Guitar Center: what do users think?
Ray Bae: Wonderful experience here at Guitar Center South Bend. I brought my guitar in and Nolan and Ryq were both warm in welcoming me and helping out for a good while. Nolan went above and beyond in helping find the right amp, and he's definitely one of the nicest and attentive retail guys I've ever met. I was quite indecisive, but he was there every step of the way in making sure I'd find the right sound. Any manager would be lucky to have him around. Ryq was also attentive and answered every question with great personal input, even bringing a pedal around. They both made Guitar Center feel like a mom and pop shop's service, and that's a golden sign to make a visit! Thank you guys so much :)
Jeff Komp: Have not had a bad experience at this store. Salespeople are friendly, knowledgeable & don’t try to up sell you. Steve the setup tech is a absolute pro. Instructors are excellent.
Jackie Crabtree: I dropped my husband guitar, that guy did beautiful work. When I came to pick it up they were not sure where it was, an no bill. I found it hanging on the wall like it was for sale with a tag on it. When ask about things about the guitar he was not very nice. I Will still come here since this is the only one around. The guy that I gave him the guitar with a note my husband game me. He does excellent work.
Zealla Flores: I'm hoping to get two bass guitars working. Appears to have affordable repair service. Can't wait til the pick up day so I can jam with my dad again.
Gabriel Hernandez Produccions: Great place to buy instruments
L Carey: They are so helpful, and do not pressure you to buy anything. It's a wonderful experience, as you can try out the guitars, and keyboards. It is a highly professional Guitar Center. I am always pleased with the top quality too.
Susan Ward: My husband was able to drop off his guitar to be re-strung and we got it back in a hurry thanks to the knowledgable staff.
Doug Farmwald: Very helpful in choosing my son's new guitar. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of each instrument and thoughtfully answered all our questions. While I am not a musician, all my kids are and I expect we'll be back again.
Annette Durbin: Good people work there ,an I've bought all my guitars there with no problems. I will continue to be there customer.
Michelle Whickcar: Great staff, they repaired my husband's guitar in plenty of time to surprise him on Christmas.
Clayton Hale: It's been a while since I've been there, but used to come here all the time. Could never decide between bass or drums. Always had a great selection.
dean gallam: Nice selection of guitars and accessories
C D: Love this place prices are good and there online services actually work. Ie. I bought an Amp they had it in stock then when I arrived it was ready
Michael Bowden: C'mon! It's the guitar center!! What's not to like!
Tesla Garmong: Awesome place
Shane Camp (Shane): I am currently taking guitar lessons here with their guitar teach Jerome. I like the place. The staff is very nice .
R.a. Wheeler: Always helpful, always got great instruments.. and decent prices.
Kevin OReilly: Love this place, they have what no one else has
Theresa E: Very helpful staff and great inventory
Regina Hodges: This review is specifically with the way the lessons are being managed/handled. My son started lessons the end of July. The person in charge of coordinating lessons knew from the start that my son wanted to focus on thrash metal and the coordinator knew we could only have lessons on one day due to my work schedule. At first, I wanted to do online lessons since I live a good distance away and we were only interested in 30 minute lessons. I was talked into doing in person. Since the end of July my son has had four different instructors and multiple cancellations. I get it, life gets hectic and stuff happens, but rather than waiting for me to call back, lessons kept getting changed WITHOUT my consent to a different day. After explaining to the coordinator early on that I was unhappy with all of this and did not want to be charged for more lessons, he said he would put “a hold” on my card and we could discuss what my concerns. Discussion never happened and my card was charged for more lessons. When I brought this up, his excuse was that the system had changed and it’s possible there was some sort of glitch and unfortunately lessons are non refundable.I received a voicemail on Tuesday from the coordinator stating that that the current instructor he was assigned (has had two lessons with my son) to did not feel that metal was his strength and did not want to continue lessons. Not to mention, that’s what the last instructor said as well. I get that, but the coordinator KNEW from the very beginning that this was what my son wanted. The coordinator told me he would get back to me to see if another instructor would be willing to do online lessons. Mind you, this call was on Tuesday, it has been five days and I have not heard a single thing.I feel like my card is being held hostage and I am being given the run around. When I stated AGAIN that I was unhappy with the inconsistencies of the lessons, the coordinator had the audacity to tell me that they had indeed been consistent. I’m sorry but four DIFFERENT instructors and at least four CANCELLATIONS since the end of July is far from consistent.I have tried to be so patient and understanding but the way the coordinator is handling this is 100% unacceptable. If there is no one able to teach my son I get that, but stop trying to hold my card hostage for more lessons. Stop making instructors that don’t feel like metal is their strength teach my son. It’s simple to say that “there is no one available to teach your son what the type of music he wants to learn on the specific day you want” and leave it at that. My advice to anyone wanting to do lessons is stick to private lessons with a single person or small businesses that are more concerned with a customer’s satisfaction.
Eliezer Roque Cisneros: I've had nothing but a positive experience at the guitar Center here I've been to several guitar centers in my lifetime and the staff here (as of 2022) are helpful kind and patient.I've bought new and used gear, it's been good.

G & A Music L.L.C.: what do users think?
Katie Peck: SHOP LOCALLY! You won’t regret it!
Bill Stout: Awesome staff and attention to detail. Still as great as always.
Dakota Lewallen: Came in as a newer guitarist looking to upgrade from a cheapo amazon guitar to something more legit. Staff were super friendly, wide selection of new and used products. 10/10 experience. Good vibes all around. Shining examples of why you should shop local.
Blair Anderson: I have now done business with these guys for over a year now. Always polite and friendly when I stop in. Very knowledgeable and a great selection of new and used items. Recently got a very nice telecaster and amp from them and couldn't be happier with them!
Jake .C: Edit: I was pretty rude on my first review. But I'll just say they couldn't help me. But they have nice gear.
Louisiana Buckhanan: Friendly, reasonably priced and happy to help.
Ross Shelton: The best music store around!!!
Eric Osler: G&A has a great selection of new and used gear. They sell everything from entry level guitars up to high end custom shop instruments, and have a nice selection of new and gently used amps. They consign or buy used gear, and also offer repair work for most amps, guitars, basses...etc. The staff is super polite and knowledgeable, and are ready to make deals to help people get the most bang for their buck. They genuinely want to get you the right gear at the right price, not gouge or over-sell.
James Schaefer: Friendly and very knowledgeable service
Scott Smith: I am new to the world of guitars and had so many questions to ask. The staff at G&A Music are very helpful and friendly answered all my questions I had. I was impressed with the knowledge and the quality of the inventory that they have that I actually bought a guitar and a gig bag . I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for anything musical.
Tom Zipser: Andy is a great shop owner. I was actually surprised at the amount of selection for bass guitars. I think everyone should support local business. I ended up buying a beautiful fender jazz Bass, and I got to pet Eddie.
Andrew Allison: Stopped into the store one evening just to poke around, and to check out a used amp that I had seen on their website. I was quickly greeted and told them why I stopped by. They demoed the amp for me, which really ended up being too much for my house (volume wise)! But also let me know about some others they had there for sale that weren't on the site. They ended up showing me an amp I had been researching a little bit, so that was a pleasant surprise. It was priced very well, and in terrific condition so I called my wife to ask her her thoughts, and after she gave me the a-okay I decided I was gonna go ahead and get it. There was absolutely zero pressure which was nice. The gentleman helping me, I can't remember his name. But he was super helpful about making sure that I got everything that they had with the amp (cover, owners manual, even original box). They even offered to take it out to the car for me. Overall I was just super satisfied with the whole experience. Great local guitar store. I would say, if you are on their site and looking up their inventory and aren't seeing what you're after. I would recommend going in to the store because they are constantly getting new stuff, there may be some product that they have in store that they don't have on the site. Thanks again!!
Vincent Gatto: Shop local! Excellent customer service.
Charles Dwyer: Knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. They made me a really good deal on a new T type guitar, amp, chord, strap, picks and strings. The amp is unbelievably loud and the guitar plays as good as it looks. The fit and finish is as good as guitars costing 3 times as much. Thanks, Charles O Dwyer.
Michael May: G&A is the best spot in the area for guitarists. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and Alex is my go-to guitar tech.
Jeremy Longley: Went in recently to find my first 'lectric guitar with a pretty clear idea of what I thought I wanted. Alex is extremely knowledgeable & expert at explaining/demonstrating tones-very thoughtful in a good way! With his help I ended up leaving with the best guitar I could possibly afford and I couldn't be happier!! I'll nevereverever go anywhere but G&A Music.
cookworm6: Exceptional customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Personal attention given to each customer with honest advice and no pressure. Nice selection of merchandise. As a beginner, I especially appreciate their kindness (and patience!) while I ask all my questions. Our daughter bought her first electric guitar here and it was an awesome experience all around, in every way. Great local business!
Jim Englebrecht II: Awesome store! They fixed my 5150 combo! Great prices great service!
Bruh Cracker: Great experience
Thomas Hiler: That place is so awesome the people were very helpful and knowledgeable i will definitely go there for my audio needs
Melody Pinela: Excellent customer service!!

Quinlan & Fabish Music Company: what do users think?
Kortney Dibert: My daughter’s violin was caught in the crossfire of her two year old sister and we needed a replacement the next day for her lesson. I called at 5:30 (right before they close) and asked for a replacement as soon as possible because she had her lesson the next day. When I arrived the following morning, the violin was ready for pick up and it was a seamless exchange! What a relief! Paying for the insurance is a no brainer but the great customer service is definitely an added bonus. Thank you!
liz J: Awesome music store check them out
Caninx: Ok
Lorenzo Rivera: Friendly staff and helpful they know what they are doing.
Walter Barrera: Great place
Cheryl Roberson: Nice customer service but really high prices
Tonya Roman: Emily was fantastic!
destoni vaughn: Elizabeth answered all of my questions and provided excellent customer service, I will be returning
cathysouthwestern: Today my partner bought a cello for me for my birthday! Elisabeth was the perfect person to help guide us through picking the cello and the perfect bow and case for me. She went the extra mile and made sure we had everything needed to get started, even recommended music. What a great experience!
Candice C: The best music store!
ifrinnsiol: This shop has repair services and sales for orchestral instruments (violins, cello, etc.). The people working there are helpful and friendly. They were knowledgeable about what I was looking for and got me the violin I wanted. I will be coming back here as needs arise.
Wingrider 68: Nice store and nice people!
Jennifer Ward: We need to think about students not money , Elkhart school should feel bad for pushing every student and parent to them , there are other options , I do not agree with their school policies or this company by far
*: I took my violin to Quinlan and Fabish for some strings. They put the strings on to tight, breaking the neck of my violin. Instead of shifting the blame onto me and making me pay for the repairs, they insisted it was their fault and that they would repair the violin at no cost. They were friendly, and above all else trustworthy and honest. It takes a genuinely good company to admit they are wrong and fix their mistakes. They fixed the violin promptly, and in good fashion. I am very, very grateful.
Jamie Amador: After finding some antique instruments in our home, I searched for a place that was able to restore them to working condition. Quinlan and Fabish is such a place. They not only sell and rent instruments of all types, they also maintain and repair them. A nice bonus is they are right in my town. I now have 2 playable violins, a full and a half size. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Todd Taylor: Wants name, address, phone to use a debit card so they can flood your Mailbox with unwanted junk mail. Ordered from Amazon.
Sarah B!: Was not impressed with what I found, although they did have a lot to choose from. Good place to look for classical or modern music.
Tonya Miles: Helpful, pleasant, professional.
Heather Misiukiewicz: Nice helpful place . They sell many different kinds of instruments and subsequent accessories or necessities. They have a lot if sheet music and also offer lessons.
HEIDEN CONCRETE: Music instrument sales and rental business. Super expensive to rent brass instruments for students band class.
Derek Watson: A very clean show room with a helpful staff.

Jeff Powers: Great selection of used vinyl
Dash Jeffreys: Knowledgeable folks that run the store.Always changing stock.
Mary Pettijohn: Great store, lots of selection and good prices.
Joseph Lane: Very friendly and helpful. Found exactly what I was looking for that I couldn't anywhere else!
Corbin C: A great place to hunt for Pokémon cards, and a wide selection of music discs. Nice people behind the counter as well.
Raimie Wheeler: The record store experience, plus DVD, CD, and video games.
Judas Cooper: Drove from another record store whose Google hours say open Tues. Disappointing that 2/2 record stores I drove to come shop at did not have accurate hours.
Marcus Yeagley: Chris is an awesome guy, the store has a great selection of everything. The staff is extremely helpful and polite, they treat you like more than a customer. There isn't a better place to go for all your media wants and needs. The prices are good as either a buyer or seller. It's the kind of place that you enjoy going to and are always glad you went, always a great selection and has an ever changing inventory.
Darcy Hegstad (HomunHeart): My first experience was so good, I had to come back again the next day! Everyone was very helpful, honest, fair and fun! I highly recommend this place for gaming, music, movies and tcg collectors. Never know what treasure you'll find next!
Dulce BG: Amazing place!
Andrew Weidman: By far the best used media store around. Their products are always in great condition, and if you are looking to sell, they will give you the best prices around.
The Atomic Boneyard: Ignored, then the older gentleman asked his son to make sure the game case I was looking at was locked so I didn't steal anything.Just offensive people that have no business earning anyone's money. They literally stared at me until I left.I was going to buy the one game in their case priced well, but not after that. It was a joke, and an offensive one at that. So, my lady and I kept our money, and wandered off somewhere else to spend it. Third time there, third time completely ignored, but first time pegged as a thief. Please shop elswhere.
CLOWNLOVE BRETT: Great place to shop they have great movies an movies Pokémon card an games an the best place in the world for record store day anytime the manger goes above and beyond the call of duty for their customers.
Holli Jackson: Absolutely do not recommend.. This man sold us a game for playstation. We brought the game home and tried it immediately and the game did not work. It would not load just kept beeping at us. My husband took the game back to return it and the owner would not give us a refund. We told him it didn't work that we weren't just trying to return something because we didn't like it. He said he understands it doesn't work but won't give us refund. My husband asked for him to buff it out which he states that the issue we were having it sounds like the game isn't fixable.. So now he admits to selling us something that was broken but still won't refund. Save your money and go somewhere that stands by what they sell! Disc replyor game stop.. Seriously anywhere but here. This is pathetic and will not return or recommend this place to anyone.
Amir Bayatkandi: Very nice guy with lots of good memorabilia. If you want to talk to him, he is all ears.5 🌟
Bianca Sizemore: Came here quite a few times and talked with multiple workers about possible trades. Was told a trade was definitely possible as we would have been giving them something of more value. Was told to come back when one of the other owners was in to make sure they were okay with it. Came back multiple times waiting for both of them to be there at the same time and then they acted like they knew nothing about the trade and said what we wanted to trade was not valuable. Anyways, seems like only one person can give the okay with higher sales and trades. And even then they didn’t seem to be knowledgeable with items they were selling and trading.
Rayne Ruin: Little disappointed went in for pokemon cards, came out with repackaged junk. The man working there was nice enough but looked me straight in the eye and lied to me. Such a shame to get scammed Hopefully I can help stop someone else getting ripped off. I should of looked more closely at the packs but I was excited to find cards. So unfortunate.
Nick Talcott: I enjoy browsing this store and purchasing from this store but never sell your stuff here. You will be ripped off so bad
Terrell Davis: Good management and great attitudes will always win.
Brandon Simmons: Good deals on dvds blurays and music. Some games are a little pricy but in this day and age they have a pretty good variety of games that can be hard to find, so that helps make sense of the prices. They are great people persons, always welcoming, have met the dad and son, so its nice to know its family owned. SHOLO

Orbit Music: what do users think?
Trish Sinkhorn: They were very helpful and pleasant to me.
ifrinnsiol: They have used records, CDs, and tapes for sale. I wish they were bigger like in the old days.
Brad Urban: One of my favorite record stores of all time. Discovered many bands through their used CD and album bins.
Terry Gennicks: It's OK, and quickly becoming a favorite
Scott Swinehart: Love this place. Sell to them and brows for used CD's. I also buy some incense here.
Dan Keiling: Love this music store! Manager is always helpful and is a great guy! Used vinyl selection is amazing! Fair prices on records in near mint condition! Lots of new LPs as well
JP Dolan: Pretty good, I usually don't have my best hauls here but I find some great surprising stuff here. If you like looking around these kind of stores like I do you might dig it.
Nick Dubya: Always has great nostalgia media at a great price.
Carson Wirtz: I'm happily a regular at Orbit Music. The store is very true to itself, with plenty to offer in terms of CDs, vinyl records, cassette tapes, VHS, DVDs, and other cool finds. I've also had plenty extremely pleasant conversations with the very sociable staff.
Anne Fisette: I was selling records...they got slightly damp the night before, the guy was lind enough to go through them with me but prewarned me he wasnt buying due to the damp pieces....nice enough, but kind of wasted my time.
John Hamilton: Great place for cds and record's
Jimi Swartz: After being gone from the area for five years, I have started collecting vinyl again. I was excited to visit my old record store. I walked in with my son, only to be greeted with a long awkward stare from the man behind the counter. He glared at us all the down the length of the store. You would think an independent record store would welcome patrons who would support their business. Unfortunately, the experience was less than welcoming. I love music and records, but I can’t support rude service. Fortunately, there are other options for buying music these days.
Mark Valentin: Good selection of Lp's. Movies
Matthew P: They have me a free incense !!!!!!! Tis the season
Hannah McKenzie: This is a really cool store.
Michael Donnelly: Called and asked about selling some vintage vinyl and told to just pop in during business hours. I loaded it all up and headed in about an hour later (about 2, right in the middle of their business hours) and it was closed. Loaded up the next day and drove over and upon arrival was informed that they would only offer store credit. Why would you not disclose that when I called and inquired about their interest? Worse still, a few of my pristine vintage album covers were water damaged on the second day because it was pouring rain. Incredibly unprofessional operation. Don't give them your business.
Dakota Carey: Pretty weak selection of new vinyl. Had more of a head shop vibe that happens to sell music. Felt more like a swap shop than a music store.
Angela Schoenhofer: Great selection of vinyl!
Jim Shepherd: Love going here and looking thru records! Never know what awesome treasure your going to find!
Brantley Hero: Amazing array of vinyls, cds, cassettes, movies, and so much more!
John Damron: A nice little shop that has a really good selection of music, and if they dont have what you want you can special order it to the store. Easily will go there again.
