They have a lot of things that the blue and white competitor doesn't. I have always gone to the competitor but think I might be making more visits here when I need something. Now this was just one trip so I will adjust the review as needed if anything changes but, customer service was great and answered questions I had on the location of products and such.

Bob Bobby: They refused a refill on a legal certified 100lb propane tank that was certified this year in January because it was 15 minutes till close and claimed it wasn't a legal certified tank saying any one can engrave it even tho Franger Gas Company, Inc Elkhart certified it. Not mentioning names for legal reasons but there team that handles takes are lazy.

I am glad that I did. They were very responsive and had the siding in their show room by the time I got there.they were most helpful and even helped me load my suv. However, given a choice, I will always deal with K-Wood!I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. This place is a gold mine to me. Anything I need, they can get it. Any question I have, they can answer it and throw ideas at me as well for things I didn't consider. It's to a point now where they know what I want or need even before I do!You don't get personalized service at the big stores- no immediately asking to help you, and in the big stores, you are dealing with a lot of clueless people that work there, and even though they might have been in a department a long time, they can still not know what they are talking about and are offended if you question their views- based on making sales.K-Wood's goal is quite obviously to please the customer, first and foremost. There's been more than once occasion where they could have sold me higher priced items and I would have been clueless, but they sold me what I needed instead. That says a lot about this friendly group of people, all hard working and aiming to please.I will always deal with local businesses before the chain stores if I can. I need them and they need the customers to support them so they will always be there for me.I appreciate them and their patience with me- all of them!

Glennon Schaffner: During the epidemic my friend and I set out to transform a shed on his property into a fully functioning sauna. We defined the concept and started collecting materials. When it came time to source the heart wood, vertical grain, clear cedar t&g and beveled siding there was none to be had. bxlx: THEY DID NOT HELP AT ALLI ordered a new key fob for a 2015 Lincoln MKZ and came in to pick it up and have it programmed. When I get there, first of all, they ordered the wrong key fob. Second, after cutting the key to fit the fob correctly, that’s when they decided to tell me they can’t program the fob. Offered no assistance afterwards. Wasted my time, and left me to put my old fob back together so I could get my car started again. AWFUL EXPERIENCE DO NOT COME HERE.

Stephen Pozywio: Been going to this Ace since we moved to the area, most likely won't for a while now, more and more it feels like the store is either angry or just disinterested in anything but chatting. It is fine if you need one or two common items and live close by. The people toward the back of the store in general know their stuff, but not always to the specific trade level (which I don't expect in any store). Over the past few months I've felt treated like an employee rather than a customer. I put the basket down in the wrong place (next to the counter) and I get snapped at "Don't do that some will trip over that and file a claim against us." They don't have basket return spot, so at minimum, I would expect a please or nicer way of handling it, maybe just grab it. I don't mind they typical 10% higher prices, but when I change my mind on items (one item) that cost 5 times less at other places I've been given attitude.

William Gilley: This would be zero if it could be. It is one thing to change the appliance return window for appliances to 48 hours, but is another thing to have a manager laugh at you and tell you that if you had a Lowe's card ir would 30 days. My suggestion is to shop the Goshen location. Far better service and they actually listen to and respect the customer. I had the unopened appliance for 7 days and could not install it per the electrician.

sheyanne scheffer: Lowes uses 3rd party delivery (Faby's Trucking). The delivery workers do not speak English well. One did not speak English at all. I had a fridge delivered which was supposed to be brought into my home and hooked up. My door is 30 in at the smallest point. The fridge without doors is 28.75in. I measured the door and had the fridge measured at the store to ensure that it would fit. They refused to bring it in saying it would not fit. So they left it outside for me with a new baby without a fridge to figure out how to get it inside. I did request for them to take the doors off and they refused as well.
