marge frost: I have called the Tribune twice this week and both times I have spoken to someone that said the Tribune sends all their calls to a location in the Phillipines. And that no one will answer our problems at the South Bend office. We have received 2 papers in the past week and they came 2 together. I was told it was our carrier's fault. Guess I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. And I may just have to go visit the Tribune office. I know it is only a paper, but I payed for a years subscription and I want my paper delivered. I cannot even read it online.. I will be contacting USA Today also..
Patrick McManus: Two papers received on the same day in the last twelve days. Called daily since 1-2-22 to report issue. Spoke to a real person once which resulted in the two paper next day delivery. Otherwise just receive voice mail about delays beyond their control and promise of delivery later that day. No papers delivered later as promised. I believe in supporting a local newspaper but this whole situation is beyond belief.
Pat Gnivecki: Awful delivery service... 2 weeks in a row no Sunday paper, niw even weekday paper not delivered.. can't talk to anyone in the delivery department... but my delivery person was still able to put a card with his address in it for a Christmas bonus from me in a paper that was delivered a day late... paid for the paper and I don't even get it deluvered!!! Terrible service... awful!!!
Tiffani Felder: Called to get a reprint of the paper. Left a message and the office lady returned my call asap with the paper I needed ready for me to pickup already! She was so nice and it was much appreciated. Most people wouldn't put much effort into what I was asking for so her small gesture if readiness is defined appreciate.

NEVER received a Saturday paper ever, and everytime I called to get it sorted out nobody was any help. I ended up cancelling because it was worthless. I gave them 4 months worth of chances to get it right, If I could give 0 stars I definitely would.

XxMrs.MaliciousxX: Love the ladies at the pop shop!! So freaking nice!! They have a lot of varieties of loose tobacco and tubes. Recently just got some new cool smoking pipes/accessories and vapes. They have a huge selection of specialty sodas. Have a small selection of munchies/candy. They do carry milk. Check the first fridge when you wall in the door to the right. If milk is going to expire soon,they will have gallons for $1 sometimes. Milk is good after the sell by date as long as it's stays cold and doesn't smell bad.

S E: This used to be the go to paper, not anymore. This new delivery system stinks. Having the paper delivered by the mail carrier is awful. Papers do not come until the afternoon now. No longer get a Sunday paper instead you get a combined Saturday and Sunday paper. What a joke. And when there is a holiday you don't get a paper for two or three days. Just what I wanted, to read Saturdays breaking news on a Tuesday. And if you go online you can only read a few articles until you have to pay to look at it. And the online Truth is no bargain. We have cancelled the paper and no longer get it. I know several other people who no longer take the Truth anymore. And more than half the time it is a waste of paper. It used to be thick and full of articles, now you are lucky if it is more than 8 to 10 pages total.They wonder why people everywhere are no longer getting newspapers like they used to, well it could be because of changes like this. I don't know why anyone would continue to take this paper, there is more news in The South Bend Tribune about Elkhart than there is in The Elkhart Truth, and the Tribune still has carriers that deliver the paper to your house everyday, even holidays in the morning.
Thomas Davis: Morning news paper delivered just before noon and changing to USPS for delivery will make it later maybe next day if late from presses in different state. Will probably drop when go south for winter and not renew.

Now I don't read the Truth online nor what their advertisers offer because I choose not to pay $207 per year for their subscription. I get my online news from many other sources... much more cost effective.

I prefer self check out just because their attitude is TERRIBLE.The other day the cashier was really rude and ignored when I would speak to her. She even tried to overcharge me on lettuce.Seriously I love Kroger, their deals are awesome. I'll just stick with self check out from now on.I will admit they treat you how they see you. When I go in all dressed up they're nice, but if I go while doing chores or my hairs up in a bun and no make up they are always so flippant towards me.

Megan Boomershine: I am changing my review.In the last few month the store has gone really down hill. A few weeks ago when the temps outside were above 90° the store didn't have the AC on for well over a week. The produce was rotting in the fresh fruit section and fresh veg section amd there was so many bugs flies and gnats. And even still it smells so bad of mold there by the potatoes its enough to take your breath away. The meat case has a horrendous rotten smell now by the chicken. The milk case has a bad smell now too. The new store manager doesnt seem to care about cleaning like the old one did. Its getting kinda nasty. I am worried the store will end up getting closed down because of his horrible oversights in cleanliness. Before customer service was always opened now its closed several days a week. Ive gotten big cuts of beef that cost over 20$ that have been bad when I open them to cook them but didnt look rotten but smell so bad when I opened the package. Also Ive bought baked goods that have been moldy when I open it. This never was an issue under the other mans watch. I dont know the new manager but its obvious someone new has taken over and he doesnt have the same values as the previous store manager. That smell in the fruit and veg department makes you almost sick. I'm worried the store will end up closed down if this keeps up. Please please address this issue District management. Our community needs this store. I love shopping there but I'm close to going to a new location and that makes me feel so sad.
