Talent Brokers: I remember Elks members coach Carl Hubbard Sr. & coach Oliver Jackson Sr. How much these 2 contributed to the City of South Bend & South Bend City School over 30 years.Mentoring young men & womenFund Raisers for our young folks needed scholarship help for basketball or football camps.They volunteered Thousands of hours helping out at community events:Coaching at Rec Centers.Coaching at SBCSC.Toy Drives. Food pantries delivers for sick and shut in members.They provided security during lodge functions when outta state lodges visits on bus trips.These men are the meaning of What it is to be an Elk's member.Since these brothers moved away Carl Hubbard Sr. to Texas & Oliver Jackson Sr. to Louisiana.LaSalle & Eks298 give these men the flowers while they are above ground (Honor & Respect) there service!

Paula Burmeister: Knights of Columbus has the BEST fish fry in South Bend! They offer both baked and fried fish as well as their famous pierogies. The staff are warm and friendly!
Kathleen Maltarich: We had a respite meal after my mother's funeral. About 75 guests were very comfortably accommodated. The polish dinner was delicious. I had to make the arrangements from out of town, but Sherry was so helpful. The place looked great and we had a wonderful celebration of a life well lived.
Ken Van Nevel: Food was OK mashed potatoes was runny and the chicken burned. Sausage and green beans was good.sweet and sour cabbage was not good noodles was OK. Would not recommend their food.

S E: Went for a Christmas auction. Nice building, nice people, great prices. This was my first time in this lodge so I really can't tell you much about it.
LJ Somontes: Women's bathroom needs updating, stall doors don't lock and toilets don't flush. Lady clearing trash from tables took people's drinks they were still drinking.

South Bend Concerned Parent: If this is the Knights of Columbus that Kirby Whitacre is a member of.....ask him how good he feels about himself for joining in with a corrupted group of SBCSC high school administrators to have a guy fired for having Multiple Sclerosis.....yeah, this guy was trusted with a guys medical diagnosis (as a friend) and he turned around and told lies to the federal government only to secure the SBCSC in beating this guy in an Americans with Disabilities ADA lawsuit....this is the truth...and if the crook and liar Whitacre wants to deny it, there is always a court room were the truth can be given to prove that you DID lie to the federal government to ruin this guys life! This guy gave all of the proof to a federal judge only to be ignored and stomped on.....
