Colleen Turley: They stock the ice to high so it melts because the cold air can't circulate so all the ice starts to melt. This is at Walmart on Indian Ridge in Mishawaka. There is frozen ice on the bottom so ppl can't get the ice because it is frozen. It needs to be emptied out.
Heather Ryman: We use them in Ligonier for our RV company and no one has returned our call or brought ice since the end of June. Extremely poor service and extremely poor staff. A 1 star is giving them too much credit. Please do not use them.
M: Unfortunately Home City Ice is the only Ice delivery company locally so we are forced to use them. That is the only reason they have our business!!! this place is the most unprofessional terrible and rude company I have ever had to work with in my history of working with vendors. They are extremely rude, never give an eta and dont want to speak with us when we try to communicate. I had called 3 weeks ago and told them our ice was low and they never came and said I never called. We are now going to look at any possible option out there to get away from this company. Trust me you wont be happy, they just don't care.
AgeofAquarius 61: The ice has become lousy. It used to come in nice big pieces, now it's a bunch of little bitty pieces, much of it like crushed ice or smaller. I don't know why this change was made but, it's certainly not for the better. It melts as soon as liquid is added and just waters the drink down. I hope you will go back to how it was made before. Until then I'm going to have to quit buying it.

Roger Savoie: Very cramped indoor area with a door that slams so hard you jump every time it slams shut.The ice cream is just very generic.
Michelle Savoie: Worst ice cream I've ever had. Not exaggerating. I couldn't even finish it. Tastes like Elmer's school glue. There's only 2 tables, the one we sat at felt like it was ready to fall apart, door slams very loudly every time someone comes in and employee working behind the counter was about as friendly as a rock. No redeeming qualities at this establishment.
Melissa Boussom: The owner of The Whistle Stop is a food artist. He took great care to make our sundaes look as attractive as they were delicious. We were delighted to discover he takes a dollar off his sundae price on Sunday, making his 2 scoop sundae cheaper than a 2 scoop bowl! Yes, please! When his whipped cream dispenser emptied, I was thrilled to see him pull a glass jug of cream from a local creamery near my home out of his cooler to make a new, homemade batch right there in front of us. Whipped cream never tasted so good!! The ice cream was fabulous! The hot fudge was perfect! I'm so glad I searched "ice cream near me" tonight! You need to go!
Jon Lee: First and last time here. The guy who works here was a total weirdo and had really really bad BO. After we got our ice cream we went and sat down to eat and he sat right behind us awkwardly. I’m not sure why anyone would go here again with such unpleasant service.

I tried their toasted coconut, and absolutely loved it.Super glad there's a non-dairy ice cream shop in town – and it's so fun to grab an ice cream cone and take a walk through Howard Park.
