Beacon Medical Group Dermatology Ireland Road: what do users think?
Rebecca Carter: It was our first time there and they are friendly and full of advices. My family member was afraid and they made him feel comfortable. The ones who were in the waiting room were even cared for I was a good experience considering why we were there.
Sue Jones-Herrera: Nurse shelly is amazing and intelligent i would give her a 5 personally, however, if your going for cosmetic purposes only then go, if its serious, dont waste your time, I told Maddox about a serious problem with my arms 100% she looked all over me to document my black moles but NEVER LOOKED AT MY ARMS, THE PROBLEM, AND SAID YOUR FINE!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Maddox said "I never heard of what your talking about, instead of saying IDK i better research that she literally said I DONT KNOW BUT YOUR FINE!!!! WHAT?!!! IM BLOWN AWAY.Again, NURSE SHELLY IS A 5!!! Intelligent and bed side manner that youve never had the pleasure of she is amazing! thank u nurse shelly. EVERYONE ELSE RATE -0. RUN
Theresa “Mzfabulous” Hensel: Very friendly staff
Kevin Johnson: I am a patient of Jill Maddox at this location and she is awesome. The staff is friendly and on point. Disregard the 1 star review from PjB below. Not being able to get a free COVID shot and seeing a Dermatologist have nothing to do with each other. I have been a patient for a few years and highly recommend.
Hope Diane Widner: My dermatologist is very attentive and explains everything shes doing for my issue.
Roger Walterhouse: In and out with no problems. Very courteous front desk staff. Very clean/modern. Great experience!

South Bend Clinic Dermatology: what do users think?
Carol Piwoszkin: Blue light treatment appeared not done according to the procedure protocol and was minimally successful. Medicare coverage only paid for part of the $1000 charge.
liss: Everyone is so nice here, always a chill experience 😌
Lex Wess: The providers are excellent! The front desk receptionists are rude, unprofessional and moody. I have been there several times and each time the front desk seems to be upset that they have to check a patient in and stop their personal conversations. They are short with me and rude. Even though not one of the three has a patient they look at me stand by the “wait here to be called!” sign for several minutes. They are snippy and full of attitude. Last time I was there she asked me to tell her my full address and phone number out loud, but asked everyone after me for just the house number and last four of their phone number. Not sure why the 3 receptionists have such a nasty attitude? Be more friendly ladies you are the first face patients see and are a representative of your business!
Reñove Compusic: If you want to be appreciated, please give us reasons to appreciate.
Christina Renae: My dermatologist is incredible; the facility is great, however, I have had a single bad experience with one of the receptionists. There is, obviously, a quite a bit more to the case, this is simply a summary.I had asked a question, her answering it with an answer anyone could have assumed. I had then asked the same question in different words to see if that brought recognition of the question being in need of one with more knowledge of prescription gels. She went on telling me the answer again, then upon my statement that the question i had asked was going unrecognized, she shared that she is going to "end the call if I kept talking over her."(In my head) *Says, of course, the one talking over me.*I had gotten frustrated at this point, still watching my vibe, and asked the question I had originally asked in the most elementary way possible. She got smart with me again, and upon my acknowledgement of that had threatened, again, to leave a message of how I had been acting, for the dermatologist and end the call.So rather complete the small, very similar, task I'd xalled in for her to do, a note to the dermatologist, she wasn't going to, instead, leave her a message that boosts her ego, appreciation, experience, etc.As a CNA, if I could tell her one thing:Watch your approach and maintain a good attitude if ever, especially if employed, in any facility.
Dalana McCain: Honestly, This office is full of some of the Rudest people I have ever talked to in my life. Maddison (who answers the phones) had an attitude right away and even cut me off as i was asking a question. I have had to call MULTIPLE times in a month for something and it never gets done. Then when i call and call and call they get annoyed. I am very disappointed with this office, as it came highly recommended.
Kelly K: I feel the clinic on the whole is very good, however, today I had an unpleasant experience. One of the ladies that assists the doctors was rude and definitely not displaying professionalism, care or concern for me or my two kids (both had appointments). It seemed to me that she was more concerned about getting her typing done for the day than she was about my son who was having a little anxiety about being left in the room alone while I went in the room next to his to be with his brother. I was trying to explain to my son that I would be right next-door with his brother. This person was rude and was basically rushing me out of the room so that she could get back to typing. She acted like I was annoying her and like I was unreasonable for wanting to make sure my son was okay. She was even what I would call a little snarky which kind of ticked me off . All of my other interactions at the clinic have been positive, unfortunately this was not. I really did not appreciate this and I think it should be addressed. I don’t feel it is unreasonable to give a mother a second to address a child having a little anxiety.

They make things so simple from start to finish and even email you notes off all the things discussed at your appointment so you won't forget the details. Finding service that comes with care, compassion and efficiency can be hard to come by so if you are looking for a dermatologist do not pass Trayam Dermatology up!
Zachary Eberhart: Can't say enough good things about my experience at Trayam! Easy scheduling, welcoming and attentive staff, and great, affordable care. I can't speak to all of the different services that they offer, but for a quick consultation and prescription, making an appointment with Holly was so much more convenient than going through a big clinic.

The South Bend Clinic: what do users think?
Tyler Neely: My wife called in December as a new patient with health concerns and made an appointment for March (earliest available). She arrived on time for her appointment and they didn’t have her in the schedule. Turns out they switched their scheduling system and never transferred her to the new system. So they said they’d leave a note for the physician. My wife never got a call, so she called them. They told her that they did call and left a voicemail, but they hadn’t. They said okay, we’ll leave another note and call again, but nothing so far. All the while, dealing with health concerns. Professionalism and good communication would go a long way, even with the mistakes that were made, but I guess that isn’t important to this staff.
Frank Spesia: The South Bend Clinic has failed numerous times to file routine paperwork and prescriptions. This has has resulted in dangerous delays to care for my diabetes. Calling the office is useless, as they have outsourced their phone system to an offsite third party - so once you navigate the long hold times, you still won't speak to anyone with medical expertise or even anyone on site at the office. I have asked for my doctor to call me back, and those requests are either ignored or delegated to a nurse. I wrote a bad review before and was contacted by my physician with a request to take it down - the first and last time that my doctor at the South Bend Clinic has called me back.Stay away from this place if you have chronic medical needs or like being able to communicate with your physician.
Andrea: I love Dr. Sara Bajuyo! She is amazing and I wish I could give her 10 stars!! She gives excellent care and also cares about her patients and her nurse is also great❤️
Christine Mighion: I really like Dr. Bajuyo and have always felt confident in having her care for my family. The new system with using call center to communicate is awful! I made an appointment for my son while he would be in town over break. I received the confirmation email which I accidentally hit cancel instead of confirm. My fault. I immediately called the office number and once again was shuttled to the call center. The person on the other end said our appointment was still there regardless of the fact I could no longer confirm it. I drove to the office since I couldn’t talk to anyone and the woman said it was still there but she would make a note not to cancel.I thanked her and told her his time wasSo limited I just needed to make sure he was seen that day. Guess what? My son showed up to his appointment to be told it was canceled. He called me and I asked if someone could cal me about this and they said no they couldn’t do that. Really? I heard her then say it didn’t matter Dr. Bajuyo wasn’t available to see him anymore and he could reschedule. I had to move things around to make that happen. What bothers me is that my husband is a dentist and he would have made sure to squeeze his patient in if there was a mishap. I went out of my way to make sure the appointment wasn’t cancelled and no one ever said to my son “I’m sorry for the mix up and inconvenience”. I had my own issue with the Dermatology so maybe it’s time to look for providers outside of SBC. Mistakes happen but having some empathy and kindness goes a long way. The fact that you can no longer talk to anyone in the office personally is just ridiculous.
Andrea Misner: Although I really like my Dr (Sara Bajuyo), getting through to the front desk is the worst. I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes and still no answer. This is unacceptable. You can’t tell me that of all the people in the office no one can pick up a phone. What ever happened to customer service?
chad harpole: Why is it so hard to answer a phone? Hold times are over an hour long, they don't call back and wait for u to answer the phone. They say your call is important, but if that were true it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get a hold of them.
lily marie: Dr. Albright is so kind and understanding. I moved out of town but continued seeing her virtually because she’s the best! She’s been very patient with me through medication adjustments and helped me find what works best for me:) I usually get nervous in clinical settings but she makes me feel so comfortable and understood. I am eternally grateful for her!!The nurses and reception staff are very helpful and accommodating as well! Everyone is so so nice and it’s clear that they care for patients and go above and beyond to help:)I typically don’t write reviews, but it’s clear that people tend to only review when they’re upset or frustrated. This south bend clinic location is an easy 5 stars for me and I would recommend them to everyone:) Thanks for everything you guys do!!
Megan Bilderback: Waited on hold for an hour and half to finally reach someone at a call center that didn’t understand the doctors/nurse note in my file. Had to wait for a return call. The nurse, Robin tells me because I need to wait 15mins after my shot it would be 5-10 mins after closing time I would need to just wait till the morning. Because someone couldn’t spare 5 mins I will have to wait with a severe migraine for another day or her other suggestion was going to the ER. No compassion from Dr. Albright or the nurse Robin at the South Bend Clinic. What a shame. We will be finding another doctor and one that has in office staff answering the phones. Even the nurse said the call in situation has been “bad”.
Becky Graczyk: Doctor I saw had minimal bedside manner. Doctor and nurses were chit-chating about irrelevant matters during my entire procedure.
Zuzanna Zmud: Impossible to get through on the phone. Make sure to use the patient portal or their online chat.
Theresa E: From the reception desk to the wait to seeing Natalie Emmert to leaving, my 2nd annual appointment went as well as my first did last year. Great team. Thank you!
Cristal Saucedo: They booked me for an appointment only to let me know they don't accept my insurance the day of my appointment at the clinic in front of everyone.
Paul Clark: I had three visits and nothing was done but charge my insurance. They do nothing but send you to another referral. I had nurse practitioners in Lafayette perform what they are referring to specialist.
Natalie Belfiglio: Dr. Albright is an amazing doctor. However the woman at the front desk was awful. Had an appointment this morning that I was going to be late for (the roads were slick with ice and snow) I called and told them that I would be late, they told me that it was fine, to drive safe and they'd see me when I got there. I got there and the woman at the front desk told me that I would not be seen by my doctor even though I called ahead and let them know I would be late. She did nothing but told me to reschedule even though I had already had to miss work to be there. Unprofessional, if someone says that your Dr will see you, then honor it
James: Called for an appointment so i could get a new PCP and a reference to a pulmonologist, gave them my info and insurance and let them know i have a cough (i get it every year) and a negative covid test with it, they book me. I show up 15 minutes early for the appointment and they ask me if i have any covid symptoms, i say yes, a cough but i warned of that and i have a negative test. Receptionist calls doc and they say i need to reschedule because i have a cough and i need another covid test done that day. I go get the test, negative comes back 3 days later, i call to make another app and i say i want a new doc because i feel the first doc not telling me they'd reschedule me is unprofessional. So they set me up with another person. I get a call five minutes before they close on the same day saying he doesn't want to see me cause i was a no call no show for the last app. I call next day to complain that i did show and was wrongfully turned away, so receptionist sends doc a note and i get a call later that day asking what insurance i had (even though i gave them my insurance) and if it was private id get an app, otherwise i might not get an app if it's like Medicare medicade etc. This office is highly uncoordinated and wasted a lot of my time running me around. If they can't keep simple files accurate and up to date, i definitely don't want them looking after my well being. Choose carefully
TheKarinne09: Schwalbe makes me feel cared for. He listens and is patient (no pun intended) I'm so happy to have a doctor I trust who listens to me without judgement and works with me so that I can live the life I want with a little less stress. He's helped me find affordable health coverage and referred me to specialist both in and out of his office. Again, I am so thankful to have found a doctor like Justin Schwalbe. The receptionists are very nice and polite too. However, like with most quality places, prices can be high. I think it's usually worth it though.
Tom VanHeesbeke: Dr Schwalbe is a good Dr but the whole Phone system Appt setting and persricption refill system is a joke. No call backs horrible attitudes towards the patients from the office staff. Run Dr Schwalbe South Bend Clinic is gonna pull you down with them!
Kk B: It was my first time going to Dr. Albright, she was professional, thoughtful, took her time, made sure all my questions were answered before moving on to the next thing, made sure I felt heard, and showed a dedication to helping me find the problem. I couldn't be more pleased with the visit, or with her care! I highly suggest her 😊
Francisco Gavlan: My wife went to this place and found her MD Laura Albright. At her initial appointment she was told she would see a oncologist ASAP. That appointment was never set. Instead they set her up for these other appointments, for blood work. Well we missed our appointments twice. They were so far apart by a month. Not only that but we had a death in the family and could not make them. Now we're trying to see our doctor again and the Receptionist said the doctor no longer wants to see my wife as a patient. So does that mean we get a refund because they literally didn't do anything. They couldn't even get medical history from the other oncologist. Which is why the appointments were set so far apart.More than happy to find a more capable office.
Karly Evergreen: They are rude unprofessional and don’t seem to care about their patients. They refuse to fill needed prescriptions on time and never answer the phone
Molly Hewitt: I recently started seeing Dr. Laura Albright, who is wonderful. This complaint is in regards to the staff. Over a month ago I faxed a form to the office for Dr. Albright to fill out. The office was then supposed to fax the form to the company on my behalf. The first time I called to follow up about a week later, I was told by the front desk that they had received the form, and that it was passed along to Dr. Albright. Then, I called to follow up a few days later and was told that no one had actually received the form that I faxed; they then told me that I needed to fax it again, which I did immediately. I followed up yet again, and was told that they never received a fax from me ( though I have the receipt for both faxes saying that it was sent and received). Though I was frustrated, I know that technology can be a pain, so I proceeded to bring the form to drop off in person a week ago. I just followed up today. The first call I made, I was told that the note on my file reads that the form was dropped off by the nurse to Dr. Albright, but that no further action had been taken. I then got a call later from another woman (Alexis) saying that the form was received, filled out a week ago, but that my "phone seemed to not be working", so no one had been able to contact me (I'm not sure how this is possible, as she just called me and the phone seemed to work just fine; I had had no other phone issues during the week). She then told me that it's been sitting there for me to pick up. I explained that I had asked I had left explicit instructions to fax the form to the company. She told me that she would fax it today. I THEN got a call from another woman, stating that the form had been faxed a week ago (by Alexis of all people), but they'd just go ahead and fax it again for me today as a "courtesy". I called to ask for fax receipts, and they "couldn't find the one from a week ago" coincidentally.I know this all seems somewhat silly, but in reality this was ONE piece of paper that was part of a full application for Shire Cares, a company that pays for my medicine. Since I haven't had these forms, I've gone through the physical pain of withdrawal, then the financial pain of caving and paying over 200 dollars to get my medication.I have kept my fax receipts, my voicemails, and I've taken notes through this whole process. I'm very concerned that I've been blatantly lied to by the staff at this office. I wouldn't make such accusations without proof; I work in customer service and I know that it can be hard to have people yell at you all the time when they don't get their way. That's not what this is about, and I encourage everyone who uses this particular clinic to keep a paper copy of all transactions.
