Katie was not your average sales person, she went above and beyond to help me come up with the perfect plan at the right price and even texted me to keep me in the loop. Jo Fe1256: I usually don’t leave reviews unless I have something truly positive to say, and I am also a very forgiving person, however, my nightmare that began the first week of November with Jared’s has still not been resolved, so I feel it is important to continue to share my story with others…On November 2, I dropped off my wedding ring of 20 years (engagement & wedding band) to Jared’s Jewelers. They were to enhance/customize only my engagement ring; not my wedding band. We were told & promised the engagement ring would be completed by January 9, as stated on our receipt. It was not.On January 27, we finally received a phone call that my customized engagement ring was ready for pick up. We went to the store. We spoke with the store manager, who had to take over the order due to poor communication from the original sales representative. He told us horrifying news. Not only was my engagement ring made incorrectly, my wedding band (which was NOT to be touched) was destroyed!! They stripped all of the diamonds off both my original engagement and wedding band and used it to make a completely new customized ring. I was told they no longer had any evidence left of my original wedding rings that I have had for 20 years minus 2 minuscule pieces of what is now scrap metal.As you can imagine the devastation of hearing that news. I wasn’t even able to talk, just sob, as the pain of the loss was overwhelming. The manager apologized for their unbelievable mishap. He offered us a brand new wedding band but informed us it would take an additional 2 to 3 weeks for it to come in which was bewildering to my husband and I because you would think he would’ve put a rush on ordering the wedding band given that his company destroyed my original wedding ring but that was simply not the case. Needless to say at the time, I didn’t want a new wedding band, I wanted my original wedding band that my husband gave me 20 years ago on our wedding day that was not supposed to be touched by Jared’s. It was left at their store to be soldered together with the new customized engagement ring. The company that I entrusted with my original wedding rings, created a nightmare, that I will have to live with forever.We also asked for a refund, but was told they would have to go through their corporate, which would be an additional 7 to 10 business days. It is now past day 10 and there is still no resolution. I am still without rings or any compensation. All I am left with is the knowledge that their company made the customized ring incorrectly and destroyed my wedding band in the process so now I am left with nothing of my original wedding rings.The irony of my story is the day my husband & I stepped into their store, I was extremely apprehensive about customizing my original engagement ring, but my husband wanted to do this for me for our 20th wedding anniversary. I was extremely indecisive about what I wanted to have done, but I was reassured by the gentleman that assisted us that evening that I would be so happy with the results…As I know anyone can appreciate the sentimental value of a wedding ring, it’s not something you can just replace or recreate by choice & then to be told to have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks for a replacement is simply unbelievable & an additional 7-10 business days for compensation but here we are past their promised words and I still have nothing. We have decided we do not want any rings from them as placing a ring on my finger from Jared’s would be a constant reminder of this tragedy. We are still waiting for our compensation…I will update my review when the situation resolves and hopefully soon. :(

They are knowledgeable, they are interested in finding what you want. They care about the product they are selling you. And they care after the sale as well. They were willing to help and rectify the issues that arised and were quick to correct them.
