Michael Wood: I have been a customer for many years, and this company has helped me through so many different situations, from dealing with my mother's insurance needs as they changed through the progression of dementia, to having my teen child's needs change from student driver, to young adult with a "complicated" driving record, as well as our own changing home, auto, and other insurance needs. Jon Figueroa: Customer service when it really counts was there to help with paying attention when an automated bank transaction was NOT properly executed on the First Merchants Bank’s behalf. My bank statement showed the transaction posted however it really never was executed by the bank. I called the bank and they visually verified the transaction. however Horton caught the missed transaction. Horton ask me for a confirmation number from the bank just to make sure the bank executed the transaction like they insisted. After speaking and holding for roughly an hour and a half the bank could NOT come up with a confirmation number. So the whole transaction was processed again and this time it did get processed. By this time my flood policy lapsed and Horton had to create another policy for me. Thank God nothing tragic happened as I thought I was covered but I really wasn’t unbeknown to me. Thanks Horton for watching out and keeping me safe and sound.
