Carolyn Rozmarynowski: Our well pump had been kicking on quite often, and the electric usage and bill had skyrocketed over the past few months, so we suspected a problem with the pump. We called the plumber that we like to use. He doesn't work on wells, but he recommended Maurer.I called, and my call was returned quickly. The technicians were here within 30 minutes of calling me.They checked everything inside the house, and there were no problems there, so they explained how much it would cost to replace the well pump, and that they wouldn't know until they pulled the pump up if it were the pump or another problem.They showed us our cracked pump, and were able to replace it during their visit.It was less than 3 hours from the time of my first call to the finished job. Our pump now runs much more quietly, and not nearly as often.They do charge an extra 4% if you pay by credit card as we did, but that's understandable as credit card companies charge fees of their own to process payments.Their employees are professional and explained things well. Caleb: So, please don't hold them to this standard, because it's an unreasonably high standard (I think timing and location with other jobs must have just really worked out well).But this was my experience:In my case, I had already done a little troubleshooting and was pretty sure I had a bad pump..I called for a pump replacement quote and within 2.5 hours of my initial call, they had already provided a quote, had arrived at my house, verified the problem, replaced the pump, and pulled out of the driveway having finished the job.They literally did the entire job before the other local companies even returned my call for a quote, I still haven't received other quotes yet actually, not that I need them.When I called at 1:30pm for a quote.. I had not even considered the possibility I would have running water again before 4pm(Attached a picture of the old pump to prove it really was replaced)Edit: also want to mention that the number I was quoted, is exactly what i was charged.Service:Pump repairs installation

Thomas Short: The two techs from Maurer Well & Pump Service Inc just left. I was afraid we'd burned out another pump, but the pump had shut down due to too much rust build up in the pipes closest to the entry point. They replaced them & made some recommendations related to our high iron water.As in the past, Maurer got here quick, did a great job & were very professional. I'd recommend them.

I called after I saw the yard after the snow melted and they said they could come fix but would need to charge us for what their own truck did. They should lay down plywood or something to protect people's lawn. I can't say I will use them again for my rental property.

Becky McIntyre: Highly recommend--Hire Maurer Well Service! I had started to suspect something was not right and gave them a call. They came out to review everything and it appeared as though everything was working correctly during the inspection but we agreed by what I was describing something was off. The team gave me some homework to watch for and sure enough it was doing everything they said it shouldn't be doing. They came back out and did some different diagnostics and figured out the problem and we made plans to have them fixed. When they arrived to install the new equipment they worked fast and efficient and were done before I even knew it. The new system works so well and is so quiet. We wouldn't trust our well to be serviced by any other company. We highly recommend Maurer Well Service to family and friends often. Great local, family owned company!

stevekwan3: We were selling our house and Maurer did the well inspection. They were scheduled to come in the morning, while my wife was home, but didn't show up until later, while she was gone. They failed the inspection, even though the report stated that they could not locate the well. Thier report said that the bladder tank did not have the correct pressure and that the GPM was 4GPM. FHA only requires 3GPM for existing wells! They also said that it did not have a riser. We have never had any well issues, so we decided to get a second opinion. After another inspection by a credible well company, we found that our well was in excellent condition! The other company got 8GPM as opposed to 4. We did our own GPM test and got 7.5, the buyers did it as well with a result of 8.5! The bladder tank passed inspection also! We are pretty sure Maurer never even did the GPM test. if they did, it was through a hose and sprayer nozzle. It appeared that they were just trying get a job of putting in another well. It cost us another $150+ to have a second inspection to prove thiers wrong. I have called several times with no return

Colin Kowalski: My original quote several months ago. After calling a few times I was finally told that we were coming up on the list. When the time came, after I had requested a heads up that they would be coming, my wife was woken up to the men working in the front yard unannounced. My yard was shredded and my Christmas decorations were destroyed. We were told they would come back the next day around 1. Not only did they not come, they didn't answer their phones. We did manage to get ahold of them to find out they were coming back a few days later and asked that, again, they notify us when they were coming to manage our dogs. Again we were greeted with workers at the door. The crew were nice, but I was left with a large mound of dirt and a huge chunk of concrete left in my front lawn.
