Chris Davis: Best car buying experience I’ve ever had. No hassle, no pressure. Tim Baransky and Denny Moss were both great to deal with.
Wendy Athens: 1 star is too generous for this haphazard dealership service center. I unfortunately had to use them due to an emergency situation (pothole took out 2 tires). I was charged for a service that was NOT performed (I requested and paid for a full alignment after said run-in with pothole). This was confirmed by an independent repair center, AND another BMW dealership. As a result of them not performing the alignment, all 4 brand new factory recommended Goodyear tires that they installed on my car were destroyed from uneven wear within 20k miles. Their ineptness has caused me quite a bit of unnecessary money and inconvenience, and I don't appreciate it. Go anywhere but Basney to get your BMW serviced. Take one look around the sloppy, dirty and unprofessional looking dealership, and that's your first clue as to how things are run around here.

Robert Albritton: 5 Star service. Was out of town visiting our sons University when my car notified me of an urgent issue. Had the car towed to Basney Imports at around 2:30pm on a Friday and they were closing at 6pm for the weekend. We needed to go home the next day. The Service advisor Josh told us they will do their best to check the car but they were extremely busy and short on technicians. He must have sensed our desperation because he told us that the Service Manager, Dean, would look at the car. Like a professional he found the issue and repaired the car within an hour. These guys were life savers. Also, a nice gentleman, Chad, showed his off his Salesmanship by offering to sell us a car just in case. They took a bad situation and made it pleasant with their honesty and friendliness. We live over 600 miles away but when I buy another BMW it will be at Basney Imports. Could not have found a better staff to help us in our time of need. Thank you Josh, Dean, and Chad. Bless you guys and Go Irish!

The BMW had some issues after I bought it. Even though I bought it As-Is, Mark and Tom took care of me. They did nearly all the needed repairs at their cost. This is a group of great people who know cars and know how to take care of their customers. I’m not buying a car anywhere else anymore.

Lindsay Davis: I purchased a new vehicle from Motorworks in June 2021, I then referred my mother there, and she also purchased a new vehicle in March 2022 (same sales person). I am still waiting on my referral check, almost a year later. Both the sales person and the new car sales manager are aware I have not received this and have yet to make this right. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone ever again. We spent a lot of money with Gurley Leep and they can't follow through with a simple promise.

Lisa Bartlett: I recently hauled my car 3.5 hours to have GL work in it because of their value and Mission StatementsThe car was diagnosed as mechatronic in transmission.After weeks I was told it was ready to be picked up that it shifted hard.I argued that I was paying 6k to have it fixed it need to be fixed.Not once when it was diagnosed did they say it could be something else ot this needs replaced to further diagnose.After arguing for days and and them refusing to fix it without me paying another dime, I was told to pick the car up if I was not paying an additional I believe 8k.I go to get my car and they tell me the key is stuck in the transmission it needs replaced. I was NOT paying for this nor did I.But why after telling me to pick it up was nothing correct and more issues.2 days later I go to pick car up.It was it far worse shape.Transmission wasn't shifting hard it would shift and stay engaged forcing the rpms to 4500.It took me 10 minutes to get 3 blocks away.A few feet from leaving the dealership, light came on and said transmission overheating.To make matters worse, my stereo does not work now my information panel with controls, navigation, blue tooth, heat setting does not even come on and my air bag light it stuck on.I have left several voice messages with no return calls.Even texted the service person who I'd been corresponding with since day one.I have been left no choice but to contact the BBB, the ATTORNEY GENERAL AND I WILL BE FILING A CIVIL SUIT.WAY TO BACK UP YOUR VALUES AND MISSION STATEMENT.WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A FEMALE SENIOR CITIZEN.

Finally talked to the sales person and tell them what I’m interested in and they get me the keys and get my id for a test drive . Test drive was not good at all and the check engine light came on but I figured I’d see what the want to sell it price Is . Waited around another 20-30 min when another salesman is tearing apart the place looking for the key that goes to the jeep I just test drove because the people that bought it want to leave. So huge waste of time I was test driving a Jeep that was already sold . Won’t be back this was the south Bend location Elkhart seems decent besides pricing on some .
