Owner is actually very nice. Cons-I got a fungus under one of my nails with dip. That hasn’t happened to me in over 10 years. And when it happened before it was with acrylic. She left my fingers(not nails) stained with black dip around my fingers and cuticles. When I asked her if she could clean it up she told me it would just come off. It didn’t. I had to get strong nail polish remover and use rubbing alcohol at home to get it off. I like my manicures to be detail oriented. This just didn’t cut it.Service:Dip powder

My problem is why have a big sign on the glass window stating “Walk ins are welcome” but when a walk in comes in they turn them down. Robert McMillan: In the past, I had good experiences. Today is a different story. When I walked in I wasn't greeted so I just sat down. I did not have an appointment, so I sat down. To be fair, there were 4 people ahead of me. Normally, an attendant would give me an estimate as to the wait time. Not today. After waiting about an hour, there didn't seem to be an end in sight. When I asked about how long it would be the answer was "you're next" I knew that much, and I mentioned that it would have been nice to have had an estimate when I walked in. She seemed like she wanted to argue. I know that if LV would have been there the experience would have been different. Very disappointed! Probably will find another salon.

jazzi b: The place looks nice BUT…..They drown you out with a loud tv showing continuous news. They always try to up sell you rather than satisfying your needs. A nail tech here, tried to force me into getting gel and no chip nail polish. I said no because I prefer polish. She then starts telling me that the way I want my nails are “not trendy”. Long story short, they convince you to get your nails “trendy” so that you end up paying top dollar and leaving the shop faster because getting no chip will get you out of there in 45 minutes. There are very nice Caucasian American and African America Spas nearby that will respect you! This is a fast money Scam! Go where you are appreciated and can enjoy your pampering experience; and not get pushed out of the door.

Which means we ended up being at the salon a total of almost 5 to 6 hours. Anywho, My nail polish was off, my rhinestones were crooked. She gently cleaned up my natural nails and then delivered the best dip powder manicure I have ever had! No bumps or thick spots at all, she gave me the perfect, slender almond shape I requested and all my nails are uniform. I am so thankful to have found this salon and have already booked my next appointment! Beautiful, expert work!

Some people I know find out the hard way that nail technicians easily infect you with staph infections, fungi, herpes and more by being careless, reckless and even just plain mean.Salons “stretch” the base coat fluid with FORMALDEHYDE which is very cheap and very toxic. It damages the nails, making them brittle, so they chip, breath and even split. When your fingertips turn yellow, you’re headed toward fungal growth, doctor visits, pharmacy and medical bills. I am shocked to learn that you can watch them closely and wrongly believe they’re practicing safe handling procedures but you’ll be quite wrong, and very much in for a hospital stay. “TRAGIC NAILS” should be the name.
