Nick Anglemeyer: Usually don't post reviews... However, buyer beware! I have a consulting company that hired Josef to shoot some photos for a company I consult. We hired him to do some white box photography. The company I consult asked Josef for some lifestyle images as well, which he said would "cost more because I have to bring people in to shoot those." Okay, that's all fine and dandy. Upon delivering the project, Josef returned "lifestyle" photos that he pulled from the internet, proceeded to charge more for those photos, then when caught isn't willing to own up to his poor business ethics. Next, he said that he would shoot 6 angles of each product in a white box, return those photos in high definition and edited. Josef returned ONE angle of each product and is now refusing to complete the job and threatening to "go to the courts" if he's not paid. Unfortunately, Josef was not our best choice and I would refer no one to him. Plus, good luck getting ahold of the guy when you hire him!

Alicha Grubb: Josef Samuel Photography is overall not worth your money. I was recently a part of a wedding where he was the photographer, and his photography on the wedding day as well as the final product were a major disappointment. Josef showed up in khakis and a collared shirt, not industry standard all black. Josef is a kind and quiet person, but he does not have a commanding presence. If you want someone to be efficient (you are paying for his time) and direct an already busy crowd in order to take pictures quickly, Josef is not your guy. He barely took any variations of photos. And most of them were from the same angle. We had to remind him to take a picture of all the family members together, and any creativity in posing came from suggestions from the bridal party. Josef spent three times as long on any given shoot than necessary. His final product was ready in two weeks, but it was not cut or edited. Many of the pictures, including one of the only two of the bridal party, were out of focus. And he does not release the photos to the couple. Not only are you paying $3,000 for a sub-par photographer, you now have to pay $8 for a 4x6 of an uncut, unedited print. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

DASHONDA ALLEN: The owners of this air bnb were horrible. The grass wasnt mowed. Showed up at 10pm to check to see who was in the home. Blocked off parts of the house that you could not utilize and had belongings in closets and drawers

Rebecca Robbins: We went in for pictures at Christmas because we had won a gift certificate as it turned out that only covered the $200 sitting fee. It is now April 29, we still do not have them. I had arranged with them to pay for them when I started my position in January, I put half down with the agreement that the other half would be due when they were ready, more than 6 weeks later I had to call them back to see if they were ready. $300 and 5 months later, it looks like I will have to wait another month because I am working on the road and the office girl and the photographer are out of the office so there is no one to get me the photos, unless I want to pay another $20 to ship them. She takes nice quality pictures, but the wait to receive them was excessive.

Instead of your typical "stand in front of the gray background, hold a football, tilt your head this way and that", she wanted to take his pictures at his school right on the football field! Talk about personalization!! Who does that? Trisha had him laughing and having fun within minutes of her camera clicking away. She took tons of pictures in different poses both on and around the football field. Each and every one of those pictures she took are spectacular and so personal.
