J B: Rice is good. Tommy’s Long Island ice tea good. Orange chicken tough , little orange flavour & nothing Chinese about the meal. I guess I’m use to a more authentic Chinese meal. I left most behind. Even though I was hungry. Bar area was cluttered with boxes.
David Martin: We tried it because it favorite restaurant was closed. The food was good (somehow I lost the pictures). The service was faster than expected. We had plenty to take home.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Egg Rolls …More

Teo Brown: If you don't have a meal here, you are missing out. The service, atmosphere, and friendly servers are only part of what makes this a great restaurant. The food is delectable. And, did I forget to mention the prices? Why, yes I did. The prices are phenomenal. There aren't enough words for things at Ho Ping House. This is my go-to for all things delicious.
NATURALLY DAY’S EYE: Good food, good prices and good service. Enjoyed lunch in a calm and relaxing environment. There is a bar located inside. I was able to add additional veggies to my order for only 2 dollars.Recommended dishes Chicken Lo Mein …More
Monica Hoban: BUYER BEWARE!!The only reason they get one star is because I can't give them zero which is what they deserve. I considered myself a good customer, not any more.I picked up my carry out order tonight to find that the Triple Delight that we ordered was made X Spicy. The dish is a spicy dish, but this was made so spicy that we could not eat it. It was marked on the container X Spicy. I called and complained as this was not our fault. We did not order it x spicy and we were not able to eat it because it was so spicy. They gave me a hard time but agreed to replace it. Back in the car I go to drive back to the restaurant to get my not so spicy Triple Delight. I showed the girl behind the counter the marking of X Spicy on my container. There was NO APOLOGY for their mistake of making it X Spicy in fact she was very put off by my complaint. I get home to cold rice (the only thing replaced was the Triple Delight) and cold rest of my meal. Triple Delight was once an item we loved. Not any more. They are now using a salad size shrimp and there were 3 very tiny pieces of scallop. Unfortunately this restaurant that usually served an A+ meal has gone way down hill. There are way too many Asian food options in South Bend. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Serafina Fiechtner: Not as good as it's Niles brother the garden, but very good, and I went here since childhood. I used to call it The Donkey House because of the horse statue in front. Besides the stone soldiers and equine greeting, food is good, Singapore Chao Mein fun curry noodles and hot and sour soup is the best. Unlike Ho Ping Garden, this place has no sushi, Miso, or any of the more Japanese dishes.Kid-friendliness: My 6 year old brother loves this place too!Parking: Good parking lot. Plenty of both handicap and normal spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Not very cluttered.

zio bronson: I got rat bones in my dumplings. I go here frequently and when i got my order i had gotten rat bones. I am never going here again.
Volrain: Decided to give this a shot after working nearby for quite some time. Can't say I'm disappointed.First off their menu is massive, you could probably find whatever you're craving here if you look around. Speaking of their menu they have some really neat options and mix-ups of the usual dishes.I got Harumaki, Yellowtail Sashimi, and Pepper Steak with white rice. The Harumaki were really good and the sauce that came with it made it all that much better, I also got an eggroll with my stuff which was a plus and that was good too.The Sashimi had splendid presentation and tasted great with their soy sauce.Lastly the Pepper steak was real solid, probably some of the best I've gotten out in a restaurant really. The rice was somewhat sticky and fluffy, the steak was good to perfection, and the veggies paired really well with everything else. They also have plenty of options for various diets so you can still enjoy the foods you love without worry.Overall 10/10 would recommend trying this place out.

ASPRS Scholarships: So bad service, people, and food there. Highly against this restaurant.
shannon williams: ABSOLUTELY CHEAP! Charge you for everything they can! Never again.

Ryan: Don't be optimistic. Don't even think "oh why not, let's give it a go". You will be disappointed. You will receive subpar and pre-made food at best, with flat, dull, extremely basic flavor. Nothing was made fresh, it seemed like they just got it from a hot tray and fridge. I cannot speak on their sushi, but im sure martins will suffice beyond theirs. Just down the road, too. As for the lo mein, fried rice, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken goes, head to the UP mall. They will take care of your needs there.
Jonathan Skrabak: Charging $12 for fried rice??? I've never seen this in my life! Price gouging at its finest. Re-think your prices while you charge $13.00 for full entrees.Won't come back until you make some adjustments.
Link Winter: I've been a loyal IGD customer for several years now, and while their American Chinese and sushi menus are both good, what always keeps me coming back is the authentic Sichuanese menu! I only wish I could eat it for every meal, from the tomato and egg stir fry to the fish and tofu in chili sauce, and everything in between. There's a reason food from Sichuan is among the world's best cuisines, and Ichiban is where I get my fix!I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with the staff, as others have claimed in their reviews, but I personally believe you get back what you put into the world, so I believe in being respectful at all times. They've never messed up my order, either, and when some ingredient is out of stock (normally the Chinese eggplant, which is difficult to come by in the first place), they always phone me to ask if I can make a substitution.Incidentally, I'm sitting in their parking lot while I write this, waiting for my takeout to be ready. Hi guys!
