Joe Anand-Obleton: This is an outstanding restaurant. It's a breakfast, brunch, and lunch type place. My husband Michael and I have been here four times now. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and they already remember us (as we're instant regulars). Worth special mention, Elena, Amber, Karla, and Meg are awesome (thank you for your great service)! The food is so good! We've tried a few different things, and they've all been great (chicken parmesan sandwich 🍗🥪, cheese grits 🧀, fried haddock🐟, cole slaw, side salad 🥗, french fries🍟, chicken tortilla soup 🍲, chicken corn chowder 🍲, and hot tea ☕).This is a must try in South Bend.

Tyler Foley: I’ve probably been to L Street 500 times, and I can tell you in confidence that the owners are not rude at all. They’re both some of the nicest restaurant owners in South Bend. All the food is good, if not great. If it wasn’t good, I wouldn’t go there, and they wouldn’t have tons of regulars. Sincerely, a fat guy that knows more than you.

They should get poppyseed buns and sprinkle celery salt (but not too much).The fries were burnt and super salty. We had to ask for our salads when she brought our meal. Our server was too busy chatting with cooks and other server. The place is clean though.
NATURALLY DAY’S EYE: The shrimp and grits was a true Cajun surprise. It was good, however a lil on the spicy side of things. Service was great. It was much busier today than a month ago.

Raimie Wheeler: The food is so good it's almost magical. The butter served with the rolls is fresh and creamy. I see why everyone raves about the wild mushroom soup. R.a. Wheeler: Absolutely delish but you had better bring your wallet. This is not a cheap place but in exchange your getting top notch food and service. The only downside besides the obvious that it's also not kid friendly unless your kids have an equally exquisite tastes. On the other hand if they do they will not be disappointed. We ate very good and again I would give praise for the service as it was also amazing.Kid-friendliness: Again it's not geared towards children.Parking: I had a pass no thanks to working for the Doubletree across the road otherwise parking would have been further away. But this is also typical of downtown.

That being said, the whole staff was very courteous and welcoming! The food was amazing and the whole staff checked on us periodically and never made us feel unwelcome. 10/10 would go back.

Sonia Cruz: Cafe Navarre has always met and exceeded my expectations with excellent cocktails, food, and service. Our waiter this evening, Josh, was exceptional with the exact right amount of attention and timeliness. I travel to South Bend periodically and this restaurant is always on my top list of places to eat. Excellent waiter Josh. He told us the most popular dishes. He served us very well.
