Obstetrix Maternal Fetal Medicine of Indiana: what do users think?
Benjamin Kintner: Mary was the bomb! Super qualified, kind, and talked us through everything she was doing as she was going! The staff helped us find our way around and the whole process went without a problem. Our baby number 2 is in good hands here and so will yours!
Quantavia Troupe: I had my first initial appointment with this medical office and I was very pleased. The medical office was clean and quiet. The receptionist was kind and professional. I checked in early and was called back before my appointment time which I liked. The free wifi was a plus for me as well.Dr. Willie Donald showed professionalism, kindness, urgency, concern and was very thorough during my consultation. He explained everything pertaining to my case in a way I could understand. He also ordered needed tests and blood work immediately. Lastly, I was given needed education material pertaining to my case.Dr. Donald's nurse Aleea was very kind and professional and I appreciated that. She communicated everything to me in a way I could understand and she was prompt in getting the requested doctor's orders in place. As of now I would highly recommend this Maternal Fetal Medicine location to those in need. Thank you.
Jessica Sanchez: Very unpleasant place. The ultrasound technicians are rude, rough, and just plain mean. I hated going here, going to an ultrasound should be something to look forward to but I literally dreaded going here. If you have the option to go elsewhere I highly suggest you do. I did not meat ONE decent worker here. I can honestly say I hated this place. It was just an overall super unpleasant experience.
Jessica Padillo: Still requiring masking or refusal of services. Sounds like they super care for their patients. They won't see another dime from my insurance.
Maggie Gibney: I love this entire team! Everyone is super sweet!! Had the privilege of working with Jan ice today… she always makes me giggle and feel at ease!
Alison Treder: I took my daughter here to get her 20 week scan and the staff there was absolutely phenomenal! They took their time and explained everything and were so accommodating! Thank you for great experience
Michael Keiper: GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! This place doesn’t care for you or your child. They have locum doctors “temporary doctors” they don’t specialize in anything and are only there for the money. They don’t care what you think about the care you receive. They tried inducing my wife to give birth at 34 weeks for no reason. STAY AWAY!!! PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!! Extremely Dangerous!!!
Jazmin Sierra: I had a great experience with MFM. Dr. Donald listened to my concerns, scheduled the genetic tests I was interested in, and I was treated with patience and kindness.
Mey Mey: The drs were very cold and did not listen to anything you have to say. You are a number. You are a paycheck. That’s it. You are not a person in this office (except to the nurses and other staff they were Great!) please if you have a choice don’t go here. They do not value you or human life.
SuperOrivia: I was referred to them through my doctor they had a limited time to schedule me an appointment and waited last minute the only day they had was April 3 at 2 o’clock I do not leave work until three and it’s an hour ride were from where I live very unprofessional not leave it with me at all
Anthony Francis: Dr. Carol is very heartless. I would NOT recommend her at all if you have experienced any type of baby loss. Please don’t waste your time here. She makes inappropriate comments about the baby that was lost. Anywhere else would be way better. I would give this place zero stars if I could. The only thing good about this place is the nurses and staff. They are very kind and treat you very well. I’ll be looking for a new doctor for my pregnant fiancé.
Liz DeCook: I find it crazy that they ask you to be 10 minutes early, have signs that say if you're late you'll have to reschedule but I am never seen until at least 10 minutes after my appointment time. Usually closer to 30. I have had an ultrasound weekly for about a month and half now and this is ALWAYS the case.
Erin McDonnell: I'm under the care of the Memorial midwives, but my case is being co-managed by the Maternal Fetal Medicine group. The staff are warm, responsive, and helpful. The ultrasound techs really seem to know what they are doing, and I love that they are willing to talk me through all the things that they are seeing to help me make sense of the process. I've been seen by both Drs Abernathy and Stiver. Both were thorough and informed, willing to discuss the details of my case to make sure I understood.

Women’s Care Center: what do users think?
Chailyn Thomas: Don't ever answer the phone
Amy Lopez: I’m so glad my friend gave me the information about the classes offered here. As a first time mom, I enjoyed the classes and discussion with other moms and moms to be. The instructor Beth was very informative and kind. I’ll definitely be attending more classes! Thank you for offering this free service to everyone!
SA H: Going to this center is absolute sunshine in my life! I found Womens care during my first pregnancy when I was clueless alone and scared, and I met Beth who is a true Angel in the dark. I’m now in my third trimester of my second pregnancy and I still get the joy of visiting Beth and all the wonderful wonderful ladies at the center. If you need any help or support with your pregnancy or little ones this is the place you want to be! You will definitely leave with a smile and and boost of encouragement as a mommy or mommy to be =
jessica mora: The classes are the most helpful. It's nice to other mothers going through the same thing you are. The classes also have a variety of topics.
Paula Pacheco: I've been to all the centers and all the staff and counslers are really friendly and willing to help with all questions and needs they have helped and guided me thru all my pregnancies.I love the classes and the the coupons.

Josephine A.: I love this place, everybody l meet there was really nice to me and my two kiddos. I can't wait to go back again. God bless you guys for the good work.
Mia RH: A Wonderful resource for mothers and newly pregnant women. The staff is very warm and kind. If you are unsure about being pregnant, if you feel like you have no one to listen to your concerns about pregnancy in a non judgemental way, if you need information and resources, this is the place for you.The help provided by this Center has been so beneficial to me during my pregnancy thus far. The services are free which makes it accessible to anyone regardless of your circumstances. I am so thankful for such a place like this. Highly recommended.
Jadaela Finch: This location has a wonderful team. Any questions or concerns they always there willing to help. They give you so many helpful resources.
Ash Lashes: Women’s Care Center on ironwood was absolutely amazing. I walked in with anxiety, unsure of what to expect. I had an ectopic pregnancy in the past and even though I’ve had a healthy son since then I get really nervous since my traumatizing experience. My regular doctor wouldn’t even see me yet bc I am so early in my current pregnancy. I found it difficult to not fear the worst. The lady at the women’s care center (I wish I could remember her name bc she was amazing) was very soothing. She asked me questions to figure out how she could help me. She comforted me, she paid attention to my son. Complementing the fact that I breast fed him even though I’m a working mom and she loved that he is showing the beginning stages of talking. She gave a pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy, she congratulated me and provided me with an estimated due date. She gave me paperwork filled with information on warning signs, pregnancy health (I voiced concerns about my weight), and she even gave me a little onesie and book gift. She then scheduled an ultrasound to help give me some reassurance. It’s scheduled for this Tuesday and I cannot wait!! I’m calmer, and more relaxed now than I was before. I recommend woman’s care center to everyone! Pregnancy and childcare is not a one size fits all type of thing and they recognize that. They figure out what you need and they help you. They really care about you!
Deanelly Gonzalez: They were very kind and it was a great experience
Sanny Brown: This is a nice place/organization for all women. They truly wants to help specially if you're a first time mom. They have help & guide me throughout my pregnancy. I would recommend this place to check out if you're pregnant & a little lost.
Kirk Neal: Everyone was Super friendly, really great place.
Abbey Patton: Super friendly, made me feel welcome right away!
E Burman: What struck me first time I walked into a Women's Care Center was the calm, beautiful space, and then I found out that the counselors are all so genuine, warm, and welcoming. What mattered the most to me, though, was that the Women's Care Center provides pregnant women with a supportive, non-judgmental, and (important!) non-coercive place to get all the information they need in order to make their OWN best decisions.
Brandi Fletcher: The center has the nicest woman working there!! They benefit so many woman in the community with there parenting classes, advice and they always make you feel welcome! If you ever need help, pregnant or a parent you should definitely check out the Woman’s Care Center!
Grace Garmendia: They are caring, excellent support, knowledgeable, follow up with you, and so much more!
Alexandrea Hixon: By far my favorite women’s care center to come to not only because of the baby classes for first time moms but also because they offer a lot of different resources and if you ever need to speak to anybody they take time to see you and even make appointments and help you find programs .
JXtreme21: Everyone is very kind and understanding. I appreciate all they've done and for their patience and kindness.

Women’s Care Center: what do users think?
Jess: I was so worried during my (first) pregnancy. I wasn’t ready, was terrified… and had never considered myself having a single mom bone in my body. I’m very glad that I went to the women’s care center. They helped my partner and I through our pregnancy, checked up on us. I was so worried about everything at the beginning and they helped me with everything from helping me find care, emotional support, and help with baby care. The staff confirmed our pregnancy, gave us ultrasounds to track her progress in the first trimester, snd they were beyond caring. They offered so much love and support and I am grateful I went in the day after I found out I was pregnant, because now I have the most beautiful and wonderful miracle.Babies are blessings, and so is the women’s care center and everyone in it 💕.
jessica H: While this center is helpful to some women, it should be noted that this is a what is called a Crisis Pregnancy Center. These facilities are not medical facilities and do not have to comply with HIPPA law. They DO provide services for mother's but do NOT offer assistance in finding abortion providers as preventing abortions is the primary goal of such organizations.
Majestic Nadlynn: They are very nice always welcomed me when I walked in as a father didn't know I could get alot of help from this place it's greatly appreciated
Gunnar Hutchison: I actually just had a few questions I was wondering about
Ashley Tlahuel: They are helpful and most of the staff is nice but (at least with this location) things are disorganized. Its not just annoying, its inconvenient to spend my time in the classes and not get what I need with the coupons.
spongebob squarepants: It’s a very nice place with very nice people. This is my first pregnancy and they made my appointment smooth and comfortable. I will be going again. I Definitely recommend.
Abbey Patton: Extremely helpful, and nonjudgmental at all. Definitely would recommend for anyone.
E Burman: What struck me first time I walked into a Women's Care Center was the calm, beautiful space, and then I found out that the counselors are all so welcoming. The Women's Care Center provides pregnant women with a safe, non-judgmental, and (important!) non-coercive place to get all the information they need in order to make their own best decisions.
Mercy Medical Inc: The Women's Care Center is a beautiful and warm environment! Here, you can get free ultrasounds, counseling, pregnancy confirmation, and classes to help you birth/become/live sanely as a parent! I have been personally blessed by their generosity and I so greatly value their presence in the community.
Angie rae Riddle: Great counselors dont judge at all very helpful with any needs
Lucas Harmon: Wasted our time. Wouldn't schedule a sonogram without THEIR OWN test, and refuse to do both in the same day. Go somewhere else. This one's a dud.
Catherine Farrell: I had my pregnancy confirmed here, and then got my first look at my little daughter! They were so helpful when it came to advice about my severe morning sickness too.. definitely would recommend this place! Everyone is always so nice!
Elvie: Such an awesome place. Staff is so welcoming and kind.
Sarah McKinney: I became pregnant at a later age. Starting all over the women care center was there for us every step.earning coupons and going to classes helped me be completely prepared for my daughter's birth. I am truly grateful with all my heart. I give my gentle used clothing and baby items for other mothers in need like I was. Class on Mondays and Tuesdays are continuing to help me with diapers and amazing knowledge. I can't thank them enough.
Christina Cruz: I always have a wonderful experience when I go to the Women's Care Center. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping me through my first pregnancy! in Addition, all services provided by the Women's Care Center are free! You do no have to pay anything to go, they actually give you incentive coupons if you go and visit them, and you can trade in your coupons for items for your baby including diapers, clothes, cribs, car seats, etc!! If it was not for them, I would not be where I am today at 33 weeks pregnant. They have amazing counselors that help you through whatever situation you are in and really personalize and care about you and your well-being. I have Grace Anne as a counselor and she's absolutely amazing! She definitely helped me in all aspects of my pregnancy. I also had Susan who was the nicest nurse do my ultrasounds to check on the growth of my baby. I always feel welcomed and supported every time I go to the Women's Care Center and I will continue to go! Thank you so much for your services!!
Jacob Schaefer: Grace Anne is amazing. Notre dame ave and ironwood are both awesome care centers!!!
Steve Freddoso: We got a free ultrasound at this location for our daughter. Our ultrasound tech, Ashley, was great, and the counselors are all so nice. They also have free bins in the lobby where you can grab baby clothes if you need them.
Judy Madden: Loving counselors, great hours, such a warm feel.
Andrew Lynch: My wife had her first ultrasound of our daughter here! The ultrasound tech Barb was amazing and so supportive. It was so cool seeing our tiny baby wiggle on that ultrasound screen.
Julia Papagiannis: I love the women’s care center on Notre Dame Ave!! I have been coming here for 6 years for classes and everyone is just so kind and caring. It’s wonderful to have such an amazing support system!
Natalie Monnekulame: I can't praise the women's care center staff enough! My husband and I went in when we first found out we were pregnant, and they were so welcoming and warm. We were completely new to the area, and didn't really know where to begin when it came to prenatal care, medicaid, and all the other things that came with expecting a child. They immediately set up an appointment with us and walked us through everything. They also provide free classes where you can earn coupons and buy baby items, which we took full advantage of! Such a wonderful organization!!! I highly recommend them!!!

Memorial Women & Children Services: what do users think?
Levin: Great nurses, especially Ashley and Valerie!
Erica: I just had my baby here recently. I had a cesarean and seemed to be rushed out after a couple of days even after having problems with anesthesia still being present and me going home with a numb leg and foot. I had some good nurses and then I had one that really couldn't be bothered with me and when she did she seemed as though she was fishing for info and assuming.
Miya Edwards: I've had 4 children here and this last experience left the worst taste in my mouth. I was treated very poorly, especially by the last nurse I had and also one of the nurses that was in charge the last night I was there. I usually get surveys sent to my phone after every visit to memorial. I did for this visit too, except when I click on it, the survey is not available (conveniently for them). I guess they'd rather not hear or address my concerns.

Michiana Obstetrics & Gynecology: what do users think?
Emily Nearpass: This is the worst OB office I have ever been to. They are the most non-caring people I have ever met as healthcare professionals. I have worked in healthcare for 10 years and even I know that there is a standard of bedside manner as they call it.My entire pregnancy I was so sick I lost 30 pounds and none of the doctors would listen when I told them I was very dehydrated and could not keep anything down they did not even try to offer nausea meds. I had to go to my regular doctor for that and then I found out that they could have had me go in for IV fluids but because I don't have private insurance I was treated with the worst care. I had a tubal done after I delivered my baby and when I called because of concerns they told me just take some ibuprofen then refused to get me in to see anybody at all till three weeks after my six-week checkup should have been even. At that point there's no point in going in for a tubal checkup or my six-week checkup and the nurse even said that also.
Christina Renae: The medical care is incredible! I have no complaints with this facility, however, the reason I have rated it a 4 is because the receptionists are very rude and had gone as far as hanging up on me before I could finish my question of results. Again, though, great facility! If you know it all and haven't got to call them to ask of anything, 5 star!New Day:I had gotten a message to schedule an appointment and labs, so I xalled in to do so. I was hung up on twice before I actually got to speak with anyone, then the receptionist I had been speaking with was extremely rude and hung up in me mid sentence. I called back to complete scheduling, and she had called me a liar and told me that they didn't want to see me there. As I'd, again. Read the message I'd received, she cut me off, "is there a name?""No ma'am, I did not receive a nwas ther"And did is there a name?""No ma'am, there is still no name." (Getting irritated)."Then we don't want you here."That was so extremely rude and not something a receptionist should ever say to a client or patient.I am very disappointed in what seems to be coming from the phones and the respects that are refused to be shown. #timeandtimeagainWas given the wrong address, got to the appointment with 10 minutes to spare, however had been given the wrong address upon scheduling. They asked me to reschedule my appointment, regardless my having just driven 35 minutes to the facility. They then gave my thr correct address, we drive 17 minutes to it. And now I have been told I will be in the waiting room for an expected 30 minutes. Atop that, this is not the first time we had been given the wrong location, so the system is just really messed up and of no convenience to the patients if they've any plans within hours of their appointment.(Why my star has now dropped from the previous 4 to a 3).
Tricia-Rae Parent: I’m so glad I went to Michiana OBGYN. All the doctors & nurses there are so caring and make sure you are comfortable. I had just moved to South Bend while pregnant with my first and they made my entire pregnancy a great experience. They answered all my questions and never made me feel underprepared for my baby. Dr.Miller delivered my baby in under an hour and was just amazing every step of the way for my induction! I loved all of the doctors at Michiana & will absolutely be going there for all my OBGYN needs in the future!
Robin Hegendorfer: I accidentally went to the wrong location, asked for the other location since I was early and they stated I was 10 min early instead of 15. (Still early) I asked for the correct location and they said I wouldn’t be able to make it after they called the correct one (I would’ve been on time had I just left and driven there) but they scheduled me 20 min before doctors lunch. Haven’t met with the doctor yet but at least the office staff made me feel terrible.
Amanda Paschen: Only been a patient since July, but it's been great so far. Friendly and helpful staff, great nurses and doctors.
Adrienne Lee: Customer Service is very important. This office failed to inform us that they would be closed on December 23. A reminder was sent on December 22, reminding of the scheduled appointment on Friday, December. To drive there, the weather was bad, called no answer, and go to the door to discover there CLOSED! Upset Patient!
Madi H: Over all the doctors are nice and some of the staff but the front desk people and some of the nurses are so rude. It also seems they don’t have a great communication system either.
TANIKA Lark: I attended this office with all three of my pregnancies. The customer service was amazing each time. I was high-risk during each pregnancy and suffered a miscarriage my second pregnancy. The team of Dr's. and support staff walked me through every step.Thank you!
Chelsea Twyman: Been having my annuals for 5 years with Dr. Cox. Recently conceived and expected to have my first pregnancy appt with my established provider. Nope. Was scheduled with someone else because I need to meet all docs. I get that but it’s my first appt, let me have it with my established doctor please. The docs may be great but office staff has been absolute chaos or rude. And remember, when you have a problem, that’s who you talk to so they are very important!1. Scheduler insisted I needed to keep my annual appt even though I was calling to schedule my 1st phone pregnancy consult.2. Pregnancy phone screening nurse calls. Apparently she cancelled the annual that day as it wasn’t needed, and likely intended to tell me but was covering everything else and possibly forgot. So I took off work to go to an appt that didn’t exist anymore (this happens later). I had questions prepared and some issues but the tone was “I’m going to get to that later” in a not patient way. I’m a first time mom. I’m guessing it gets old talking to us first timers but still…3. This phone screening nurse sets up my actual appt with the doc. Says I’ll be ready for labs. Told her I have poor veins and most techs use a heat compress to get a draw. Says she’ll talk to the lab and they’ll have one which was nice of her to do while I was on the phone.4. Get to appt. The lab had no idea a heat compress was needed. The MA for the doc appt was very rude and crass. Even my husband was surprised. She didn’t want to ask the lab if they had a heat compress after I said I had brought my own but it needed to be activated at least 30 minutes prior if the lab didn’t have one. Then she asks me “when do you have blood work, 10 or 12 weeks?” I tell her I don’t know because this is my first child. She replies “guess it must be 10 if you’re scheduled today” Ask if she can ask the lab before they draw my blood. This apparently didn’t happen .5. Get to the lab. Ask the lab tech if I can have my draw that day. She goes and asks doc staff. Comes back and says company says you can have it at 10 weeks but the docs like it at 11 weeks….so I don’t have it and take my blood draw box home.6. Ask the doc what happens if you pay them the delivery fee and then don’t delivery at a hospital they service. He doesn’t know. It’s a big fee due at approx 28 weeks (I think) so I don’t feel this is crazy to ask…?7. This is when I try to attend my appt which has been cancelled. Ask to speak to a manager because this is all adding up to be a bad experience. Told one of 2 women will call back. No one does.8. Previously talked to doc about unisom and b6 not working. Was told there’s a prescription medication but it’s expensive. I try to ride out the rest of the first trimester. Call yesterday and speak with staff. Tell them “I’m 14 weeks in and still very nauseas and had to stay home last week. The unisom and B6 aren’t but working and I’d like to try the prescription medication even if it’s expensive.” THE MA CALLS BACK AND LEAVES A VM SAYING “we’re going to have you take the unisom and B6.” …..I call back and say that’s an inappropriate response because I had said that is exactly what isn’t working. I’m told the nurse will call me right back. Never get a call back.Physicians are so important and my interactions with them has mostly been great my last 5 years here. But staff are just as important! Hoping management sees this and addresses these concerns for future patients.
Kjerstin Rishaug: Had my 36 week appointment with Dr. Raj on March 2, where I told him that I was experiencing several, very specific, symptoms of eclampsia. I’ve always had a great blood pressure, until that day the nurse took my pressure and asked if I was nervous because it was reading high. I wasn’t nervous and continued to ask the doctor if something could be wrong since I’ve never had issues with BP. He told me that if I were 60, they might be concerned, but since I’m only 23, it’s okay.I proceeded with multiple concerns, as to which Dr. Raj kept reassuring me that everything was fine. They didn’t run any tests to make sure, they just sent me home with the good news that I was doing good.I didn’t like the fact that my BP was so high, so I continued checking the next few days, and it remained very high until March 6 when we decided to go to the hospital.Hospital had labs done, which came back with reaaaallly bad news, that I had something called HELLP syndrome. The baby had to come out ASAP, so as soon as they got those labs back, they were getting me prepped for the surgery. I had to be put completely under for the C-section because there was no time for any other pain medication. Another doctor told us that If we had waited another day, it could have been fatal to both baby, and I.A few months after I had the baby, I got an IUD inserted. My boyfriend and I could both feel something that felt like plastic, way up near my cervix, a few weeks after getting it placed. I go to see Dr. Cox the next day, and I’m convinced that my IUD has migrated. Nope, she checks me in probably 10 seconds and says I’m good. I asked her again if she’s sure and she said yes, but to keep my first string check appointment.Just went back a month later, had to have an ultrasound, and sure enough. My IUD had moved, and we weren’t crazy. An IUD only works if it’s in the right place, so could have gotten pregnant within that month.Dr. Raj Vito Shah, and Dr. Dayna M. Cox (Ingram) have done a terrible job and I would not recommend seeing them. Dr. Cox was probably in the room with me for a total of 2 minutes.Neither of them really seemed to care about my concerns, blew me off, and made me feel like I was crazy. They definitely seemed to have something better to do.While I’m at it, prepare to feel absolutely stupid if you call a nurse practitioner with concerns during your pregnancy. If you are going to this office, I highly suggest seeing Dr. MacKenzie Austgen. She has amazing bedside manners, makes you feel so comfortable, and is just the sweetest person. I was so grateful that she was on call and was the one who performed my surgery. She is absolutely amazing.
Kiara Moore: I was so nerves having my first baby, African Americans has the highest death rate of labor and delivery. I wanted someone who looked like me, listen and who would be my voice when I couldn’t speak up for myself. I did my research before I scheduled my appointment with Dr Cox. She is the only reason I am a patient and the reason I’m leaving this review. I felt so comfortable and safe in her care. She explained everything so articulate, respectful and with patience. She didn’t rush me, she made me feel important and I looked forward to my visits. I didn’t feel like a number, but like family. During labor and delivery she motivate, coach, and advocate for you. She made the scariest moment of our life the happiest moment. She has a soft voice, great communication skills, look at you with caring eyes, respect your body, uplifter, supportive, compassionate about her job, respectful, and overall AMAZING. If you are looking for a Doctor who cares about your overall health and treats you like a human being please make her your doctor. The staff is awesome as well, especially nurse Tania! She’s not Dr. Cox nurse, but she checked in on me each and every visit. Dr. Cox thank you for all you do! My husband and I have a healthy one year old because of you! We are forever grateful for you! We need more doctors like you!
Amanda Swords: Great Physicians and the staff are so helpful!!!
j snyder: Worst place you could take anyone nobody at this place should even be working at a veterinarian clinic
Elizabeth Gamez: The doctors are great! But the nurses and front desk receptionists are impossible to work with. I went to the ER due to spotting and cramping and told me it would be best to take a break from work since I’m so close to my due date. After being discharged at 2AM I had an appointment at 9AM at this clinic. I went and the doctor was lovely but once I stepped outside to receive my letter for an earlier FMLA leave, the receptionist was awful. Made me feel bad &was extremely rude. She told me that if I leave soon, I’ll have to be back to work soon too. Therefore, I decided to request leave the 13. (I don’t work in town, I fly to Dallas to work and I don’t come back to town 4-14 days later, depending if I get extended.) I came back and emailed one of the big bosses in my company. She said to call back and request to leave for the rest of my pregnancy to be closer to home in case I do in fact face an early labour. I called and the receptionist was just awful. They seem to hate their job and it doesn’t feel good. Especially now that I’m pregnant and alone, feeling vulnerable, the last thing I want is to feel like a burden to anyone. They’re just rude, and have no professional skills. Same goes with the nurses.
Alexandria Bigler: If I could give this office zero stars I would.Let me start by saying the doctors themselves are extremely nice. However the one star review is to account for the SHADY and UNETHICAL routes these people take when it comes to billing. After having already been a patient here for 30 weeks now the office refuses to send bills to insurance for some unknown reason. They are impossible to work with on getting this issue fixed, and after numerous attempts to resolve the issue they still try to tell us at every doctors appointment that I do not have insurance. (When in fact I do) I can confidently say I will never step foot in this doctors office again after the birth of this child. And I don’t suggest you do either.
Le Li: Update: Updated my review to 2 stars because this morning they reached out to us and offered to book screenings for us. We appreciate their effort but we will not be going there again. The doctors and nurses are great but I’m giving them 1 star because of their horrible administration people. We made an appointment online after reading the good reviews. During our first visit, the woman managing appointments (named debbie?) suddenly bolted into the room halfway and insisted that our appointment was a mistake, that we cannot have appointments with them until after 12 weeks and told us to leave and come back after 12 weeks to become their patient. We told her that I had several health issues (years of meds that would seriously harm pregnancy, working in potentially radioactive environment etc) that could be potentially dangerous and we were concerned what we should do in case of emergency, and we needed advices. She just said that’s not the issue. The issue is whether you want to make an appointment with us a month later or not. Also, when the nurse told her it might be early but we would talk about it after the procedure was done, she even started fighting with the nurse just to insist that our appointment was wrong and we should not have it. We were totally thrown off that their non-medical staff could just arbitrarily tell you to not see the doctor because she thinks you don’t need the appointment, without taking any personal medical issues into consideration. We decided we did not want to deal with her, so we went home and immediately got another appointment with OBGYN Northern Indiana. They were a thousand time more helpful and professional. Looking back on it, after reading other reviews with regards to their clerical issues, I’m even more convinced that their administration was seriously flawed.
Marsha Johnson: TLDR: This place sent my account to collections without ever calling me or emailing me about missing a bill payment. Avoid it like the plague.longer story: They didn't have me pay my bill at the office because they thought it was going to be paid by my insurance. I leave and hear nothing about it again so I assume the bill has been paid. Two months pass and I'm receiving a collection notice in the mail and my credit has been knocked down a good 40 points. Later, I find a single letter of them mentioning I needed to pay this bill. I have many issues with this:1. I went in for a follow up visit. Why did you not ask me to pay the bill then2. Who sends an account to collections after two months3. WHY would I not receive a single phone call or email??? Who on Earth only sends notifications in the mail today4. They had the nerve to write on that bill letter "we have made every effort to contact you." Ha, if every effort includes never ringing my phone or typing an email .. sure. The most pitiful effort I've ever seen.
Kara Bauman: Dr. Sloan Shah and staff have exceeded expectations. I KNEW she was good, but everyone here is just wonderful. We came to Dr. Shah after experiencing infertility and she took great care of us. She's knowledgeable and efficient and she and her staff move quickly with a plan and keep you informed. Dr. Shah and nursing staff are truly walking us through every step of this process in such a caring way.
Chyanna Crawford: .!love everything about this place
Nairuti Shastry: This is hands down the absolute best OBGYN I have ever been to. After months of worrying about an ovarian cyst and visiting several different Obstetrics & Gynecology practices in the middle of an interstate move, I was so grateful to Dr. Austgen (and ultrasound technician, Macy!) who took just one visit to identify, diagnose, and draft a treatment plan. Dr. Austgen took the time to listen to my full patient history, honoring that I was, in fact, the only expert of my own experience and body, and asked thoughtful questions that led to a quick, accurate diagnosis. She presented all treatment options and was responsive to my preferences; unlike other OBGYNs, she did not rush a decision or push a particular treatment plan. The front office staff and other healthcare professionals in the practice are spectacular, managing logistics for several patients at once, but never failing to prioritize and deeply care for each one. (For example, as a woman of color, I've had my name butchered multiple times in healthcare settings, but each practitioner at the clinic made sure to ask about pronunciation and ask to be corrected, if needed). I felt heard, seen, and valued. 10/10 would recommend this practice to anyone in the South Bend area!
lisa Nelson: I was previously a patient of Dr. Blick after she left I saw another provider who I was definitely was not impressed by in the office. I am grateful however that I stayed with the group and have seen Dr. Austgen. She is a wonderful provider, very empathetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. As an experienced FNP these are the traits I look for when referring to specialists. If you were closer I would refer all my patients to you for their reproductive care. Thank you so much for taking great care of me.
