Ashley: The only person in the store was a young guy nobody else, he was at the front. Nobody was on sales floor. He seemed irritated when I asked for help. I found a couch/loveseat that I really wanted and he told me that there were no more left and if I wanted it I’d have to pay full price for the floor model. When I told him that I didn’t need the chair that came with the couch and loveseat he told me I couldn’t purchase it without the chair. Which was a $300 difference. I asked him to call his manager he said he would and walked away then he came back a few min later saying his manager said no too. First off I’m not paying $1100 for a 3 piece set from “Bargain Zone” where I won’t even use the chair. They had the same exact “set” in a different color without the chair and it was $800 so where did that chair go. I would of bought that one but it didn’t match my living room. Secondly I’ve never been any other furniture store that demanded that you have to purchase the entire living room set in order to be allowed to buy it. Thirdly, I’m not paying full price for a floor model anyway that a bunch of random people have sat and laid all over gross. This whole experience was really bad, and it’s sucks cause they had some really cool bed frames and this nice couch. They could of made a good amount of money but now they have lost my business

Service could be better and establishments need to be a lot cleaner. Once again, a bunch of kids run this so you get what you get. I'm proud of the kids bc they are being productive and learning the ropes. The Buffalo Wild Wings is excellent!!! Great food!!!! Probably the best one I have been to.

Joe Kopacz: Not being a resident of South Bend and only having visited for a weekend to take in a few ND hockey games, I wasn't abundantly familiar with the general area around Eddy Street Commons. We came here during part of the Saturday prior to the 2nd game over the weekend to grab lunch.What is most striking about the general area of Eddie Street Commons also aligns with one of the notable features of the Notre Dame Campus itself, that being the effort put into the overall aesthetics. I almost had a hard time distinguishing the campus from the Commons on account of the overall structure of the buildings and the degree to which the brick matched that used by the University.The other great feature for the area is the large parking garage. We were able to find a spot easily and walk to Brothers Bar for lunch. Not much more to say than it was easy to park and get right into the general area.On the whole, I like the effort put into making this area blend well with the University. Though there are still some standard chain restaurants (Chipotle, Starbucks, etc) there's no other real identifying material on the building facades than the signs themselves. The area is easy to walk through on account of the large sidewalks and was clean when we visited. I can definitely envision spending time in this area again on a future visit.
