explanative with my care, treatment and aftercare.The entire staff, Dr. Mo, Megan, Alyssa, and Nanette were all amazingly nice, compassionate, and really respectful. They did not talk down to me because of my lack of dental care. Instead, they reassured me that I can fix my problems and were very compassionate and patient.I can't wait to get my million dollar smile back. They all deserve a perfect 10!

MsVampiress16: Wonderful, friendly staff that get straight down to business and who made sure I understood everything. It was a great experience and I look forward to my upcoming visits. Mercy was kind and gentle with my x-rays, plus she kept telling me my eyes were pretty. I was having a pretty bad day and really needed to hear it. Megan was calm and attentive to my needs. Alyssa was knowledgeable and informative, plus made great eye contact. Dr. Mo was straightforward and no nonsense. And Nanette was very relatable and understanding about my schedule. You should really be proud of your team!

Jacob Lovett: I set an appointment on the emergency line without an account with them. I was in there as a patient and given great advice on further tooth protection and given an extraction that day. All my hygienists were great and I got about as quick of care as I could have hoped for on short notice.As I side note I would consider setting up an account before an emergency arises because you’re more likely to get quick service for an extraction if you do that beforehand, regardless of insurance status.Also extraction service wasn’t as expensive as I had feared.

Evan Stevenson: I would get them to give you a price before you have any services done. I gave them my insurance like you do all dentists and they told me my insurance was good, they did not say my insurance was out of network and it would be more expensive than if I went to a dentist in network. It is my fault I didn’t find a dentist in network but I feel as if I was taken advantage of when I was hit with a bill of over 500$ for a cleaning. They should have at least told me before hand that I was not in network because 10/10 people would’ve not had the services done and would find another dentist. They were very nice I will say that but when I called to dispute the charges they claimed all they could do was give me a 5$ discount because it’s not their fault they were out of network.

Merrisa ღ: I haven't been to the dentist in awhile and I really do hate going. I had my first appointment here and just for a routine cleaning. The wait time was very quick, maybe about ten minutes. The lobby seemed clean and the receptionist was very friendly. The assistant doing my x-rays was very patient. The process was quick and I'm very happy with all of my results. The doctor took off a calculus bridge spanning three of my teeth and the assistant did a wonderful polish and touch up. Although it was mildly painful and I feel some parts were rough. They accepted my insurance (Medicaid) and I got a free toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste.

Sarah Ward: This place is the WORST! If I could give it negative stars I would. I honestly believe they do not value anyone with Medicaid. I sat for almost 2 hours after my scheduled appointment before I was taken back. Then another hour or so before the dentist came in to my room to see me. I had a hole in my very back tooth that was really painful. They wanted to do a root canal on it even though it already had a root canal🤦🏻‍♀️. It broke because chemo messed up my mouth. She wanted me to wait to reschedule it but my mouth was hurting so bad I said to just pull it. When she went to numb me she did not use any topical first. Stabbed me right in my tongue 3 times. It was awful. She was so rough with my other teeth while pulling it. I thought she was going to break my front teeth. She actually ended up cracking my crown next to the tooth being pulled and refused to fix it for free even though she broke it. The only thing she would do is grind it down so it stopped stabbing me. The worst part of this ordeal is that after the numbing wore off I felt something sharp stabbing my tongue. I went to the ER because the pain was intense and they didn't give anything for pain after my extraction even though I told them I can absolutely not take Ibuprofen because I had colorectal cancer. She then just said it's going to be rough holiday and weekend then. The ER took X-rays and found that she (the dentist) actually cracked my jaw somehow and a piece is stabbing out my gums and poking my tongue. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. I'm a week out from it and my pain is insane. DO NOT GO HERE. THIS PLACE IS JUST THE WORST.

Carl Daley: Was referred by a friend to this place-horrible mistake! Went for a cleaning, x-ray machine was broken, staff seemed confused. very painful process. I gave them my insurance info as I was leaving and was told I didn't owe anything for the visit. I never received a bill saying otherwise. 2 YEARS LATER I receive a notice from a collection agency telling me that I owe for services and fees for this visit. Called and spoke to their office/ billing department-was told to call back the next day and they kept saying I was sent a bill, tried several times to call them-no response/ goes to voice mail. Pathetic service and I would never recommend this place.

She still has NO dentures.Terrible service!

I am normally not a fan of the dentist but Mahoney is so confident in his staff and his knowledge I go in totally relaxed and at ease. He is extremely personable and cares about solving the root of problems and not only treating symptoms. He even went above and beyond to help me find the right person for me to work with for my TMJ (jaw issue) and wanted me to keep him in the loop.

Horrible experience after that, the receptionist and Dr. Celis are both VERY unprofessional! NEVER in my life have I had a doctor hang up on me. Soulfully Planted: I went to Dr. Celis as a child and have been wanting to go back for years! Finally got the right insurance and just recently took my daughter there as well. I absolutely love the treatment and staff. Being to many different dentists I’ve seen things I didn’t like and they aren’t always patient with kids. The dentist isn’t a pleasant place for most so having a positive attitude and environment means 100 percent a lot when choosing a dental office. My daughter has went from dreading the dentist to loving it! They take good care of you, urgently if needed. I’m so glad I could re-establish with them. You’ll never forget how someone treats you and 7 years later nothing has changed. Highly recommend for your family.

Her staff are very friendly and helpful and always greet me with a smile. Her dental assistants are very knowledgeable and made my visit a pleasant experience. I have a very similar-ish bad experience with the last review!I checked first with the clerk over the phone, and he told me that I would not pay anything and my insurance covers all costs after he checked my insurance plan.When the assistant was checking my teeth, she wanted me to take an x-ray so they can see the wisdom teeth better. (which was weird, all my previous dentists in Germany and the USA could see them without any x-rays)I asked her and stressed that I do NOT want to pay anything and asked her to make sure that I will not be charged at all for whatever she offers me, especially the x-ray, based on my insurance plan! And she said, "You will not be charged at all"!In the end, they charged me about $77, and I think it was planned. It was not a mistake of one person so that I can admit it was a human's mistake. It was definitely more than a mistake. I wish it were not planned, and I was not lied to!I am a doctor in engineering, and I do not have financial problems, but the way I was treated made me highly upset, and my feelings hurt! I would not recommend anyone to go there.I wish they were honest and did not assume people are stupid! If I could give this review a 0, I would.

Paris Lee: I received a bill for x ray’s that was supposedly covered by my insurance.When I set up the appointment for this office. I told the front desk clerk that I wanted a cleaning for my husband and I. She said ok and booked the appointment. When I got there for my appointment the assistant said I needed x rays for first time patience. I said I didn’t want the X-rays just a cleaning. The assistant and doctor said they can’t see me without doing the x rays. Before I sat in the dental chair, I asked the assistant and doctor to make sure my insurance cover this. The assistance and doctor came back with papers saying I was covered. Now I have a bill because I was lied to. I am highly upset and would not recommend anyone go here if you have Cigna insurance and a new patient.To make matters worst, I didn’t get the cleaning that day but instead they informed me that I needed to book a cleaning appointment for another day. What a waste of time.This office gives missing information, not fast and costly.If I could give this review a FAT 0 I would. Overall 0/5.

Everything was organized very well and they did everything possible to make sure I felt no pain and was as comfortable as I could possibly be.
