Mary Ann Kertesz-Wardzinski: I attend the Sunnyside Church twice monthly for an Alzheimer Activity group. Our group spans the spectrum of this type of dementia. The activities in which I have participated include crafts, painting , and drumming. The program so far this year has included crafting, painting, drumming. Hey I cannot remember all we have done, after all I am a member of this group. Yes, I too have Alzheimers, so memory issues are to be exoected. The teachers are loving, respectful, and fun. Oh and so are we !When we have weeks break, I really miss,them all. That says it all for me

David Shank: God made us to share in His glory, and to find ourselves in Him! Wow! Who preaches this? Those who believe God, believe that He is good and a rewarder of those who seek Him. Such is the norm not just in preaching but in practical living in community at MCPC.My wife and I and our two youngest came to the South Bend area a couple years ago and have found a home, a community of people who are seeking to follow Jesus, that is to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him.Now, we are also growing in Christ with them and, even in our sufferings, we have much joy with thankfulness in Christ Jesus.Thanks be to God!
