I do thank the nail tech for her patience with me but it's okay to say you don't know how to do something then give them something they didn't ask for ... also make an appointment I got there at 8:40 only 2 people ahead of me and I left at 12:40!

I had just washed my hair right before getting there, and she was persistent that if I wanted my hair to turn out the right way, well it needed to be washed. The updo lasted through the whole day marvelously and it was a windy one. Thought I had to take the pins out after the reception, the curls lasted through two flights on my way to PR, sleeping on a park bench/picknick table and a tour of the town while very humid. The salon staff are always incredibly helpful and make it a point to know you by name. The salon offers a wide variety of products and services such as extensions, Brazilian blowout, and Diva Curl. Becky is perfect for not only the icy blondes that I enjoy but also fun colors. That's not to say that she can't do anything that you might want. They will always be honest with you as well if something would enhance your beauty or if it's something that might not be the best decision. I've always appreciated that. I would highly recommend this salon and in particular Becky James. I think the photos speak for themselves.

S. Lee: I can't speak for the hair salon but I will never get a Brazilian from here again. If you have any care or consideration for the well being of your vagina stay far away! They do not use hard wax which is the recommended wax for Brazilian waxes (which I was somewhat okay with having had this type of wax twice before it's a little more painful to me but not too bad) BUT My skin was raw and exposed when I went home! I had a difficult time showering because basic dove soap was burning and stinging. All around my lip area was either burned or had skin ripped off with the wax. My husband wanted me to go get my money back. Even just plain warm water was too much to handle. The next morning I had scabs!!!! The following day skin and scabs were coming off on my wash cloth completely grossing me out for the next two days. FYI I am no newbie to waxing I have been getting brazilians for 4.5 years straight in NY and North Carolina with no problems. I religiously went every 4 weeks and ONLY waxed never shaved. I just moved to the area and needed to find a place because I was approaching my 5th week and I seriously regret going to Emblazon! I have never seen the technique used here and it makes me question if they are really certified estheticians.
Melanie Page: I have a terrible fear of hair salons because I feel like the pretty stylists and desk worker are judging me, especially if I come in with my hair all crazy and weird from sleeping on it, which I think is fine because they're going to wash it anyway. The desk woman was amazing and kind and even gave my husband a beer. My stylist was nice and didn't try to force small talk on me. Will definitely go back!
