Good Shepherd Montessori School: what do users think?
Maggie Kent: The dedication to the children and the Montessori method is what truly makes this such a wonderful school. I HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone looking for an authentic Montessori program, or more generally, a warm and loving school where your children will thrive. We have had a wonderful experience here and look forward to many more years at GSMS.
Vince Barletto: If you're looking for a true Montessori school, look no further. GSMS is top notch! Each student is personally greeted, by name, before he/she enters their class. They go to every extent possible to ensure a learning experience above all else...so much so they suggest foods that the kids bring down to what can be on their clothes. It may seem strict, but it's not -- it's entirely for the best interests of the kids. If you don't believe it, take a minute to explore the school and see the kids in their environments for yourself.
Katrina Coffman: This is an amazing school.

Michael Dunn: Great environment that allows children to have a large role in directing their own learning. A great alternative to the rigid, assembly-line, philosophy of traditional public/private schools.
Ian Wisner: Best school ever
Shalonda Miller: My daughter has attended Marquette since she was three, she loves it. The staff is excellent, and my daughter is excelling beyond our expectations. Wouldnt change a thing no complaints.

The Montessori Academy Edison Lakes: what do users think?
laila moh: Zero saftay and the doesnt watch kids as they suppose to!!!two accident for my son who is less than 5 years in only two months and they said to me "we kept say stop play with a sticks but he refused till he injured his eye!!!"...I cant beleive that they saw him doing dangourus stuff and dont force him to stop...he is less than 5 ...do kids in this age responsible for their selves?
Alisa Brock: My daughter came to TMA from a public school which was the only school she attended until the transfer. I just couldn't allow her to fall through the cracks because she was barely able to do the work by herself. Her anxiety was escalating and her love of learning was evaporating right before my eyes. I had to do something. I tried to speak with her teacher and principal. The teacher just said speak with the principal if there is an issue. I did his response was to put the blame on my child. That was the last straw! I did lots of research and scheduled to check out TMA along with a couple other private schools in the area. I was blown away on my tour. She started and not only did they help her get back on track with her core skills but she is able to read a book by herself and have critical thinking, time management with confidence in every step. She not only knows it's what she needs to get done but has the desire to do it. TMA has changed her life for the better and it is absolutely 100 percent the best choice I could make for her future. Thank you to all the amazing staff and TMA community.
Melba Zivkovic: This is the best preschool, elementary and middle school in the area. Professionals who take a keen interest in your child’s growth and development. I have seen my children blossom in a environment so carefully structured to nuture and grow your child’s independence and curiosity. The love, care and dedication provided is incomparable.
Doug Morris: Within The Montessori Academy community, my three children were enveloped with kindness, inclusiveness, and a brilliant educational philosophy...; from ages 2 to 14...; essentially their first 12 years of consciousness... I can't fathom a better culture for young people to blossom. I attribute their natural tendency to associate with altruistic, empathetic, and intelligent peers to TMA's culture of compassion, graciousness, and love of learning. Put simply, they continue to make the best of friends and as a parent, this is so comforting. Not to mention that TMA's academic prep has allowed all three to excel in both high school and college. No matter if your child is 2, 7 or 12 years of age, enroll them at TMA. The world will be a better place as a result!
Annie Geary: My daughter started in the Early Childhood class in 1998 and graduated from TMA in 2009. My husband and I could not have made a better choice for her. TMA encourages and inspires a curiosity and love of learning for their students. Montessori follows the child, celebrating the successes while giving them a safe place to fail and building their confidence through both. There is a strong sense of community, which explains why I am still involved almost ten years after my daughter graduated! Our students demonstrate compassion for others and develop an understanding of how their actions effect their community. The faculty and staff at TMA are the best, creating a true Montessori environment in their classroom that allows the students to discover who they are and what they want to be. This is #whyTMA.
Eeka Marshall: The teachers are amazing!!! If you're looking for place where the staff truly care and love your children, then Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes is the place to be. Both my girls attend TMA, and I hope that I'm able to keep them there until 8th grade.
Kathy Kolata: My children have attend The Montessori Academy since 2000. We absolutely love TMA! Individualized instruction, teachers who love teaching, and TMA’s focus on community, both local and global, make it an incredible school. My children love school and love to learn. We cannot recommend TMA enough!!
Helen Muffoletto: TMA has been my second home for over 22 years. The education my children received from toddler through 8th grade continues to influence their daily lives. As a UE teacher at the academy, I feel strongly about the Montessori method of teaching. It truly is for everyone.
Aiden Novick: I like that we can work at our own pace and that students at different levels get different assignments. My teachers are very supportive of me pursuing my own interests in my favorite subjects, math and history.
leah miars: Amazing school that focuses on children’s strengths and builds independent confident children, teens, and adults. I cannot recommend this school enough!
Nicci Hurcomb: Our son loves TMA! Would recommend to anyone!
Corey H: Excellent staff! We have been very happy with the education and care given to our son. You can tell the teachers and staff truly care.
Kiernan Cressy Anzelc: Our three children had a wonderful education here in a warm, supportive community. We especially appreciated having two teachers in the classroom. They had a strong educational foundation for high school, remember their years there fondly and still drop by once in a while to say hello to former teachers.
Susan Sakimoto: My kids went here for 9, and 13 years, respectively. They have excellent, experienced, and caring teachers that I have immense respect for. The sports program is inclusive, fun, and still competitive. I have been delighted with how they are able to challenge my kids at their different levels of advancement in different social curricular areas. I want to particularly commend the Junior High program for their rigorous academics, community service, and instruction in organizational and leadership skills that prepared my kids for advanced high school work.
Cassandra D’Angelo: I attended from ages 2 through 8th grade and it definitely has helped set me up for success. I graduated with highest honors from high school and am now in the honors college at university.
Alicia Wells: As I am navigating the process of entering my son into preschool, I have found the staff at TMA Edison Lakes to be helpful, patient and encouraging. I have never felt judged or unwelcome as I call and stop in to inquire about the process. I am so excited for my son to start his amazing educational journey at TMA.
Charlene Malott: Our daughter left this school 1.5 years ago now and is so much better off for no longer being subjected to a Montessori Program. She attended in the lower elementary for 1.5 miserable years where by the second year she came home crying daily. She suffered frequent headaches and stomachaches, exhibited signs of depression and low self esteem. She thought she was a horrible student because of her treatment at this school. The environment is distracting and chaotic with each student performing different tasks all at the same time. Our daughter was labeled with focus and attention issues and struggled to complete her work timely. When we discussed our concerns with the teacher, the recommendation we received was that she repeat a grade because she wasn't mature enough to focus on her work. Our daughter began reading at age four and was reading novels by age seven. All others who encountered her in a variety of settings commented on how intelligent and mature she was. When we transferred her to a local Catholic school mid-year, her first observation was that her new classroom was "sooooo quiet!" She told me that when the teacher said to "Sit down" and "Be quiet", the students listened and did their work. She was amazed that school could be enjoyable. A very short time after transferring out of TMA she was surprised to find herself performing extremely well in school and not having any difficulty focusing or completing her work timely. After being beat down emotionally for nearly two years, we are still working to build her confidence and self-esteem nearly two years later. Oh, and if you decide to leave the school mid-year like we did, don't expect any consideration from the administration. When we informed them of our decision to leave we were formally reminded that we had signed a contract and would be expected to pay the remaining second semester of tuition whether she attended the school or not. We shared our concerns about our daughter's physical and mental well-being and the answer we received was just short of "tough cookies". I would not recommend this school to anyone, particularly for any child who might be prone to attention issues. The school makes their program sound wonderful and advanced, but it really caused significant setbacks for our daughter. I wish I had never believed the hype and had never enrolled her.

Marquette Elementary School: what do users think?
Corey: Whoever runs across this review, maybe you can answer this question for me. I attended Marquette elementary between 1988 & 1990( I believe). I had Susan Kuester as my teacher and my name back then was Cordale McIntyre. If anyone has a picture of Mrs Kuester's class from the years I mentioned, could you respond to this and we exchange information so I can obtain this picture
Kim Marie Sells: The Montessori method of education has made a wonderful difference in my grandchildren. All the teachers and staff at Marquette Montessori Academy are caring and nurturing to each student’s individual needs. They offer Kindergarten through grade 6, as well as 3 and 4 year-old Preschool. My grandkids LOVE their teachers and this school!
Jamie Porter: No complaints. The teachers are great, staff is great. My daughter loves this school. So lucky to have found it!
