Learn to answer the phone and communicate unbelievable the way that department is ran
Howard Baldeosingh: Service department needs overhaul. Tried to schedule a first free oil change for purchasing a vehicle from them. Can't get anyone in service on the phone, keeps going straight to voicemail. Made appointment online and stated I would wait for service. Got there and service person said that only taking drop offs because of worker shortage. Gave me a 5 hour window of when vehicle will be done. Showed him email stating I was waiting. Didn't matter. I just left then. Very mad since I live 40 minutes away. This is my daughter's college car and it was the only day I could schedule it while she was in town.Then later that day, I would get texts from service department saying my car is ready for pickup even though I never left it!! Replied to texts stating they don't have my car but would still continue to get them. Finally the same service person I talked to called me and asked me when I was going to pick up my car. This really got me mad. I said I am never going to bring my car to a service department run like this. He then got belligerent and stated if I wanted inferior work, I should go to the other GM dealer in town. I tried to explain to him my situation but he would constantly interrupt me and then just hung up. Definitely never recommending service from this place given their unprofessionalism.By the way, sent them an email about this on their website. Got a call back from salesman wanting to talk to me about buying a new car. Do they not read their emails?

B Wolf: If you are trying to contact their service department, forget about it. Left multiple voice-mail messages and no one calls you back. If your thinking of purchasing a vehicle from them, something to conside if you need any service / warranty work done. Since work we needed done was covered under warranty we ended up calling Buick dealer in Elkhart. Actual person picked up on 2nd ring, transferred call to service department and they picked up as well and scheduled appointment. Instead of annoying "beep - beep" commercials, Gurley Leep should spend money on hiring employees who can answer phone.
Michelle Lentych: Have purchased two cars here over the past 10 years - including extra warranties. I can never speak to anyone in the sevice dept. Constantly got transferred from sales to a dead voicemail that isn't accepting messages.Took my SUV in the diagnose a noise coming from the wheel well. 2.5 hours later, I go out to the bay and my car has been sitting there done while the attendant was on his cell phone. Within a minute, I miraculously had the estimate. $2500+ for struts, alignment, sway bar links, and brakes. All of which were an URGENT need. I said I would have to schedule another appointment and left. Glad I did. Took my car to another shop and nothing was wrong with struts or sway bar. The tie rod was so bad the wheel was moving. Gurley Leep wanted to charge me $2500+ and didn't even identify the most obvious issue that would only run about $300 to fix. Last time the opposite tie rod needed replaced, it was covered under the wheel and tire warranty. Now magically the warranty no longer covers any suspension work that it covered before? Lots of running around in circles for nothing. Would not recommend.

Mitchell Hollis: I have personally bought multiple vehicles from girly leap and I'm usually asked to go with family members or friends when they are going to purchase a vehicle for themselves because of the negotiating aspects some people just are not comfortable with doing that. I normally use John in used cars he was on vacation I was referred to Marco and have to give a five if there was a six or 10 I would give him that for his honesty and lack of pressure I would have felt comfortable with my aunt buying a vehicle on her own by the way he treated us he was genuinely concerned about my aunts needs and budget and I can't say enough about that thank you for making buying a automobile so stress-free

Karissa Caverley: Bought my vehicle here, have had good service experience. The last service visit we ended up buying a new wheel, 4 tires and paid for an alignment. Our truck was there almost a week. Come to find out we paid $160 for an alignment that was never done. Now we have to come back in to leave the vehicle again so they can do the alignment that was never done in the first place. Rather frustrating.

Brandon Runyon: First off I want to throw a shout out to my man Kyle that sold me my car! He was so easy to work with and willing to take the time to figure out what you really want. He truly gave me the freedom to purchase what I wanted not what they wanted to sell. The sales manager was awesome too. I had questions on paperwork he was just a call or a walk into the dealership away. Brain helped me out and explained some things that are different about my transmission and got me in and out before time he said. I may not agree with all the Gurley Leap dealers in this area but this one has done me good so far!

Don Mega: Bought a used car at Lochmandy motors and Nappannee st. Elkhart Indiana. On the second day of driving the engine light came on. It took 3 weeks to get it fixed. A few weeks later again 30 warranty is now up so I'm out of $125 to have it checked out. Let's just say have your cars diagnosed before you decide to buy. 2016 Jeep compass.
