Ernie Clark: My dad and I came out for a day fishing trip after meeting Dustin at the Schaumburg fishing convention. Having never fly fished, I was taught by my guide and caught a 26in steelhead. My dad caught a 27in only one hour into our trip! We had a great time on the water, Everytime we lost a hook or fly or I got caught in a tree our guide helped us get back to set up in a matter of minutes! We caught a 31in steelhead 5 hours into our trip and chased her through the water for a good 30 minutes! Everything went perfect to make sure we could catch a nice fish, and our guide helped us make sure we were making the right actions to achieve our goals. Had a wonderful day and great experience!

Shane Heilman: Ripple Guide Service out of South Bend, Indiana - Hands down one of the best services I've experienced to date from a "local" perspective! Dustin and his team are tenacious and absolutely in the game so you, the fisherman/woman, can have the ultimate experience. As an example, due to a nagging tree limb with 3 steelies sitting right below it, I hung up at least six flies (stop laughing, you've ALL done it at some point) and after 3 trips back to the boat for Dustin, I finally executed for a very nice buck - Thank you Dustin! I truly appreciate the commitment to excellence.Oh yeah, the barbequed chicken and mashed potatoes on a grill (in the boat) - tasted like a steak dinner on a cold winter's day with 38 degree water. It will be difficult to go back to the standard sandwich, chips and a cookie. The bar is now extremely high for all you other guides out there:))On a final note, I weigh in at a hefty 138 and the water was high and fast yesterday so to remedy the situation, I poked a hole in my waders and filled up the left side to keep me anchored to the bottom. Otherwise, I would not have been able to stand up - HA😉

Chip Stump: I've used Ripple many times over the years on waters in Indiana, Michigan and Montana. You won't find a better guide than Dustan. He will put you on fish and you will have a great time. Very professional and fun to spend a day with on the water. I've learned a lot from Dustan and have very much appreciated his patience with me, going back to the first time I fished steelhead with him many years ago.....landed the first 2 I hooked and literally went 0 for the next 20 that day. Still had a great time and learned a lot. Highly recommend RGS!

J Moe: Pretty decent fish fry most of the time. I was a member in high school and had my graduation party here. They opened it up to us and had everything we needed with more than enough seating. Bingo was fun even as a younger person.

Terri Kralis-Koch: South Bend Community Rowing is a club established to promote the sport of rowing to participants age 18 and over, regardless of rowing experience. It is a well run organization with a purposeful program that develops a members skill level.
