Byron Fitzgerald: For anyone interested in acquiring a pinball machine or having one serviced, I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending Elkhart Pinball. In my initial search for a machine for our family home, John welcomed me into his place of business. He took time to show me his shop, along with some of his current & past projects. I also was allowed to play the machines on the floor. My wife & I ended up buying a specific machine from another source - that John did not have in his stock. But before very long John ended up traveling an hour away to our home to service that machine. Happy & impressed with the service received, I have since purchased a second machine for our home from Elkhart Pinball. On two separate occasions, John patiently helped a very unskilled me trouble shoot a few issues over the phone. And I should note -one of those times was before we had bought a machine from him. In addition - in our search for our first machine, I visited the homes of two collector/traders in Northern Indiana. Those two individuals purchase machines & fix them up for resale or their own use. Both parties shared with me - that when they have a difficult hard to resolve issue they go to the "guru" .... John at Elkhart Pinball.

Ben Bethel: As a pinball collector, I was working with Dave from this company on a purchase of a $10,000 pinball machine... we were only communicating, and before I got his response I got a response from the manufacturer of the pinball machine and moved forward with a purchase from them. It was really no huge deal, but his response to me when I was polite enough to let him know that I found my pinball machine (I could have just left him hanging, but didn't and replied kindly), he responded with "go waste someone else's time" and "jerk!"... not really the type of customer service I want to receive when spending so much money on one item. So, with that said, I would not recommend this business... perhaps he was just having a bad day, or some other external force was affecting him, but it shouldn't have carried over to me....
