Central High: what do users think?
mud: Could be interesting walking the same halls as coaching great John Wooden.
Noelle Elliott: I waited 4 days to get a response about availability. When I finally did speak with Pam she couldn't answer a simple question if the residents were primarily students or professionals and kept repeating herself that it was only people who made 3x the monthly rate. She was incredibly rude and if that is the way they treat potential residents I can only imagine how they treat the current ones.
Regina Hardy: I had a good experience 😌
Montie Anderson: Pamela the assistant manager is a wonderful front desk person. She loves helping others
Carlos Corona: Paying 1k+ a month for my loft for me to leave water running for about ten minutes or more almost every morning to shower before work? So not worth it. I’ve also tried using A/C before during warm evenings and my vent just shoots out warm air even when i set it to cool and around 60°/65°F. Have had to sleep at night with the windows open several times to keep somewhat cool.
Charles Buscareno (Charlie): Pam who is one of the administrators was extremely helpful and answered many questions and she answered all of them very well and in a kind manner. The complex is clean and secure. Would recommend.
Arlette Parker: Our Mom suffers from PTSD & OCD, her first apartment didn’t help at all BUT the staff found her a perfect unit… she had unpacked 90% of a bedroom unit in 20hrs she was at such PEACE… Thank You Village Green for making Our Mom’s transition WONDERFUL!
Madison Brooks: The maintenance man, Frank, is great at his job! He was very respectful and helpful! Thanks Frank!
Joseph Horn: Great apartment and location, enjoyed my stay here.
Richard Justin Sarna: I lived here for about 4 years; I loved it and I would have absolutely stayed probably forever if job circumstances hadn't changed. Linda who is kind of the overseer is the best; the office staff was always great. Loved this place.
Logan Foster: I moved into Central High in 2019 and so far everything has been great! Very impressed with the office staff and maintenance. I would like to give a shout-out to Brenda Buck (Assistant Manager) and Adrian Anderson (Manager) for being extremely kind and helpful during the move in process and any other time i've had questions or needed assistance! If you're looking for a place to stay, I definitely recommend!
L W: I really enjoyed my time living here. The maintenance staff does the best they can with what they’ve got. Unfortunately, the property owner is just making a cash grab by raising rents with no updates or upgrades to the individual units. My apartment is great but the rents they’re charging aren’t worth what you get. After 5 years, home ownership is now the better option for me.
Stacey Smith: Such an awesome building with so much history. A school turned into an apartment complex. They even built an apartment in the pool!
Donna Kooy: Got lost inside
Jerina Blackwell: I think this is amazing! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to live here! 🤗 Great job 👍!👏👏👏
Laszlo Nemeth: Great vintage decor
Bob Saltz: Best place I ever worked. South Bend a nice place to live. I haven't been there since the building was converted to apartments.
Chris Moore: Praising
Susie Taylor: Got to visit after leaving the school 56 years ago. In fact a very dear friend is living in my homeroom. It looks alot different today than it did 56 years ago.
the Taylor Family from Indiana: Very cool how this place was converted into apartments from an old high school. The developer kept some of the things and maintained an old school environment!
Darius Horton: Relaxing place to walk

The Pointe At St. Joseph Apartments: what do users think?
Andrew Patterson: Nice environment
Marcia Motta: I have not had reliable hot water for months. According to the maintenance team one of the heaters was broken and there was just one working, not enough for all to get hot water. Despite my complains, nothing was done. My car was vandalized in the parking lot and my coat stolen. There are reports of many cars having itens stolen. Management did nothing. A friend had the car stolen just in front of the apartment complex. Avoid this place at all costs.
Matt: Rented an Airbnb here for a Notre Dame game and was very impressed. This area of South Bend seemed rather rough, but the apartment complex was very nice and seems to be fairly secure. Awesome walking trail by the river, I would recommend this place if you can afford it.
David Grogan: Great apartment building. Clean, good floor plans, and great location. The management is attentive and very helpful. I had a complicated move-out (which is not necessarily a time when an apartment is incentivized to be helpful), but multiple levels of the management worked with me to make my move a smooth as possible. Robin in the leasing office was particularly great!
Beth: I have visited a friend a couple times at the Pointe and I must say they have some beautiful apartments and the grounds are so well kept it’s really nice to walk around that area when I have time off work. I looked up the prices for the apartments and they are quite expensive but I’d like to share something my grandma used to say to me a lot growing up , “you get what you pay for “ I’d say in this instance that would be very true . The grounds are immaculately kept. I was really surprised when I saw this apartment complex it’s beautiful.
Rwings73: Friend lives here. Excellent amount of parking space.
Mubarakah Adebisi: I drove 3 hours to tour the apartment. I had an appointment at 12:30. They called me few minutes to 11 to reschedule the appointment to 2:30. I got there at 2:30 and waited for over 30 minutes and nobody showed up. Extremely disappointed at the tardiness and especially because they couldn't even call to update me. I have to drive 3 hours back without touring the apartment. Do better with time management and keeping appointments with future residents. Was really hoping to rent one of their apartments.
Charlie n Easton Jr: Nice
Georges Enderle: The Pointe is a nice place to live: quiet, nice neighbors, clean, next to the river and the East Race, close to many restaurants in down town South Bend and soon to the supermarket on Lasalle Avenue. Welcome - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
Sidney Martell: The staff is amazing and super helpful! Also, it's a great location for your everyday needs.
Madison McLeod: A great place to live in! The management is very friendly!
Alyx Ayers: The staff is amazing!!
Janae Kline: Great staff and they have a parking garage!Very close to downtown and my favorite restaurants, bars and stores!
Ashlee Clanton: Super awesome place! The staff is top notch and Sarah is just absolutely amazing to work with! 150% recommend!
Phyllis Rasmussen: Seriously beautiful apartments right down town! Close to every bar and grocery store! Love the friendly staff-Sarah and Stephanie! Love that dogs are welcomed!
Paul VandeWater: Nice place, clean and comfortable living areas. Also has a very responsive staff.
Jonathan Troyer: The place is infested with bugs. Nats first but then bed bugs. Then after we started getting Nats, it was spider galore. Numerous tenants said they had the same issue. We spent months trying to get rid of them. They also towed my grandmas van because she parked in the normal parking. She said she had to use her little electric scooter and scoot the whole way to the towing company.
Teacher Troubles: Thank you so much for such a great tour! The lady in the office was really helpful and I look forward to making a move in the future.
Andrew Quillan: Stayed on the couch with a friend for a week and was pleasantly supersized. The staff was very helpful and didn’t shy away from a phone call or something of the sort.
James Brouckman: This place was awesome the staff was so nice
Samuel Bakos: Stephanie was very helpful.

Miami Hills Apartments: what do users think?
Isaac “Zer0Kool” Valdez: Aweeee I mean
Brenda Gregory: I would like to ask a question. What in the world are you guys doing with the money that you get from the tenants and from the government. People should feel comfortable in their home they should want to come home. Due to mice and roaches in people apartments and nothing is being in done. What need to be done is to call code enforcement and see what happens and call news 57 and expose them. Again what is going on with the funds that is giving from the government what is the office is doing with the money?
Craig DeLong (With love of my life): They don't fix people's doors trash everywhere. The people who live their should not have to live like that (delivered there)
JeWisH uWeReMe: No respect for others privacy. There's a woman that's been running around out here for years by the name of Kelly making false accusations and constantly harassing other tenants, getting them evicted because the management doesn't want to take the time to do a legitimate investigation of the claims. She's constantly interfering with police investigations, badgering the officers with questions and telling them what they should and shouldn't do under different circumstances. She tries to act as neighborhood watch but she is actually a public nuisance running from tenant to tenant spreading rumors and starting drama between everyone. That woman is toxic. She thinks she's a positive influence in the community but most people that are living in the community see her as a common nuisance.. Overall the only other issues the place has a bug problem, management is constantly changing but it seems like the new management is sticking around and making some positive changes seeing as how they stuck around for over a year and have done more than previous management before them have done when it's come to property management and upkeep of the apartments. Violence is a problem but that's honestly no different than any place that rents income based apartments.. All in all I would honestly give this place 3 stars because it's not a bad place to live if you stay out of the way and mind your business, Kelly is the reason I'm giving it one star.
bfdi boy: They keep on lighting big fireworks outside when my dad called police nothing happened then this is trash
Shannon Wagner: The whole place inside & out was falling apart at the seams. Trash all over . Ppl with they kids hanging out all over they cars lil toddlers running around in diapers in the middle of parking lot babies standing up in the 2bd story windows with no blinds or curtains everywhere I looked things was a mess & the building literally looked like it was falling apart.
Racquel Escobar: Too many stairs nonsense
King Stapleton: Please please please do not move out here‼️The worst apartment complex in south bend ... especially when it comes to roaches, bed bugs and mice these apartments are entirely infested people don’t respect your privacy and people always out there arguing and fighting police are out there consistently
Erie Jenae: Trash
Saundra S: They're fixing the inside of the apartments and they look MUCH BETTER but the outside is trashed. Please clean up all that mess
Kelly Jones: Terrible maintenance and even worse staff. Suppose to be a utility reimbursement for low income but none has been disbursed in months.
Andrea Shines: Dangerous
Lisa Grubbs: Do I really have to say? Don't we all know how terrible this place is ? 🤦🏼‍♀️
Joseph Green: Rough
Kyle Shumate: It's like the mall
Dominique Diaz: Terrible place i was there for a month and when i tell u im so glad to be out of there so dirty stank and just ughhh i can go on and on
Rick Heathcock: run down and not clean
Rêňéè Mãŕtìñ: This is literally a stepping stone. Stay here while you build your money up enough to move to a better place. This shouldn't be a permanent place for anyone 🤦
Rose Cruz: The tenants needs help out there
JUICExGOD: Horrible Living!! Stairways smell like piss ,laundry area doesnt operate at all ,Very Filthy Place and needs New Management or Needs to be shut down completely
Dona Hall: Not good

Georgetown Apartments: what do users think?
Elizabeth Smith: Georgetown will not renew our lease FOR NO REASON. My mother and I are both disabled and pay our rent at least two weeks early every month. We have done NOTHING WRONG to deserve this treatment.
Eric Firstenberger: As a first time renter, they’ve been very nice with answering the many questions I had about the leasing process. Respond to maintenance requests promptly. Glad I live here!
Kevin Swihart: Been living here almost 4 years I’ve had a great experience the whole time I’ve been here the pro’s are washer/dryer in the Apartments, thegarage is great in the winter, the lay out of the Apartment and square footage is one of the reason s I’m still here there is plenty of space, nice appliances thru out. I would say the best part is the front office and the maintenance the Ladies in the office are very professional and have always addressed any needs I have had immediately (which haven’t been many) themaintenance guys and knowledgeable and friendly and quick to fix whatever you need.
sarah Jane: Very nice, quiet clean apartments. Management and maintenance are very professional.
kate weisser: My experience at Georgetown with Jessica and Shauna was very disappointing. It ultimately came down to a lack in management skills and a bad hire at Georgetown. Therefore, I would not recommend working with Jessica if you're looking at apartments here. She provided no information on the property/units/process of applying, touring, or availability unless it was directly asked; even then it was not communicated nicely nor professionally. In my case, they changed the unit I had applied for on my application after it was completed and approved - for a completely different unit without my approval or knowledge. I wouldn't have been notified unless I noticed it myself and questioned it.The apartments look appealing but ultimately I didn't decide to move forward because of the questionable actions made by the staff and management within only a week of communicating with them.
Henry James: I wish I could put negative stars. To paint the picture of my encounter, think of two young college students coming up on graduation that have never rented an apartment before besides students housing and is unfamiliar with the process. After filling out and submitting two $25 applications (me and my gf), we were notified of an issue with what we provided as proof of income which was bank statements showing our employers depositing money into our bank accounts. That was not accepted. Shauna, the rude receptionist, called me to notify us of the issue. I told her I would have talk to my HR rep to find paystubs or some other form of proof since Shauna was not helpful at all in providing what was acceptable. I told Shauna that I would have to wait 1 day because my HR person was not working. That was the same day we received an email saying that our application would be denied by 1:00pm if our applications were not fixed. My gf was able to fix hers but I obviously could not able fix mine and by the time my HR person was in the office the 1 day later to talk to, Georgetown had cancelled our applications and took our $50. Keep in mind we had no idea our proof of income was not accepted until the day before they cancelled our applications and they did not provide a cutoff date and time for fixing our applications until the morning of.Looks like a nice place, but Shauna is not a nice OR a helpful person.
DeadEye428: I'll be honest, it's a mixed bag living here. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, which is a plus; the apartments are spacious, but ill-designed (doors that physically can't open all the way because of shelves, open pipes/drains in the water heater closet that drip all day and night). The place is old. I hear every single step my upstairs neighbor takes and it drives me up the wall. In the bedroom, the kitchen, even the living room, every step. I hear his bedsprings when he's entertaining, and even conversations. Every night I wonder: "Is this the day his bed is gonna crash through the ceiling." Update: he actually moved out, but now theres a 2-years-olds bedroom above. Crying/thumping/jumping all hours of the day hooray! I know the second that kid is up because I'm woken up. 8, 4, 2am, it doesn't matter, once the kids up, theres no way I'm sleeping. The apartment I moved into needed a laundry list of repairs after the repairs they made prior to move-in. Leaky ceiling, small holes in the wall, leaky pipes, rewiring, etc. Maintenance is always extremely quick to respond, and even if they have to come back a couple days later because the fix didn't stick, they do come back quickly. The repairs are usually pretty solid, however any time they bring in a third-party contractor, the contractor will rush through the task and leave without fixing the issue. i.e. I had a wiring problem, which a contractor came to fix, but after continued issues, the property's electrician came out and fixed the issue in under 10 minutes. There are similar problems with renovations done between occupants, as those are outsources as well. I don't blame Georgetown for the holes and leaks that were here when I moved in, but an additional inspection prior to my move-in would have saved some headaches.Groundskeeping is always working and keeping the place looking nice, but you will find cigarette butts just about everywhere. The pool area is pretty well kept, and honestly is only bustling on weekends. There is a private fitness room, but I haven't gone in there because of social distancing.Overall it's an older apartment complex for an okay price point. My advice to management would be to purge their current contractors list; when they need extra hands, find people that are equal to the quality maintenance staff they already have. These third-party contractors are being paid to have their work fixed the next day and thats just a waste of money on the property's part. They are taking steps to fix the place up; they gave me new appliances across the board, new vinyl flooring (that looks like wood) in the kitchen, and just finished replacing the lobby doors on each apartment block.I've had a hard time sleeping ever since I moved in. But the neighborhood feels extremely safe, and we've even got wild turkeys that pop-in some times. The neighbors are a bit cold, but other than the rare theft from an unlocked car, there is zero conflict nor crime. The boon of this complex is the people working on the property. Issues are resolved quickly and they're always friendly. The qualms I have with the space all come from aging buildings that need more than cosmetic carpentry.
Jetta Bunny: One of the worst apartment renting experiences I've had due to new management. The old management team and maintenance was absolutely amazing. Willing to work with you on really any issue, payment plans, concerns, etc. They'd address it immediately, professionally, and try their best to not have have the tenant pay for anything other than their rent if they could avoid it.The new management is the absolute worst. They will try to to have the tenant pay for EVERYTHING they possibly can. They will make NO concessions WHAT SO EVER. NO effort goes into the tenants well being or concerns. They still simply blow you off like you're a waste of their time. Want to switch apartment because your neighbors smoke and keep you up at night with loud noises? GREAT! Here an apartment transfer fee, insane security deposit, and you'll also be forced to move immediately, else face ADDITIONAL charges!Oven broke due to manufactures defect? Well you had better hope it's under a manufacturer's warranty, otherwise guess what? It's coming out of YOUR pocket! The manager also made fun of my wife directly to her face while we were both standing in the room. Incredibly rude, untrustworthy, arrogant, and spiteful people.A once amazing management team who actually cared about tenants has been replaced by ruthless, money grubbing tyrants who couldn't care less about their tenants, and do ANYTHING they possibly can to drain you of any money to protect their bottom line. They're also closing access to the gym at night, simply because their office is being renovated. Yet again, making their tenants suffer because they want something for themselves. Despicable.
Angie Wright: I truly rate this Community a five star. However, it is only because of the new owners we got last year. They have put a lot of money renovating apartments, new roof, our own garage with everyone having their own garage door opener, but that is due to the new owners. As far as the new people they hired and that means everyone, I won’t rate the property manager because it would probably be a negative 5 star. She is rude. She constantly lies. She treats the residents here like children. Her attitude is not one that is a professional. I along with several other residents feel the same. I am just one of the many who have lived for years. New residents haven’t a clue unless they were to have a conflict with her. She forgets that it is the residents who pays her salary. We are short staff as far as maintenance people and they do their best. Again, as far as the property managers really lacks professionally in a business like this. The grounds on this property has a lot to be desire, again only due to lack of grounds people and knowledge of how to keep it looking beautiful or just plain do not have time. We had no one that knew anything about how to take care of the pool. It was closed down for 2 of the hottest weeks in July and again closed for at least 3 more days because the pool was disgusting. It took finally contacting the Regional Manager that listens and got right on the problem. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Lack of personality and professionalism on the Property Managers part. Overall this is a beautiful place to live.
Carneisha Dunlap: Just recently moved to our apartment and my family and I absolutely love it. If you're looking for spacious apartments , a safe environment, friendly neighbors and staff then look no further. The office staff is phenomenal, the maintenance is very prompt upon request. I'd definitely recommend this apartment for your future home .
Regena Lowery: It's a nice place, you will love it here!!!
Salespro: The staff In the office are super friendly and work around you if they can! They are always listening to help out in anyway they can!Would recommend the place souly on them! Jenny is also very amazing at her job and continues to amaze me. Planning on moving in mid July
Anita Wright: The complex has gone through upgrades sence 2014 and is looking very nice. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. Georgetown is a nice place to live.
刘世康: People here are extremely friendly! When I first meet with my neighbors, they brought me pizza and beverages since they know moving in takes a lot effort.
Cristina Freshour: AMAZING place to live! If you want quiet and safe, then this is it. The staff is very diligent with any issue no matter how big or small (Jason is the BEST). Any maintenance issues gets resolved in hours or a day depending on the issues. I've never felt more at home with my neighbors. Let's not forget the space they provided for the price. The master bedroom... Just take a look for yourself. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I have
Kelly Barrett: Staff is great apartments are nice
BloodElf B: I've lived here since May of 2016 and I absolutely love it. Maintenance is extremely quick on dealing with anything that occurs. Management is professional and understanding. The views are amazing, the pet friendly environment is great. The community is VERY diverse and I love that. The location is ideal, close enough to the things I need and removed enough to feel like I've found a peaceful place to come home too. I highly recommend this community.
John Gavazzoni: Under new management . Staff is super friendly and so is the maintenance team. I love this place. Great location and very nice apartments
Zoe Habel: At first wen we moved in we luved it. The area was nice and it was pretty affordable. But then we started to notice that the office ladies just sit outside all day smoking cigarettes. All they want is ur money then they'll find any reason they can to kick u to the curb.
Caitlyn Calkins: Please check the internet and you yourself will see pictures and quality of this complex. They made the news on the Aug 30-2013 for the poor conditions this site is in. Green pool, not mowed, potholes that are HUGE everywhere, shut off electric to garages and hallways with no lighting due to them not paying their utility bills. Which they tell tenants it is a electrical problem, Garbage service has been terminated due to non payment on their end. Very dangerous at night with no lighting. Very unprofessional staff. Never return calls from tenants. Very disappointed for the price of rent that this site should be top of the line managed. The health department should shut them down until all repairs are made. They put up signs to say the pool is closed due to service that is a joke they just dont take care of it and the sign stays up all year. The lying needs to stop from the staff. Be honest!!!!! They just blow you off so they don't have to deal with you. Please do yourself a favor and be sure to check fully into apartment sites this is not the one for anyone.
