Deborah Pepper: I work for this company. There's alot of history here.
Carmack: For truckers….check in at gate 9. They don’t allow cameras on property so you will have to turn your phone in before entering property. They will give you a temp Id. Then you’ll be directed to what dock to go to. Load time was not bad, however watch how they load your truck . 4,000 over weight on the drives.

Garry D. Greer: I personally don't recommend working at this plant. I was an employee for three weeks shy of 13 years. .Originally hired by Power Components of Midwest. .in 2004..Parker Hannifin promised nothing would change and of course everything did! We lost benefits and bonuses. .example attendance bonus which I received the entire time until Parker eliminated it . .bonus for bringing in new employees, if they made 90 days you received $250.. gone with Parker. .The work environment over the year became more demanding while the pay stagnated. .Started with a production manager and six supervisors with six team leaders and staff that was sufficient. .Over the years 60% staff reduction one floor leader and one senior team lead and three team leaders. .With that they want you to take the responsibility of the team lead and supervisor by doing your job plus charting and creating grafts and projections while only looking forward to .07 -.35 cent raise. .There were employees starting at $9/hr only to be making under $10 five years later under the Parker administration. I was fortunate enough to have started under Power Components of Midwest at $7.50/hr and ended up at $12.90.and that's with two years of no raise because of the economy back in 07 and since then .08-.12 cent annual raises. Ideas that made or saved the company money under the previous company got you a check for a percentage of what the company saved or profited. .now they expect you to submit your ideas with only the chance of receiving compensation. ..(monthly drawing a name for the chance of $25) That's like putting in a week of work and crossing your fingers that your name gets pick to get paid. .and if that not enough your idea my have save the company thousands of dollars and the name that got pulled was someone that put a label on a trash can that says trash! First year they wanted you to submit 4-5...now they want 100...if you dont participate it's reflected negatively on your yealy review. .If the plant doesn't meet its unrealistic projections. .even if your product and job performance was flawless. .you also will get a negative review because of someone else not carrying their weight. .Work moral is at an al time low.and as people lose their jobs from their fault or cutbacks or retirement ...work force is only replenished though Temporary employee. .(who only has six months before they're dismissed ). .This puts more stress on the remaining employees because now they're training someone who as soon as they become experienced are let go..another reason why reviews are bad because out if no fault of their own beginners make mistakes. .these mistakes are factored in our scrap thus at year end it's on everyone's review .Its like they use this bad management decision to guarantee that raises will be miniscule. Along with cheaper labor and no benefits to the temps. They preach employee empowerment. .but if your ideas dont jive with theirs. .you are labeled negative. .so the only empowerment you truly experience is when things go wrong. .it's your fault! In closing i was let go back in February and denied unemployment. .I haven't been unemployed in over thirty five years. .and if you ask any employee that knew me they'd tell you I took pride in my work. .was always an hour early and had no quality issues. .I was the go to guy in my department. .when they let me go because of a disagreement with a temporary employee on a quality issue they LIED AT MY UNEMPLOYMENT HEARING. .Question. .who keeps an employee almost 13yrs and lets them go for quality issues. .especially when all my reviews say the contrary. They're shipping all the money making departments to Mexico. .so do yourself a favor and if you have another choice take it! If not. ..don't stop looking.
