East Bank Learning Center: what do users think?
Bree Hansen: My kids LOVE it here and every single teacher loves those kids like their own. So happy we came to East Bank. My kids don’t cry when they get dropped off. Sometimes they don’t even want to leave! Lol. My point is that they deserve an A+. Especially now during this pandemic. They’re sanitizing everyone’s lockers now and since we’ve had them home for a week, one of my son’s teachers (Miss Beth) actually volunteered to take his nap bedding and snow pants home to be washed so that I didn’t have to drag the kids out of the house to come pick it up. Long story short - I highly recommend.Edit: it’s been a year and we’ve moved- but we miss you guys!
kdowlut: You will not find a better early learning/childcare program than at East Bank Learning Center! My sons (7 and 4) have attended EBLC since my eldest was 1.5 years old and has become family to us! All of the teachers are extremely dedicated, loving and nurturing — they know all of the children at the center, not just the children in their class. I also cannot give enough praise and gratitude to the Owner/Director Mrs. Mellody!!! Not only is she extremely professional and compassionate, she has a heart of gold and loves the children as her own. My sons and I are blessed to consider Mellody, Miss Beth, Miss Justice, Miss Joceline, Miss Lisa and every other teacher family!! ❤️
Rashea Hill: East Bank has been apart of our family for the last 10 years!! We love East Bank. Thank you for your love and dedication over the years.
Sarah Ried: Trying to figure out where to send our two year old daughter to school was hard - especially since she had been home with us fulltime since birth. The moment I walked into East Bank, I knew this was the place for us! The staff and kids were full of smiles and waved hello - they all looked so happy to be there. It was exceptionally clean. The classrooms offer lots of sensory play, and the outdoor space is nice and open with lots of activities. The teachers are phenomenal - always coming up with fun activities and crafts, and accept the kids who miss their parents with open arms and cuddles. Our daughter gets so excited to go to school every day, so much that she talks about it and her teachers on the weekends. Becoming part of the East Bank family was the best decision we ever made.
Millie W: My child went here for a year and always had the best care. They have the highest accreditation, paths to quality level, and staff. Definitely one of the best in the area.
Mubarakah Adebisi: EBLC has been great for me and my family. We have our 2 boys enrolled at the center and they helped us in the process of potty training our son. I'm very grateful to Mellody as she would take our 3 yo to the potty every 30 minutes. She put in alot of effort to help him and we could see improvement in his potty training. I would definitely recommend them. Great atmosphere, positive energy and the boys love it there.
Megan Bilderback: Our daughter has been at East Bank since she turned one (she is now 3). She loves going to school everyday and we have been very happy with the level of service. We feel our standards are very high for what we want for our daughter and East Bank is meeting those standards. We understand that no daycare/preschool will be perfect but the director, Ms Melody has always been quick to help us resolve any concerns we have brought to her attention. Our daughter has learned so much and is offered opportunities like gymnastics, special events, and fun activities. We also have felt that East Bank has done a great job handling the pandemic with extra cleaning, an improved check in process with temp checks, notifying us of any potential exposure and we have felt very comfortable with sending our child there.Overall you will find an educational, warm and caring environment at East Bank.
Heather: We found out they were putting false information in the app where they report how the kids eat and sleep, etc. My daughter is lower weight so I had gone out of my way to speak with the director and her teacher about keeping a possible eye out. For two weeks my daughter apparently refused the lunch but they marked her as "eaten most" of her food because "most kids ate most of their meal". Her teacher then told me I should just be happy she was giving my daughter "love". I would have asked the teachers directly about how she was eating but I was continuously told to check the app instead for information about my kid. The response from her teacher and the admin have been so incredibly disappointing. When my husband and I took our concerns to the admin she told us we were welcome to withdraw our kid from the school. No accountability or effort to work with parents. Honestly, there's very little supervision and oversight, and issues are swept under the rug. I'm so heartbroken because I trusted these people and in the end, was told "you had a bad experience". I genuinely worry about what else is going on there behind closed doors. Also attached is a photo of the truly disgusting "homemade" lunch they serve. I'm not surprised my daughter refused eat it!
Spencer Raber: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI have worked at EBLC for almost 3 years now and it has been the best work environment. My coworkers are some of my best friends, the families are the sweetest, and leadership cares not only about how you’re doing in the workplace but how you’re doing in your daily life. I’m thankful to be a part of East Bank.
Gina Dee: Positive:Communication,Quality,ValueAbsolutely love Eastbank learning center. My daughter is currently in the kindergarten class and she loves it.
Madison Schaffer: The best place to work, learn, and grow! I have loved being a part of the East Bank family!
Erinn Fuller: We have been a part of the EBLC family for 6 years now through 3 different children. The care, love, and commitment that the staff and teachers show each and every day to make our family feel safe and secure while striving toward a strong development and education base is second to none. There is no better early childhood education center around. They have kept their Highscope early education certification since the center opened. I am truly blessed to have found this center and recommend it to everyone who asks.
Christina Elfar: East Bank is so much more than I could’ve ever hoped for. My husband and I visited dozens of places trying to find the place that felt the best. With each place we visited our list of cons was always longer until we visited East Bank. The AMAZING staff treats you like family and your child as if they were their own. They take your concerns into account and learn each child and parent individually. The teachers and staff work extremely hard to teach each child all that they can. I am completely blown away each time my child comes home having learned something I thought would be out of her realm of understanding. These wonderful people take such good care of our daughter that by the end of the day she is sad to leave her friends and teachers because she had so much fun. This place is everything a parent could want and more!
Leslie Brenner: I cannot sing enough praises for EB Learning Center! My daughter has been there for two years so far and she loves her teachers. She transitioned from her former daycare so quickly and smoothly, which put me at ease with the change we made. As a parent, I love to know that the classes use Highscope curriculum to provide a structured day and that my child is being well-prepared to transition to pre-k. The staff and director are so incredibly hardworking, supportive, and nurturing. We’re proud to be part of this community.
Heather Holleman: This is the most amazing early learning center! We have sent both of our boys here starting at 12 months, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The director is a hands-on, dedicated advocate for the kids. There is very little turnover in staff, and we have loved every teacher the boys have had. I highly recommend this place for child care.
Hannah Stowe: I absolutely love this place. If I wasn't changing jobs to be a stay-at-home mom, I would leave my son here for as long as I could. All of the staff know his name, whether they are his classroom teacher or not. The children get to do a variety of activities, from singing, dancing, painting, coloring, play dough, water activities, and lots more -- with lots of outside time, too. My son will sing children's songs at home that I know he couldn't have learned anywhere else! He had persistent diaper rash at the last place I sent him to, and after we changed to East Bank I quickly realized this was directly related to the care he was receiving, not to sensitive skin or the other excuses I was given. After a week at East Bank, his rash was totally healed, and I know it's because they change him when and as often as they say they are going to. I have total confidence that not only his basic needs are being provided at East Bank, but that he is also learning and being challenged and feels loved and cared for while there. What a beautiful place!

Kellen Brackus (Yoshino-324b): They are so loud and annoying. I live right near them and they steal toys out of our yard all the time. They also seem to be allowed to use bad language and yell curse words at us when we are playing outside. ABSOLUTELY awful...
Nellie Carroll: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,ResponsivenessThey are great with the kids and I am amazed at how much he has learned, keep up the good work!!!
Kristen Crandall: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Tamara Harness: The best daycare i could ask for, for my children!!!!

Paul Rumbach: Good, reliable daycare
Ny Janaé: Before working here or bringing your children here read this:This facility lacks structure. As a previous employee, I can ensure you that this facility is terrible. The management is bad as well. After school care room is probably the worst room there. The kids are constantly yelled at and mistreated, especially the minority children. The kids were constantly complaining to me about their teacher. And I see why. I brought the issue up to her superiors and nothing was done about it. Teachers are on their phones, FaceTiming their boyfriends, etc. I was a summer help employee, and I quit. They would not pay me the same as the other summer help and hawked it up to “my major” which is psychology and pre-med. Which is an invalid reason. I have hospital experience. I am a second year college student. One of the employees getting paid more than I, was fresh out of high school and had been working there slightly before she graduated. I applied over a month before I started, due to a summer class. The unequal pay, I found out on accident. I have an internship at a lovely hospital with great staff. Where I take vitals, weight, temp, height, the whole nine yards. Evaluate why the patient is in, etc. I am a minority as well, and they completely discriminated against me and this will for sure be reported. For a place called friend’s it is the complete opposite of friendly. The kids are amazing, so cute. They do not deserve to be treated the way they are and I made to be extremely kind to them all. In fact, on my last day a handful of them cried. I couldn’t take seeing African American kids being treated the way they are. But it wasn’t exclusive to minority children, all of them suffer some kind of bad treatment. That is however, mostly in the after school care/summer camp section. It hurt to leave those kids but I refused to work in a discriminatory environment where teachers are favored. Also. They expect you to stay over and clean but don’t pay you. Because they didn’t hire a new cleaning company after one flopped. When you sign out, even if it is after 6 P. M. it says “you will be checked out at 6:00 P. M.” Which I’m pretty sure is fraud? Anyways, they waited over a week to go over the handbook with me, but we did not finish going over it. So I was told I would be emailed a copy, which I was not. After I brought up the unequal pay I was told to bring my transcripts, which is also not needed considering the fact I brought in my deans list certificate from this last semester. Which is something I receive every semester. I don’t even want to get into the lack of cleanliness. Teacher don’t wear shoes all the time, don’t always wear gloves, oh and they don’t spray the cots with bleach water everyday. The toys don’t get cleaned very often either. Let’s not forget maggots being in the sandbox and the children being told it is “natural”. I’ve never seen such stupidity. I made sure to tell all of them, it is NOT natural and to NOT pick them off. Animals were doing their business in the sandboxes, and children were picking up the solidified poop!! Disgusting! It’s so sad. I couldn’t believe how outrageous it was. I don’t think management passed middle school science class! Completely unsanitary. Some teachers really do give their best effort though and they deserve recognition for that. In all of this I forgot to mention, they attempted to withhold my check. They lied about it as well. I went to pick up my last one on payday, and the director swore she didn’t have it. Which is already a problem. So I went BACK that same Friday and she said she did not have it again. She lied and I have her text to prove it! Saying she was authorized to distribute my check and I could come BACK AGAIN to pick up my check. Overall it’s a horrid place to work and bring your kids. Make sure you all are asking your kids how their day really wash and asking questions. Because kids won’t always tell you unless you ask. I documented and observed everything that was done to me, and the unsanitary conditions your children are in. That’s all.
Jessica Bauer: We absolutely love Friends! Our daughter has been going there since she was four months old and she is now almost 2 1/2. They do a great job of having fun activities, thoughtful lesson plans and working with each individual child’s skill set.Recently, our son has started going to Friends in December. He is 5 months old now and can show emotion, and he absolutely lights up every day we drop him off to both Ms Amys. I am so thankful for such loving ladies. I also like that the infant room is beautiful, bright and very interactive for the first year of development. They also use the Brightwheel app so we are able to see what our children are doing each day/pics/videos and all activity - gives great peace of mind.Overall, we are very happy with Friends. My husband and I had visited many daycare facilities around town when we first started looking. We chose Friends because of the warm and welcoming feeling it had and we just knew it would be a good fit for our family.Thank you Clara and your team for providing such a safe and happy environment for our babies.
Amy Moses: I highly recommend Friends Early Learning Center. Clara Stalvey, the owner is a caring and very approachable person. Dani Lawrence as the new Director, is always present and very supportive of her staff, the children, and their families. She is a welcome addition! Congratulations to the great staff at Friends on maintaining the highest, Level 4, Paths to Quality rating.
Marissa Kay: Our daughter started at Friends when she was 8 weeks old and remained there until she was 15 months old. We had such a wonderful experience sending our daughter there. She was loved and was very well cared for. They have an app you can download where they can share pictures with you, note what and when baby ate, etc. With our daughter being our first kid, we didn’t know what to expect and they helped coach us along. They helped her work toward whatever goal we were working on at home. We no longer need childcare and were so sad to pull her away from her friends but we would choose them again if we need childcare.
Deanna Molina: Definitely would not recommend due to the obvious lack of professionalism and regard for child's well-being!!!
hana zeidenberg: I just wanted to mention that my two daughters attended Friends and experienced the highest standard of care and nurturing. The teachers encouraged their development, and prepared them for school. Ms. Amy, Ms. Heathers, and Ms. Jasmine have touched our hearts and I will forever remember their hard work and kindness, and for giving my children one-one attention, crucial to their social and emotional development. Much love to the friends and the staff at Friends Early Learning Center.
Xiaoning Wang: not recommended.
Andrew Goul: This place is great! My daughter absolutely loves it here. They offer other activities like gymnastics. They are teaching her something new everyday.
John Parkhill: We didn't have any options this good in Boston. The staff are extremely caring and giving with their attention to the children.Parents feel welcome to drop in at any time. It's a great place; and the location is good too.
Anne Hayes: In 2010, my family moved back to South Bend and we began our search for a high quality child care option for our infant. We selected Friends School and Day Care and we are very pleased with our choice. Both of our children now attend Friends and we know they are in a safe environment with teachers who care about our children and their education. From a young age, the children learn to interact with others, problem solve, communicate and be creative. Whether it is growing a summer garden with classmates, reading books, playing outside or working on an art project, the kids at Friends are having fun while learning. I am incredibly thankful to everyone at Friends for providing a safe and effective learning environment for my children.

Miranda Horvath: Critical:Communication,QualityWas told by the facility my son could not attend program because his school would not provide homework but would not let me provide. School told me they were nevet contacted by facility. Something about this didnt seem right. My son was denied help.
Region Rat: Best creeper parking spot so close to everything and now it will be no more. The next chapter in free parking begins next year.
Anna Moss: Wonderful community, great staff, and an amazing tutoring program. The Lego Robotics program is terrific, and my personal favorite!

Growing Kids Childcare Center: what do users think?
Alexander: Don't bring your kids. My kid has been hit three times and they haven't removed the child and said to move My child to another class like he's the problem. They do not call if he's been hit by another student either even when sent to the nurse. Will be moving My kids to some place safe. Especially with all the money this place charges.
Efraim Oswanski-Polk: I attended this daycare as a pre-adolescent during the summer of 2010, and the way I was treated by the staff and the higher ups was absolutely awful. I was ostracized by teachers and was treated differently by the staff and was painted as a "trouble-child" which led to other kids seeing me as being different and not wanting to include me. I had a very hard time after attending this place when it came to making friends, and lost a lot of self confidence and developed symptoms of depression which carried over into my teen years. I've since gone through therapy and grew out of my insecurities, but I will never forget how awful coming here every single day was.
Heather: It really depends on the teachers your child has here - some are awesome and others are totally checked out. Unfortunately I've heard from their teachers that they're not paid well or given sick days/PTO and for that reason the staff with employment options tends to leave. The center director (EH) is awful to work with as a parent and a real dragon lady. She seems miserable and takes it out on everyone else which is sad to see. Growing Kids is a safe enough place if you just need somewhere to store your kid while at work but I wouldn't recommend it for anything beyond that (look elsewhere for early childhood education, gentle care or happy employees).
Marlon DeLonis Deleon: Our two kids started here when they were 2.5 and 3.5 years old and they both love it here. The schedule, the teachers, the snacks/meals. They can't stop talking about their friends and all the things they play. The staff keeps parents informed very well, through emails and the LifeCubby app which includes pictures. And they handle all things sickness and injuries and allergies very well! Definitely thankful the Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship is applicable here!
Belinda Lopez: Don't bother with getting on the waitlist. We put ourselves on the waitlist back in May of 2021 when I was still pregnant and were told there would be openings in December. November and December of 2021, I got an email AND phone call informing me that an available spot wouldn't be available until Spring of 2022 and was asked if I wanted to stay on the waitlist to which I replied that I still needed daycare. Today I get a phone call (now January 2022) informing me that there won't be an available spot until the END of this year or the beginning of 2023. When I responded I was told spring 2022 they tried to blame it on another center and then informed me that parents who already have children enrolled at the daycare have priority to enroll other children when they get pregnant again. So basically even though I reserved "my spot", it was given to someone else at the center who got pregnant after me. Not only is this place unreliable, they are also not forthcoming because even though now the new "deadline" is the end of this year, there is no guarantee I would still have my spot and would have to wait longer. 2+ years on a waitlist is ridiculous when your place on it is constantly surrendered to someone else no matter when you got on it. I ended up removing myself from the waitlist because now they have cost me my job with their games. To say I'm both upset and disappointed is an understatement.
Lauren Anderson: We were unable to enroll our son here after spending 17 months on the infant and toddler waitlists. We toured in March 2019 and were told the next opening would likely be in 6 months, which was right when we would need care. They charged $25 to go on the “Preferred Waitlist,” after which we received no updates about our spot unless we called ourselves. Over a year later, they started emailing asking if we still wanted to keep our spot on the list, but still without openings. It seemed like an adequate facility if there is an immediate spot open, but I think it’s disingenuous to charge for spots on a list that will never be available.
Tokozile Mlambo: I love this daycare center. The teachers and staff are very professional and knowledgeable about handling children. I appreciate their transparency and open communication. As a parent who is VERY particular about who I leave my child with, I am able to go to work with complete ease of mind that my little one is in great hands! They are a little pricy, but I pay their tuition happily because it is totally worth it!
Meghan Zeedyk: My daughter loves going to school there. The teachers are so friendly and everyone knows everyone. It really is like a family there. She is also learning and retaining a lot of the lessons. Growing Kids is a great place to send your children.
Andia Payne: Love this school and the staff are great would definitely recommend!
Lukas Huston: Staff was friendly and helpful. Teachers were great for my son and he learned a lot while he was there. Growing Kids was my top choice daycare provider and still is.
Jeni Prosperi-Sullivan: My kids were at Growing Kids SR23 for a total of 7 years. We still use GK for summer camp, winter camp, spring camp, and the occasional day off school. Our family loves the teachers and staff at GK. They have become like additional family to our kiddos. My kids feel safe there, and I feel like I have an open line of communication with the teachers and staff. No place is perfect, but I would recommend GK SR23 without hesitation to anyone looking for reliable and loving child care!
Linh Tran: I have to say I'm glad I didn't send my baby there. The manager lied to me. She showed me everything when I toured the place and said my son could get in at the end of August. I planned all my work and everything so he could restart daycare around that time. I called a couple of times and still I was told at the end of August. But then today I called because it's the end of August already, the manager said it will be December. I was shocked. I told her last week she promised end of August but now December. That made so confused. She apologized that she forgot to mention she would need to offer the spots to other families ahead of me on the wait list. Are you serious? I asked specifically when my son could start. Is it that difficult to know? I'm a supervisor at a big university and I have managed more than 50 people in my department. This daycare center has just a few classrooms with just 10 kids in a classroom. How difficult is it to know who's on the waiting list and who will get the spots in order? Or the manager just lied straight to me to keep me on the wait? And it's not that I didn't ask. I called at least 3 times and they didn't even know? And just one week after they tell me that? That's just absurd!I remember the manager checked the list and told me there were only a few families signed up before me and my skn would be able to start at the end of August. Now my whole plan is screwed up. I cannot start work as planned and instead have to stay at home to take care of my son. I don't understand how this daycare is accredited when management is so poor. I'm so disappointed and glad at the same time, my son won't have to stay with these people who I can't even trust in the first place.
Heather Gerlach: I absolutely love the infant room! Ms. Louise and Ms. Edel are wonderful. I feel so confident leaving my daughter with them and know that she’s in excellent hands! I was previously at another daycare in town and the difference is night and day. I know that she’s well taken care of, stimulated and in a secure environment. I recommend all new parents that I know to this location!
Shannyboo Lovelady: They are VERY helpful, caring, and VERY professional! I love it there!
Will Randerson: My wife had to move to South Bend for a 8 month period with our son (1 years old) while I had to stay in North Carolina with the military. Under these circumstances we were unable to visit the Day Care or be able to really search around. This would also be our sons first day care experience instead of spending all day with mom. Let me just say that they were extremely helpful on the phone/email and were very understanding of our situation from the start. The building is very secure and you are always greeted by someone at the front desk. They have a great system of ensuring only you (or someone you have verified) may pick up your child. They also have a great phone App to ask the parents questions or to share information to you about your child which is updated multiple times a day (i.e hes feeling sick, what he had ate that day, any sort of diaper changes etc). My wife was uneasy at first but after a short period of time she has grown to love this daycare. Within a week ALL the staff new my sons name and my wife. There are multiple teachers for each group of kids and my wife or I never felt like our son was neglected or not taken care of. They have a great scheduled with nap times, play time, fine motor skill time etc so you're child is actually developing instead of just in a room with lots of toys. The teachers are committed and really are amazing caretakers. Our son started in the infant room and had moved to the toddler room which was a huge change for him but Growing kids eased him into it over a weeks time so he could get to know the other kids and teachers. Growing Kids has been nothing but the best for our son and my wife and I are very upset that we will have to be leaving here. We wish we could take this day care with us back to NC. I never leave reviews on places but this one is so deserving of 5 stars.
Stephanie Siegert: One star is too many. Staff sent my nephew to the hospital for a week because they failed to change him out of cold wet clothing during fall/winter weather. He ended up getting pneumonia! Staff is snobby and unwelcoming. I would never recommend Growing kids.
Jessica Schmitt: I know that the center has great security. I know my daughter is safe and in good hands at day care. It is a great facility with a fantastic staff.
Monica Edwards: I like the locked entry at Growing Kids. It is important to me that not just anyone can get into the building. I also like knowing the director is there daily monitoring the operation of the daycare. It is nice to know that they aren't just being babysat all day either. There are a lot of activities that they can do throughout the day that keep them busy and happy. I am so glad that my kids go to Growing Kids. It is a great place to take them.
Amanda Hess: My experience with Growing Kids Learning Center has been great. The staff is always friendly, know each child's name, and is approachable with questions, concerns, or general information about my child. My daughter started going to Growing Kids approximately a year and a half ago. She loves her teachers and has learned 2 foreign languages. She looks forward to all the "extra activities" that are put forth by the staff like the spring fling and holiday concert. My daughter was a special needs child and the staff was polite, understanding, and caring when it came to my child's needs. The staff has worked hand-in-hand with my husband and I, along with the special education teachers (provided by SBSC) that are able to have one-on-one seasons with my child. Thanks to the kind efforts of the staff at Growing Kids Learning Center my daughter has developed out of being a special needs child. I am happy to say that my child attends Growing Kids and would highly recommend any of the staff (teachers or administrators).
Beverly Worden: Unfortuantely I have to agree. I've overheard Beth C at the US23 location in SB, IN tell a bald-faced lie just to back her argument about something to someone. But in general my biggest complaint is the noticeable difference in how they treat professionals, such as parents at Notre Dame, versus parents using assistance (daycare vouchers from state). There is major preferential treatment and attitude toward the more affluent clients. I can't help but feel like this works it way from the office to the classroom. They seem to take a little more care in noticing the progress of a student, cute thngs the kid did, aand really go out of their way to "suck up" so to speak to ND parents (just a little, but it's noticeable). My husband works at ND and my sister in law, divorced & laid off, is on vouchers. Our daughters went together to GK. It was kind of disgusting how they treated her versus me. They stop what they're doing to greet me & my kid on way in or out. My niece's mom had to wait til the front desk employees finished talking about their plans for the weekend, only after she cleared her throat did Erin pause her cell phone convo to address her, impatiently, talking slowly to her like she was a child that she'd had to repeat herself to over & over. Then quickly went back to cell phone suddenly giggly and pleasant as can be again. My sis in law complained but it's just one of many instances where they'd brush her off. I didn't forget that & it is a key reason for why my girl left w/ my niece. Our school opened up a spot for enrollmeht & i took it. I can't believe how different our schools are now compared to GK's! So much more professional and personal. We get tons of pictures, in progress folder and emails. The ball pit was the only great thing about GK. They treated me well, but seeing how they treated voucher families, esp single moms, as "welfare moms", it felt insincere. I do not recommend GK. This partic. location at least.
Isabella Jagger: 99This particular branch was extremely negative experience. I DO NOT recommend this location or any location where Beth Cauffman is director if you expect or value professionalism. My experiences (multiple) have ranged from disappointing, horrendous, to humiliating and degrading. I cant express how offensive this establishment is in their unprofessional regard for my concerns, violations of privacy, and treatment of other clients in front of me, as well as, in front of their children. The front desk personel, Erin, is rude and condescending. I truly felt my child was not safe b/c of the threat of being subject to discrimination if I said anything that might rub the director or teachers the wrong way or make them feel defensive. It's awful to see that your child had to pay for their caretaker's bad day. i'm ashamed of myself for staying as long asI did, not wanting to uproot him and not feeling like I had another option. I do not recommend 17475 Indiana 23 South Bend, IN 46635 location! There ARE BETTER CHOICES. There are 3 families, not including myself, who pulled our kids out and we couldn't be happier or more relieved. You wouldn 't believe how dramatically my child blossomed in the 1st WEEK at a different school. don't let their overzealous focus on security cams (which they brought to my attn many times in one tour) gie you a false sense of security. A facility is only as good as its director. At least in this south bend Growing Kids where Beth Cauffmen abuses her authority.

La Petite Academy of South Bend: what do users think?
Sami Jo Knoll: Grateful doesn’t cover the way I feel about the ladies at this school. Having my daughter be somewhere safe was the main concern when picking a daycare. This facility ensures not only her safety, but her overall social and academic growth. Any concern I’ve ever had was taken seriously even if it was silly because I am THAT anxious mom who worries about everything. They say it takes a village and La Petite SB is my village. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, ladies.
Esty Perez: I really don’t like to write bad reviews but this people were unbelievable. Please whoever yelled at me cuz I called 2 days so they can keep me in mind so I don’t lose my job, gets fired, (that’s how businesses works lady). Parents, if this teacher yelled at me, think about what could happen to you kids, food for thought.
Carol Jane: My two boys have been going to La Petite for a couple years now and the teachers and all the staff there are absolutely phenomenal!!! They all pay special attention to the individual children and have the best activities and programs for the kids, including special themes on different days of the week. I would highly recommend La Petite to any family looking for childcare. The teachers will treat you and your children as they are family! I couldn't ask for a better place to take my children :)
Heather Hayes: My daughter has only been attending for several months in the Toddler Room. She started out very quiet and shy but now has her favorite teachers. She has blossomed under the care of all her wonderful teachers, is hugging her friends, speaking words more clearly, and loves the enrichment activities that they provide. She's also learning to explore and test her gross motor skills more effectively. All of the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely cares for the families and children they serve! So happy we chose La Petite SB!!
