Aaron Orfanos: Edit: used to love this place. Would come here often with some friends and family. That was until I got the pleasure of doing todays delivery for them. Have had plenty of good experiences delivering for them before. This time I arrived and got told by a server that their tablet was off and that they would not be making the order right now and that i shouldnt have even gotten the order jnt he first place. Said ok I'll just have to tell gh that the order was refused since the tablet was off. Called GH and told them about it, GH called them and they told GH that they were making it. Now GH thinks I'm lieing about it for no reason. Complained about it to the employee and she just smiles and laughs and basically says oh well and that she didn't tell me she wouldn't make it. I tried asking for a manager because I didn't appreciate the passive aggressive smiles and laughs about making me look bad, and was told he's too busy. Cool. Thanks. Appreciate that. I'll keep doing deliveries for you guys because it's my job, but I definately will never be back after being treated that way.

Michael Madala: Deleted my old review to rewrite one for 04/13/2023. We came today to enjoy the nice weather by the river. Parking is usually scarce, so I'd show up earlier. Also was a 30-minute wait for outside. The atmosphere is great! The scenery and being so close to the water is very relaxing, and the decor makes you feel like you're not in South Bend Indiana. The server was very overwhelmed tonight, as I believe she was the only person for the lower patio. It took us about 30 minutes for us to put our food order in and we had drinks in the mean time. The drinks were not the best tasting, I'd say okay. It took us about 30 minutes before we could put in a food order. Our food came another hour past that. We had 4 other tables get food before our party of 4 received ours and others had there food comped for the wait but we were never offered. Our mahi mahi was supposed to have a onion crust according to the menu, and the chicken sandwich was supposed to have a chili aioli... the fish was bare, dry, and chewy. The chicken sandwich only had chopped peppers on it. We were not expecting the best food ever or anything crazy, but just to match the description which it did not. The waitress was great! She was just very overwhelmed and those steps are very unforgiving. We didn't want to frustrate her or take anything out on her as these things were out of her control for the most part. The only other thing is we ordered sweet potato fries but we were never told they were out and were served regular fries instead. Just disappointed.

Kelly Wilson: I had lunch today to try out the new menu, which is mainly Polynesian and was pretty disappointed. The menu has a lot of spam or as they call it, Taylor Ham, coconut shrimp and pineapple salsa. I had the Surf and Turf. A double ground beef rib "smash burger" with 2 coconut shrimp on a bun that I can't pronounce. There was supposed to be coleslaw on it but the amount was negligible. First off the long plate is so skinny you can't cut the very tall sandwich. Pieces kept falling off the plate. It was impossible to keep the shrimp on the sandwich so I ate them separately. They were good. The double patty of meat was too much...it started tasting greasy and there was no type of sauce on it. My sweet potato fries were mushy not crispy. I didn't take home the leftovers. The service was pretty good although we waited for someone to come over and wait on us then we waited on our drinks. No one greeted us as we came in the door and they weren't busy. The waitress was fine. All in all it was disappointing. I don't care for this menu and probably won't be back. There's no atmosphere, it's just bland.

Angelica Mascorro: I was disappointed for the first time after many years of eating here even with the different owner changes. This was one of my favorite restaurant. Tonight I ordered the $25 salmon dinner. Sadly the best part of my meal was the wedge salad once I removed the grilled onions and cherry tomatoes. My rice was just as hard and dry as my salmon. I really miss the old teriyaki salmon dinner. I’ll probably try their burger and give it a 2nd go before I cross The Bucket off my list.

Choice of a multitude types of buns and cheeses, is now a few lame selections, for a sub-par burger, that I would take as a second choice to burger king.It typically takes time to take a restaurant that is so popular, already established, and utterly destroy it.. but they managed to do so overnight. Its clear they did not want the restaurant that had been here for decades and already established, as they utterly got rid of it and replaced it with something new.. so unsure why they didnt just establish their own place, rather then come along and tear something down that someone else worked hard to create.

Pam Eddy: After visiting someone in the hospital on Super Bowl Sunday, we stopped for dinner. We were happy to see they were open and had a full staff who were all friendly and provided great service. The food was good and a wide variety to choose from. Though I was full and had no room for dessert, they have a nice selection of pies and other sweets. The next visit will include a piece of pie for sure.

She didn't forget to bring it, that's just how they look at us and treat us, thinking we don't see or know. There charge $5.75 for a half order of biscuits and gravy, a half order. Make it make sense. They smile at the whites and there own kind, us blacks, get mugged and no smile, just no courtesy for us at all, only unless we spending hella money for the over priced food there serving of there own made up prices.
