Developmental Neuropsychological Services, PC; Chad Edwards, PhD, HSPP,: what do users think?
Jennifer Taets: We love Dr. Edward's, he took time with our son even at a young age and assisted with a plan for his teachers and us to utilize. His staff and him are wonderful.
Hannah Martin: Waste of my time and money.
Sara Burger: Dr. Edwards is very knowledgeable. He explained things very well. He had great advice on things with strategies.I feel very good with our experience and feel he was very accurate with our diagnosis. He is super nice and a good people person. His receptionist is amazing as well!Highly recommend!
Nikki Schaefer: I will be honest I was a little nervous for my elementary aged sons appointment after seeing the other reviews but I trust my PCP and since she referred us I decided we would give it a chance. I don't normally write reviews but feel it's very important to correct this practices review ranking as I do not think it is a fair reflection of their practice. Every one is quick to complain but few take the time to share the good and I could not have been more impressed with both Carley at the front desk and Dr. Edwards. Both took such time in making sure we were comfortable, understood the process we would be going through and Dr. Edwards was very accommodating and patient while explaining the results. He answered every question and truly listened to every concern I had. Our family dynamic can be complicated and he navigated it with such professionalism and understanding.Overall it was such a wonderful experience for something that is very emotional and difficult to go through.
Ryan Hardy: I was apprehensive about this place, seeing the other two extremely negative reviews. But my experience was very positive. As a bipolar adult, I've been through my share of good and bad providers. Last week we took our son here for testing. The receptionist was great and honestly so was Dr Edwards. He was very explicit, explained his thoughts on things, and why he came to the conclusions he did. He talks very fast, that's probably the only critical comment I have. You can always disagree with a doctor, but you're paying for their professional opinions, not for a diagnosis that you think you want. He was polite and professional, easy to talk to, empathetic to our concerns and answered all our questions. Can't ask for more than that. Even offered snacks and beverages, since the process took a few hours. No complaints here.
Sol: Extremely condescending and believes his view is the correct one no matter what. The receptionist was nice, but the treatment he reccomended did absolutely nothing and doesn't make up in the slightest for the wasted money and time. Please, please, do not waste your money here.

Family Psychology of South Bend: what do users think?
Kim Cressy: John is an excellent psychologist; the best we have worked with. He is always professional, highly skilled, and conscientious about requesting our feedback.
Trey Duckett: I have spent some time working with Dr. John Petersen and the other clinicians at Family Psychology. They are some of the most genuine and caring people you will ever meet. The entire practice has a focus on helping families, couples, and individuals through research driven approaches and practices. They make sure people get the best quality care. Lastly, they have a heart for this community and the families living in it. I'm sure if you come to Family Psychology, you will experience the same!
Eric Oglesbee: A turning point in our family's life was when we began seeing the therapists at Family Psychology. Their staff helped us navigate difficult parenting situations over the course of multiple years, giving us actionable tools which we use daily. Every person we've worked with has been kind, thoughtful, professional, helpful, knowledgable, and deeply caring. I hate to think what our family life would be like right now if it weren't for John, Sharon, and their amazing team.
Jodi Briner: I would not recommend Jennifer Carter. She lacks compassion, empathy, and understanding. She is unorganized and unhelpful. Last but not least, Jennifer will kick you when you are already down.
Daniel Driscoll: As Head of School at Good Shepherd Montessori School, I've worked with John Petersen and Sharon Bain for many years, as they are our educational and developmental consultants. I have full confidence in their work with children, families, and our staff. Their insights into the human person, their collaborative approach, their respect for the abilities of the child, and their problem-solving skills have served the school well, and have consistently produced positive results.
B T: Dr. Petersen provided me with great resources and steps to take before we were able to see him. He made sure that things progressed before we even met. It was evident he valued our welfare. We felt like we were a priority to him. I would highly recommend Family Psychology.
Joanna Want: Sharon Bain is a great resource for parents in the South Bend area. She has helped me understand positive parenting in a way that I could not have gotten simply from reading books. She has a kind, open demeanor and is focused on concrete problem-solving, while also helping parents keep in the mind the big picture, which is raising kind, cooperative, and resourceful children.
Heather Glenn: We have been working with Sharon Bain throughout our son's preschool years. This past year, we've had the opportunity to attend her monthly discussions focused on Winning Your Child's Cooperation. Sharon is always very kind and understanding of every situation and has offered us many tools that have not only made parenting our active and sensitive children easier, but have also been useful in enhancing positive relationships with our children. These meetings have often served as gentle reminders to incorporate positive parenting approaches into the hectic morning routines or generally throughout the day when we find ourselves pushed to our breaking points. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our family.
Kiernan Cressy Anzelc: I have referred six families to Dr. Petersen and each one of them was as impressed as we have been. We have found Dr. Petersen to be wise, insightful, and effective in addressing and resolving issues. During a particularly challenging period in parenting he even gave me his cell phone number and consulted with me during an early morning crisis. Two of the families I referred have since sought marital counseling and both report feeling that it was a turning point in their relationships. He is a dedicated professional and committed to helping families and couples. We are fortunate to have a resource like him in South Bend.
Donna Kooy: Been seeing dr John petersen. Very goodlistener. Caring. Soft spoken. High integrety. Polite. And overall great personallity. And works with couples counseling. Goes above and beyond his expertise . Donna from south bend**
