Sean Turner: The better fishing would be where there isn't so much dense growth of vegetation around the pier. Even weedless lures have some problems getting through the dense vegetation. I've also heard from others that the fishing there at the pier is it the best. Your better bet would be to fish off the bridge near where the dam is. The channels there can harbor larger catfish and possibly some bass. My sons have caught some nice sized bluegill. Try it out sometime.
