Michael James: I have researched numerous times for vinyl and laminate flooring between them and other flooring stores, Lowes, Menards, etc and they have always had the most competitive pricing for comparable quality products. My biggest warning for DYI people is that there are some lower quality products in all stores I do not feel are worthwhile to install verses spending a little more.

Within two weeks they made initial contact, had someone come out to do measurements, had us pick up our materials and had them installed. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who is looking to have flooring work done in a timely fashion with great customer service.

Andrew Pelc: What a great experience ! Terry was absolutely wonderful to work with and his install team was beyond professional. Quick, easy and affordable should be their motto. After wasting hours wondering around Home Depot’s flooring section and being told it would be a minimum of 6 weeks before they could install, my wife and I decided to go to a local professional. I wish we had started with Shillings! Terry really knows his stuff ! He walked us through some different carpeting options and answered all our questions. The showroom is full of high quality materials so you can touch and feel what you’re getting and it is all at lower prices than we saw at Home Depot. He saved us a ton of time and money and we couldn’t be happier with our choices. We were even able to get a higher end carpet pad than we originally planned thanks to all the savings. It feels like walking on a cloud and it is made from recycled materials so it is as eco friendly as these kind of things can get. Cannot say enough good things about the crew. Tear up & haul away, Install on 3 bedrooms, 2 sets of stairs and a finished basement only took a day and a half ! Save yourself time and money and go to Shillings !

Jim Greene: We wanted to switch from carpet to hardwood floors, but were totally clueless on how to proceed. I made calls to Art Van and Lumber Liquidators, but we made the decision to buy local with Schilling's. We're so glad we did. Terry, the Schilling's salesperson, was great in helping us select the proper hardwood choice. He came out to our home to get correct measurements, to insure that the installation was going to go well.The pricing at Schilling's was less than similar product at LL.When the flooring came in, we were given a week's notice, to make sure that we moved the small furniture and stuff out of the way.Be prepared - if you are going to go from carpet to hardwood, as we did, it will take a good week to get the job done. We don't have a huge place, so everything got crammed together to make room. Your house is basically going to be in chaos for the full time.Also - when you are working with Schilling's, I'd suggest getting a commitment to a finish date. Our installation started on October 22, and just finished this morning - on November 2. Yep; just under two weeks. Stuff happens - as it did with Schilling's on our deal. I had smoke coming from my ears last weekend, but we got there. It's the only thing that keeps us from giving 5 stars.Terry did come out to the house this week and personally extend an apology. That meant a lot to us. Thanks again, Terry.The floor looks great. The people were wonderful. Give Schilling's your business! BUY LOCAL!

John Shinners: Shilling's came highly recommended to me by several neighbors. I see why. They did a great job from start to finish. Julie and Terry helped me choose the right colors for my staircases and even found a suitable remnant for one of them, which saved me money. I visited the store on a Thursday afternoon and had an installed carpet by the next Tuesday afternoon. The Shilling's crew--Aiden and Nate--did a fast, very neat, professional job and were a pleasure to have in my house. I found Shilling's price for two 13-step staircases and a landing to be very reasonable. I won't hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to others.

james feece: Be very careful with Carpet Service Outlet. It was the worst carpet installation I've ever had. They will NOT stand behind their bad installation! You will call and call and call and Vickie will not return your calls. When you finally get her she wont stand behind her installers and product. I would recommend going to Lowe's. They at least stand behind their products and installers.
Flora: First time walking in and one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time, which made me write this post. I didn't get a hello or any kind of greeting upon entering and when she did see me, she had the most incredulous look on her face the entire time I was there, all of three minutes if that. I looked around, and she let me know I would need to have the product ordered and said it as if it would've been a problem or an issue. From there she referred me to another business. There was a tone of hostility and just general annoyance, right off the bat. I'm sharing my experience as this is someone working with the public, and it was completely unwarranted, and uncalled for.
Matthew Smith: Quick, honest estimate. Fit me into their schedule, when they learned the job was fairly urgent. And the install crew was quick, kind, and polite, and they looked to save me a buck here and there where they could. Would definitely recommend.

The result was great as she located small lots of carpet tiles at half the price of normal.I am in process of selling my home and contacted Vicky at suggestion of realtor. Again this was a great idea as she suggested ceramic tile instead of vinyl and arranged for wonderful installation. we could not be more pleased. The carpet for rest of house is not even installed and yet we have an interested buyer. Her ideas and products are great and affordable.

Jared Egger: From the time we walked in the door they were extremely helpful. They did not pressure us to go above our budget and were very honest about the different quality of products offered. We we able to make a decision and set an install time. The carpet arrived on time and was installed faster than originally quoted. The installers were VERY respectful of our home. I felt completely comfortable leaving them at our home during the day. In the future The Carpet Shop will be our first choice for flooring needs.

AMELIA Lichtenbarger: Worse carpet shop. They didn't stretch my carpet in 3 rooms. Then they were suppose to come back and repair the damaged part when their worker snagged my new carpet with a hammer and tried to cover it up by hot gluing it. Luckily my son watched him do it. They never came back because they had van troubles. Never took care of issues. I call they hang up on me. Horrible!

Paul Frye: I've had 2 different crews install 2-rooms of carpet plus closets and hallways this year 6-months apart. Both times the service was outstanding and the quality of the install was professional and to perfection. I am a detailed individual and I could not find fault in anything from the initial contact to the install to the final payment. I'd highly recommend these folks. I'll be using them again for 3-different projects I am working on.
