Truck Driver Institute: what do users think?
Dalton B: Very fair testers, great over all experience testing.
Colin Rickard: I wouldn't recommend coming to the south bend indiana school . They have no one on the range really helping the students my Class had to help each other out and the director was cocky when you're trying to learn to drive and Darius oh my God! Don't know how he can still be their teaching when 90%he's all ways unprofessional and rude/cocky to his students I highly recommend staying far way and go somewhere else to get the proper training you need
Travis Bays: Was ok. Kevin, Matt, and Rodney were great instructors. The range sucks. Covered in potholes. Hard to maneuver if you’re not familiar with driving. Lee doesn’t listen and will say you didn’t say/do things that you did in fact do. Then he’ll say that’s his “teaching practices” is saying you didn’t say or do something you did. But he’ll still mark you off on your finals for it. Not that it really matters. They teach you to pass a test. That’s about it. You won’t learn coupling trailers nor 90 degree backing. Which will be 99% of your day to day job. Overall had fun, and the complaints I have were out of the instructors control. They can’t purchase better equipment nor can they make the lot any better. The owner or whoever tries to “grade” the lot but doesn’t know what he’s doing. So he just makes deeper and taller holes. The cones and ropes are all messed up and misaligned. They’re short staffed. So; if you have experience plan to do some teaching. My biggest complaint is the truck you test in as a manual driver you can’t drive til the last 2 days. Which is really annoying but, whatever I guess. I recommend going to Ivy Tech or other schools with nicer lots to drive in.Kristina, Joe, and Seles (not sure how to spell) went out of their way and bent over backwards when I needed it. They are great people and will do whatever you need to help you on your journey. As I said before, the complaints I have were out of these individuals control.
Kavita Patel: I wish I could give this place 0 reviews. This place is so, corrupted starting from the recruiter's, office staff, the owner, to the instructors. I wish I could also mention names. I have not seeing such a corrupted school like this. Discrimination is at its best. I had so many problems with this company, that, I had to get a lawyer to open up all the issues. And, so many students complain throughout the school. Their truck condition are also not up-to-date. One of the trucks has a lawn chair on the passenger side.
James Liggins: School is poorly operated and you only get mediocre training. Staff is rude with a smile! Training vehicles and range are extremely poor and out dated. The recruiters are pupets and full of lies. Definitely better schools with a higher quality training!Stay away!
aaron thompsomn: Dave the tester at tdi was very awesome and understanding and will work with you I highly recommend this place and he will show you what you done wrong and how to fix the situation
Richard: It’s a good school and they wanna see you succeed ,but they definitely need more instructors on the range there’re severely understaffed, so your best bet is to listen to the instructors when you get the one on one time and don’t expect to be babied here It’s a very Straightforward program,if you pay attention and stay motivated you’ll pass your CDL test
King Deft: Just graduated with a high score! I want to thank the staff and students that helped me along this journey. A special shout out to Darius and John for the extra care they showed me when I needed it. The school definitely gave me valuable information. Priceless. I hope everyone who attends this institution has the same experience I did. Thank you again.Cordially RichieGraduate 12/30/21
John Schmidt: I’m a recent graduate of TDI South Bend Indiana, and I’ll say I had a great experience there.I’ve already been hired by a reputable national carrier and I couldn’t be happier.I’d like to personally thank the classroom and driving instructors John, Dan, Darius, Mike and Pete. They gave me the knowledge and tools to pass the state pre trip and driving test no problem.Recruiter Mike, and all the front office staff were 💯 %Great as well. So, in closing, I highly recommend this school, and I’m grateful to everyone there.John Schmidt.
John Quill Jr: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI’m in week three of school it’s been amazing great instructors met allot of cool people among the last 2 weeks definitely recommend
David Shore: Took my CDL skills test and road test. Yhe examiner, Dave, was upfront about what was expected
Us and Them: The instructors at TDI are amazing. They all know what they are doing and are amazing teachers. Curt makes backing really simple and easy for anyone to understand. They not only teach you things you need to know for the DOT test, but they also teach you skills that you’ll use out on the road. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get their CDL
Gayle VanDeventer: I only went for the CDL driving test. That building is separate from the main training building. My rating is only for the testing building, it needs some lipstick! :-)
OnTheRiseWith CandyceEvette: Great school just wasn't the trade for me.
Ray MacLean: The instructors are all so knowledgeable and always ready to help. They set you up for success every step of the way.
Jeff Mvalo: I recently graduated from TDI (09/14/2020) Chris and his staff of trainers -- Curt, Ryan, Ron, and Dan are the best in the industry. These guys genuinely want you to pass your exams and want you to go out there and start making your money. I was happy to leave and sad at the same time as I had become close to the staffThank you for all the training and knowledge guys.-Jeff
jTwitch mvalo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Gwendolyn Williams: Great business meeting!
Jamie Wesseler: Chris and his staff of trainers -- Curt, Ryan, Ron, and Dan -- have to be the best in the industry: professional, patient, caring, dedicated, and fun-loving. I am so fortunate to have had their guidance/leadership to help me acquire my CDL. You will not find a better CDL school. To the prospective student: Listen to the instructors at every instruction; do not waiver from their directions. You will be wasting your time to "do as you feel it should be done." Do as they say and you WILL acquire your CDL. Everything is on campus -- the DOT physical, trucks, driver qualification testing. It is the complete, incredible package deal... beginning with, in my experience, Celeste and Cristina in the front office and recruiting. A better option for CDL training does not exist. Thanks to all of you at TDI South Bend for your work and dedication to me... and, most importantly, your friendship.
Alida P: The best thing I ever did was get my CDL at TDI, all of the instructors are kind and awesome at their job and make you feel comfortable, They understand that your new to this and walk you through it step by step it was a great experience. Im thankful for TDI and All of the instructors.
Monzella Smith: TDI was the best choice I could have made for getting the training I needed for my CDL class A license. I trained with a trucking company many years ago, and the training was good. But with TDI, they were not only thorough; they were patient, understanding, did whatever it took to get us trained, and they were caring and fun to train with! I highly recommend training with TDI South Bend, IN. I also love the fact that after training, you're a free agent and go anywhere you like! You're not stuck in a contract with any one trucking company. It was worth every dime.

Fricks Driving School: what do users think?
Nicholas Furnari: Everyone I spoke to in town recommended Frick's. I'm an "adult learner" coming from a big city where most people don't drive. Frick's explained their courses and I think they'll make sure I can safely pass my driver's test in the spring.
S R: The man at the desk needs to get his attitude fixed as soon as possible
Lily Versmesse: Positive:Quality
Helal Mohammed Khan: They seem to be very good at what they do, and the instructors are very sincere in engaging with the trainees! Thanks to everyone at Fricks!
Arely Galeano: I would like to enroll in school but I don't know how to speak much English, I only speak Spanish
Susan Wroblewski: My kids had a experience here.... Good job Fricks....I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for professional training.
Beth Garatoni: Fricks has taught 3 of my children how to drive, and I am signing up the 4th this week. We all had a wonderful experience!! Thank you to the teachers and staff!!
Andrew Helms (BlackBacon): I learned to drive here and have been accident free since I learned to drive 13 years ago. They must've done something right.
Gabby Warth: I liked Fricks...then after 1 week I couldn't wait til I could get out of there. The receptionist is extremely rude. She failed to give me very important information and when I called back after being chewed out by the teacher for not having the info she preceded to tell me that she gave it to me and it was my fault! The teacher can be generally nice but cranky sometimes. Scheduling driving time over the phone is a nightmare, mainly because you're dealing with a rude receptionist who has you on hold for 10 minutes.

Driv Rite Driving School: what do users think?
Samuel DaSilva: I would not recommend Drive rite to anyone. The service was just awful, and scummy too. I paided for 4 hours of “driving” yet we didn’t even drive. The safety instruction videos were all out dated and lacked any clarity. (I learned more through my parents than this place) He was also extremely rude and aggressive towards me. Absolutely terrible service.
aziza ali: I had the best experience with driverite! I learned so much and fixed a lot of the mistakes I had before. I highly recommend… it was definitely worth the money! Looking at the reviews one might hesitate, but I could definitely say everyone has their own experiences and people shouldn’t judge before trying something! Overall I am very thankful for their professionalism and pleased with how things turned out!P.S. shoutout to my teacher.. he was the best!! Thank you 🙏🏽
King Bridges: Critical:QualityHe told me if i don’t like the way he teach me how to park I can go to the dmv to get my license that way he said I had an attitude cus I told him I do it a different way I would not go here go to fricks I should of done that he don’t even teach nothing he tell you directions last minute
Autumn Michelle: Classroom teacher was awful and rude during whole course. Worst driver's ed in the area.
Jennifer Reinoehl: One son paid the money to go here for Driver's Ed, the other didn't. The son that did not go here has already been in two minor accidents. Definitely think it was worth the money. Instructors are old school, but cost is lower than most.
kaleb craft: I wouldn’t recommend this driving school to anyone! I feel like he was very rude and unprofessional‼️ I am a student that just passed his class last week and anytime that I accidentally messed up he would continue to raise his voice, he was always late to each driving lesson, he never really tried to teach me anything. When I went to parallel park he would yell at me and always made me nervous, so I didn’t do my best because it is very hard for me to do something if your going to make me nervous! One day I was so mad that he was always late and the driving lesson felt as if they weren’t even a hour so I timed it one day as soon as I got in the car and it was like 50 some minutes long‼️ I did this so I could get my license sooner and learn a thing or too on how to drive safer but it was a big waste of money and time💯
Meg Bronke: Highly don’t recommend. I was a student here a few years ago and the teacher/owner is extremely rude and unfriendly! When doing drive time with other students, when someone made even the slightest mistake he would choose to raise his voice at you and make rude comments and not even teach you what to do next time. I feel like I got nothing from this class and feel it’s a total waste of time and money.
H H: Unhelpful and very unfriendly teacher. Your child will learn nothing here that could not be learned by studying practice tests instead of watching VHS tapes from the 80s. If your only goal is to get your kid their license early, give your money to someone who cares. This is the scammiest, shabbiest “driving school” in town.

Premier Driving Institute Inc: what do users think?
Julie Blessing: Their area map shows they service our area. However, upon trying to get services started, they say they don't service this area. Probably something that needs to be made more clear on the website.
Nicole Read: We really did not want our daughter to take the online course, however, this was presented as pretty much the only option for her. After completing the course we have been down several times for her permit test and after each test she tells us questions that were not covered within the course. We have studied alongside her and have seen that the questions presented are incorrect from the course to the actual test. This may have been different in a class setting but would not recommend the online course.
Carey Koehler: Fantastic experience! Thank you Premier!
DeAnna Williams: Great classroom and driving instructors. My daughter has high anxiety and struggles to do courses online. She had a very pleasant experience in the classroom. She just loved her instructor! She waited over a year to take her driving lessons and ended up struggling to get them done before her permit expired. Betty worked tirelessly, going above and beyond to ensure my daughter could get her license. This woman was amazing! She was polite and shared in my frustrations. Highly recommend this driving school. One of the best experiences I have had with a private company.
Ryan Yazel: We had a solid experience with the online course and with the individual in-car trainers. However, we paid for 6 1 hour courses and have been able to get exactly 3 in this whole summer because: 1- they barely make any slots available, 2- they don't tell you when they're going to release schedule slots other than a general "some time Thursday afternoon", so you spend your entire Thursday afternoon refreshing your browser every 5 minutes to see when they open the slots or you check and see the limited slots are all filled already.Good luck scheduling the drivers lessons you pay for.But if you miraculously get one scheduled, the instructors are great.
Vanessa Frias: Rude and terrible customer service
Lace: Kent is such an amazing driving instructor and gives really good advice! i’m sure there’s other amazing driving instructors there as well!
Elisa: I am an adult that until recently had very minimul driving experience. I was very nervous about taking my driving exam at the BMV so I called Premier Driving. After completing my online lessons I started my in-car lessons. I had three different instructors and they were all very well prepared and easy-going which calmed my driving anxiety. I had most of my lessons with Dave and will miss our morning drives. Thank you Dave! Thanks to Premier Driving I have started my driving career on a strong and confidence boosting foundation.
Randy Jones: I need my Driver's License and I'm 54 yrs old. Can someone help me to get my Driver's License so that I will be very Valuable for my Job? Thank you!
Amy Gallo: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI've had two sons go through Premier Driving and we have been very happy. The online courses make taking the lessons convenient, the in car teachers have all been top notch, and the customer service is exemplary! Thank you Premier for getting our boys on the road.
Krista Gill: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat place love sending my kiddos here. I wish they would have farther out schedules for driving is all.
Debbie Harbaugh: Critical:CommunicationReally should teach your drivers to do the speed limit on US20. 40 in a 55 is not a smart idea.
Heather Schoenherr: Our experience has been great. The instructor has been very punctual and has given good constructive feedback.
Jenifer Fisher: Our instructors were always on time and available whenever we tried to schedule. The feedback was positive and helpful. They also did a great job keeping the classroom phase interesting as well! Both of my sons have attended Premier and enjoyed all of their in car and classroom instructors and I will be sending my third son there as well in a year! Thanks!
Cameron Wolf: This place is really good at instruction drivers ed. Would recommend to go here if you need to get instructed for a driver's license. Lit dog is cool.
Abhi Rao 2: Really nice Teachers
Crystal Crawford: Beyond satisfied with this business! Not only was it worth the money I spent, but I’ll be sending my daughter through Premier driving Institute as well because I am so pleased with their service!!!
L. Jay Miller: Poorly organized.
Haley L: Amazing drivers-ed school! Teachers are wonderful and full of humor and smiles each day for all the students 💕
Tammy Wilcox: Premier Driving Institute far exceeded my expectations! The instructors were wonderful. Punctual and communicated if they were running behind. I felt complete trust as the mother of a new driver.
Ashley Robertson: I was impressed that when there was an issue that the owner called me immediately to resolve the issue and apologized for things that weren’t even his fault.
